The PLAN to have it delivered, and the other perks like no minimum on shipping, are very much worth the $98 per year. But when you have to tip the driver 15%, it's not worth it. You can choose the amount of your tip, but I'm not in a financial position to add 15% to my grocery bill. I kind of wonder what the $98 per year was for if I have to tip $5 to $15 three or four times a month for delivery. And, sorry, but I believe companies should pay their own employees. I don't like the American tradition of tips.
💯
The tip system is voluntary, but they end up shaming you for not doing it.
I just started Walmart plus and didn’t realize that they aren’t employees but kind of like Uber and all those so they get paid per delivery idk how much it is but I’m not trying to spend more money for a subscription I paid for. SMH.
@@vikc4118 Exactly. And as an update, my orders have been nothing but trouble!
They outsource the jobs to Doordash. I agree if you paid $13 bucks a month and they’re not hiring employees to deliver the groceries, then that is very wrong.
Hell yea. It’s worth it. Not stepping into that ghetto store for the ghetto prices I want. Yupp. It’s worth it
You must be a Target shopper
Lol right!!
@@cristalramirez648 I actually change my mind. Not worth it lol. You have to spend $35 each time to qualify for delivery.
@@CertifiedM3x agreed. I usually order mine and pick up. No fee and I don't have to get off lol
@@CarLos-by5xl 🤣🤣
Thank you this helped me and my father out so much!❤
I told myself over and over that I wasn’t going to tip because delivery is included in the membership. Lo and behold after she delivered the groceries, I went on the app and tipped. It gives the option to tip therefore I would not feel right not tipping.
Hi thank you for such an informative video. I just have a question, do you know if I cancel my subscription now will the free trial still continues?
Thanks just used the code for my first order and used your link for the $10. off. Thank you!
Ironically I’m here watching a vid about Walmart grocery delivery to fulfill my needs for Cheetos flaming hot family size bags and Coca Cola (seriously)….and this vid fully delivered! 😂🤣😂
My local Walmart is absolutely PACKED with people, the parking lot itself takes 10-15 minutes to get in and out. I just do delivery now and don't worry about the hassle. After using the service for 6 months (about $60 or so in fees) it says I've saved $300, about $220 of which would have been delivery fees alone. So paid for itself many times over. Would recommend! Deliveries were on time, you can schedule when they come, large selection of grocery items I don't find on services like Prime.
I personally love it, the amount of time saved has been great! It also helps with budgeting, I know exactly when I have hit my spending limit and can adjust without the need to put items back. I hate going into Walmart but as someone else said "you can't beat the prices".
Oh also can you save and make like certain grocery list? So you can just go back in and click that to go faster?
Definitely worth it. I was skeptical but damn it’s a good subscription. I hardly go into the store for anything anymore and I think they got the hook up bc I order products that I have never even seen in the store and they arrive at my doorstep. The mobile scan and go is great too if u have to go in store. I bought last minute holiday items, scanned as I put them in my cart and flashed my phone at a screen to checkout. Flawless. Except one thing. If shopping in store they need a Walmart plus only checkout. It takes a split second literally. Kind of unfair to have to stand in line for an hour waiting on people to scan, bag, wait for error assistance, etc and when it’s my turn I scan a QR code and walk away. But, maybe this will be a future feature that will kill competitors
Amazon Fresh is faster and better. Lol
@@qmawpxvecxydiwixytvieowizhehsi that’s true but unfortunately Amazon Fresh isn’t available everywhere
Sounds like a good app if you buy all your groceries at Wally World. We only buy packaged items (No Meat, Bakery, or Vegetables) and spend about $25 to $35 a week. I am curious if you are not a member and want to use the scan and go with the app if it'll work?
I live within 3 or 4 miles and I am highly thinking of signing up. I hate going to wallmart and it will save me time looking around, driving, waiting in line. It's a no Brainer.
There’s a delivery tip fee on top of the delivery fee. Is that covered as well?
I don't know why but walmart plus is always charging me shipping when it shows free shipping and I have to keep telling them that so they can give me my shipping money back
I live in a Condo will they deliver to my door? And how much tip should I give.
I just order got it, because I live up on the 3rd floor, so to be able to have 2 cases/80 bottles of water, 25 lb of cat litter, 16 lb of cat food, plus 16 other items = is totally worth it!
