Thank you for the questions. First, the white hose was hose that was included with the new fuel pump. I chose not to use the "old" hose because the end of the black hose was on the old pump really tight and as I pulled on it to remove, it began to stretch and distort. I didn't specify the exact pump I used because there are a lot of choices for pump replacement. The "exact" pump I used can be sourced in a number of places, but was purchased from ebay: US Motor Works USEP3240R.
But why did you upgrade the pump? What’s the delivery pressure of the Toyota pump? LS platforms need 58psi but you get that from your regulator. Maybe the Toyota would have supplied that or been a good lift pump, which would save your higher pressure pump.