So me and my Father got this thinking it would be more convenient, and at first it was. However I am cancelling soon due to the just sloppyness of this. This is like a doordash program they signed up for Walmart and typically use dash/uber eats drivers. Essentially for basics its useful, but not for $35 minimum order and plus the tips the suggest start at $4. I don't mind tipping but $7 on a $50 is robbery. Secondly, things are ALWAYS substituted or out of order AFTER you order and are expecting. You have the option to turn off no substitutions, but then you wont get anything. When something is out, youre just SOL and have to try again when its in stock or isn't. They are out of constant favorites at our local walmart, and sometimes we are limited to buying items that would seem ridiculous to limit in store. I'm talking butterscotch candy disks etc, not TP. If it's not included in delivery then it's normally shipped in an unnecessary large box and just creates clutter. 2/10 I'd rather spend the time to go pick the nicer things in store. I ordered 3 bananas recently and they sent me 3 plantains... I'm done.
Thank you for sharing your comment, this has made me rethink this. I do not want substitutions and paying $8 dollars on delivery for like maybe two items is costly.
Where do you rate your delivery driver? I was curious because I never saw it.
They said no minimum order, if you sign up for the membership. If you compare this to Amazon Prime, it's not worth it in my opinion.
I think you also get fuel discounts with that membership. I personally think it's worth it especially if I have to shop for stuff like gallons of water and milk.
it is def worth it if you order a lot from the store. The gas is 5 or 10 cents cheaper, but getting into the gas station is a nightmare. Cars coming into the parking lot from all directions. There should be one way only. The one I go to has 3 entrances to the gas station. Imagine cars using all those entrances for just 6 pumps? There is no line, first come first serve so there are plenty of fights going on as to who was heading there first. I watched one driver actually hit a pole trying to beat someone that was headed, from the opposite direction to the same pump. As one car tried to beat another, he almost took the whole pump down, Good thing those cement poles surround it. He damaged his car pretty good. It's horrible in South Florida.
Do you need a gas card when you have Walmart plus? Or do you just use the app?
It’d be nice if it showed other locations near by that would be in stock of the iteams so if you wanted you could shop at that location as well
I got a charge for Walmart plus and I didn't order it. I have a sams CC. So far it hasn't removed yet. Why have sams club and Walmart plus ?
My membership that I paid for $98 a year. I didn't cancel it. Now they want me to pay another $98. every order I placed, there is always items missing. I always check delivery, but still get an email stating it's ready for pick up. THEY ARE THIEVES. So beware.
Just bought it cause I'm a Sam's club member and scan and go is worth it alone but you get fuel prices too.... Win win
I'm looking forward to trying the scan and go feature next time I go to Walmart!
walmart+ scan and go is different from Sams. with walmart+ you have to stand in the self check out line.
I’m watching this after testing postponed for covid19 I have a family and this seems to be the best option to get us food lol other services are more expensive and Amazon prime now sucks for groceries unless you like getting rapped by whole foods
Same. Just tested positive on Friday, so I had to figure out how to get groceries with no family near me.
@Raihanna body aches, skin tingling/burning and slight cough for about 4 days. The loss of taste and smell lasted over one month. It’s been three months now and I think I’ve recovered completely. I still wear my mask and got vaccinated recently just to be safe.
I have had Walmart unlimited delivery for a few years. For the past six months Walmart has been double or triple charging me on the membership fee. When I call them and say they double charged me and I want my money back they will cancel my membership and if I want my membership back I have to pay for it again. I’ve gotten to the place where I won’t buy anything online or even go into the store using the same card that I pay my membership with. I now call my bank and ask my bank to try to get my money back. Does Walmart do this on purpose, double charge their customers, because most people do not pay attention to their bills and they’ll pay it without question? They make it very difficult for me to want to remain with them. But I am Disabled and I use the service because I don’t have any way to get to the store. Please help me to figure out a way to avoid these problems with them. Or is this something that is prevalent and will continue? Thank you
What’s up Spath? Long time, man.
Are the delivery drivers walmart employees? Or are they independent drivers with DoorDash, Spark, etc?
Very cool and interesting video
Hey Rapscallion! Definitely has been a very long time. You still making halo content?
The drivers are 3rd party drivers, the delivery guy was using an app that I never heard of before... but definitely similar to DoorDash.
@@TuNgo I make videos every now again when inspiration strikes. Nothing too crazy.
I’d be interested to see/hear about this mystery app. That’s make a really cold vid :)
Definitely will make a video about the app when I can, having issues making my account on it at the moment lol. I've started to play Rocket League, if you're trying to game sometime hmu!
Does anyone know if there is a family plan or something in the works to get one?
Just watched your video about Walmart Plus. Wanted to know if they deliver items like televisions, microwaves; household appliances? I use a cane and find it difficult carrying certain items. Especially trying to walk up and down stairs.
Yes they do.
@@beliefmindset4548 Appreciate your reply.
Can you cancell ur memberships any time? If so how?
The trial is very confusing because it literally states no minimum order requirement?
This is personally something I would not buy but I’m an associate so I get it for free. They also just added paramount + to it
what you forgot to mention is walmart typically adds a optional delivery charge tip automatically. which is oddly bizarre considering none of their decent competitors do.
Walmart does that to attract and keep more drivers to the service.
Well no tip no trip is what EVERY driver says, so keep being cheap and not tip and see how long it takes for you to get your order. These drivers are independent contractors doing a job you do not want to do. Same with Doordash, the drivers do not get the extra fees that the company charges the customer. The driver gets a flat rate of 2.25 per delivery. So keep being cheap and continue to get cold food and late groceries. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@redskinrick876 the point is Walmart does not disclose on the front end, they take the money for a plus membership, then slam the user for tips without disclosure. I am supposed to have free shipping, instead they choose to make it a home delivery. Literally my Walmart is right up the road, I will NOT ever renew.
Why won’t it let me get monthly?? An error message pops up when I try to get monthly and it only works when I try annual…
I absolutely hate shopping at Walmart but you can't beat their prices. So im attempting to do the free trial. Just ordered my first set of groceries tonight. Should have it early morning tomorrow.
Was there any hidden charges?
No
@@MrJimmyc82 there are no hidden charges, only charges you accidentally gloss over
I'm not sold on the $35 minimum order. Amazon prime has no minimum order for free shipping.
BS! I shopped Amazon for over a year and their minimum order from free shopping is $35!
@@antongrim666 I think he’s talking about Amazon Prime.
@@Johnnyy832 Amazon Prime and Amazon Shopping are two different things. He was referring to Amazon Shopping that has a $35 minimum and Amazon Prime deals only with TV and Movies. I have them both.
@@antongrim666 ??? But his comment specifically said Amazon Prime.

I renewed my Sam membership and I looked online for things and so much is out of stock I'm beginning to wonder if we're Russian already ?
Thinking about getting this. They delivered partial of my order using from the store and I'm not even a member. I loved getting my stuff same day. 15% tip isn't bad. If you can afford it, it definitely saves a trip.
The tip is optional
@@Youranium22 not any more. Just checked 4.00 tip or more is mandatory ☹

Have you guys had any issues with the driver returning your order back to Walmart because you didn’t come to the door? I just got my order delivered with the option “leave at door” selected and I heard a knock but didn’t initially open the door because I was in the bathroom. Went to door and the driver was still there standing and waiting saying that “you’re lucky because I was about to take it back to Walmart” I asked him why and he said after they drop it off they have 2 minutes for the customer to come to the door before they take it back. Which makes no sense to me And wondering if anyone ever had their order returned?
I haven’t had that issue yet, did you tell Walmart about your experience? I’m sure they’ll make some kind of note or flag the driver if they’re doing the wrong thing. Doesn’t make sense if you selected the drop off option.
I have not had that problem
I have had the driver knock but then they leave
He probably wanted a tip
They just drop it off and leave it. That driver wasn't following the direction.
Actually as a driver in the app it instructs the driver to make sure the customer is actually available to receive the delivery. Via call, text, or in-person. If a customer is MIA the app instructs the driver to return the items to the store.
Not when they charge you a delivery charge of 9.95 when you order over 35 dollars ! There was a item unavailable took it off then was charged about 10 dollar delivery even though I added a item to go over 35 dollars.
Thanks for your detailed description
My experience is not as good as yours
Person delivered items at promised time
Items were heavy, I am almost 80
By the time I opened front door ( I opened promptly) he has already put Two cases of water bottles (40 bottles each) and 40lbs bag of salt pallets
When I brought to his attention that I wanted delivery at the garage door, he said next delivery will be at the garage door
I have amazon prime for many years and Amazon service and delivery and return are amazing
I have not tried fresh vegetables or meat from either of the two
Costco, Sam’s club give 10 cents of on gasoline
Walmart also offer the same ( I haven’t tried) my go to vehicle is electric
Why do they want to know how many ppl in ur home?
I live 1.4 miles from my Walmart and they don’t deliver to my area????? That seems a little ridiculous
Really? It’s still new, so I wonder if they’re slowly rolling it out.
Probably setting up logistics. Most likely ready soon!
You should just drive over and get what you need. Oh I forgot, they no longer stock what most people want.
Just tried the Walmart +…most products are not in stock. Delivery is never guaranteed and customer service issues are not resolved. They do not allow you to escalate. Good luck on calling the store…this service is not ready for prime time
Do Walmart Plus delivery product?
Walmart+ does not offer a family plan. You'll have to share logins or buy more subscriptions.
Walmart Plus sounds good but here is the problem with Walmart, they ober promise and under deliver I was preparing to pay in advance for a whole year. It sounded great. We ordered groceries on a Sunday and was promised delivery on Thursday. We were okay with that. Thursday came and no delivery. We waited up until 11pm (the time that our East Stroudsburg Walmart closed. Still no delivery.
We phoned and were told that we had to pay $10 for delivery. I said we already paid the $10 for delivery. They said that the additional 10 was for expedited delivery. I explained that we ordered on the previous Sunday. The man looked into it and said that they didn't have a driver that day. We received no phone call, no explanation, crickets from our local Walmart.
I was so aggravated that I called back and asked that my Walmart account be closed (on the app) and we haven't stepped foot into Walmart since.
Walmart has lost our business completely. I went back and checked and over the past year has spent thousands at Walmart. That is revenue that they shall never see again. We instead got Amazon Prime.
This. Not worth it.
They snuck a $98 fee on my card at the end of closing 😒
Is for me because u can use ur ebt an not pay cash
Dislike just bc you didn’t record the delivery guy & you didn’t show your groceries
Wanted to see if they pick the best bananas for you or they didn’t
Also you didn’t have to actually have the camera in front of the delivery guys face you could have just place it somewhere where at least it shows he’s delivering it
Waste of time watching this vid, wanted to see the full experience…
They charged me $29 for minimum order fee. I did not know this!! What the heck. That totally makes me mad. I have ordered hundreds of dollars in the last week why did they charge me this below order minimum fee?
As with most such programs, Walmart collects personal and private information about you and your family and sells it to companies who sell it to companies who sell it to companies, etc, etc, etc.
So even if you pay them for a year of "" free "" delivery you have to order at least 35 dollars or they charge you extra ? Extortion much Wal Mart ?
Stop being broke
Bra why did they take money out if I have the free trail and my order was 45:50.
NOT worth it. Delivery times are always blacked out. I canceled my Walmart + membership and their store card sucks after cap1 took it over . Bad attempt trying to complete with Amazon
I'm sorry I disagree I love my capital one Walmart world Mastercard. I haven't used that service. The card is worth it for grocery pickup
I will never trust a Walmart employee to deliver my goods let alone shop at one
Good review bro. Imo I don't like how they advertise it as free delivery. That's just me...but overall it's an interesting service, I just don't see myself using this service. I sorta like the Walmart experience.
Yea they omitted the fact of the tip for delivery and instead make it sound like free delivery. I can do the pickup for free and drive 6 miles for less then a tip.
Can you order anything in the store?
There’s limited items right now, but you can get almost any standard grocery item.
Nope because they don’t let you select which Walmart you want.
I say is not worth it I just order something and they sent me the wrong order the only thing I got correct was the 18 pack of Gatorade Walmart scammed me. I won't be ordering from there no more waste of money I paid $12.99 for one month bad experience I don't know who's fault was it that I got the wrong order but the delivery lady was nice smh Walmart you treated me wrong
Do u have to tip the delivery guy?
Nope
I got it and said free delivery but when placing my order and they would charge me $10 dollars for delivery plus when trying to pick they never would have times available. So what's the point paying for a membership then pay $10 and expend $35 .. either way free shipping when expend$35
I agree, at this point I just wait until I’m spending over $35 to place orders on their website to get free shipping.
@@TuNgo yes. i had the free trial and i ddnt even use it. Plus my walmart dnt sell fresh just frozens.. and never have everything available..and besides the $10 charge you had to tip the driver.. not worth to me i only buy diapers and wipes.
Does anyone know if you could get the membership and get orders to multiple addresses? For example, can I get an order delivered to my house one day, and get an order delivered to my parents house in the same town another day? This is assuming delivery is available to both of our addresses. Or is the account tied to one address?
You can save an alternate address in there but you just have to select it for any specified order.
Walmart boosts up the prices of their it's online. At the supermarket, the prices are lower.
$98 a year is cool but every delivery has a tip requirements. Walmart uses a 3rd party such as door dash
Yeah! The Tip is BS for a 12.95 a month subscriptions. I'd rather use instacart we're you can use in various stores
I do not mind tipping the excellent Dashers. I am still trying to tip Samuel in Waukegan for a 9/23 Lakehurst delivery, and Walmart of Door Dash is not helping. The tip option was down.
Did you say it has a tip requirement? I know that they want people to do it but is it required?
You can change the tip to $0.00 I do it every time right before I click to place my order. Therefore you can tip what you want once they arrive or not at all.
@@g-k9695 don't you still have to tip instacart?
In Kansas, Walmart+ is a scam. I try to get basic things shipped, and they won't ship most of it. I wasted $100 on this scam.
the promotional price right now is $49/year.
Not to mention if you dare order water they will tell you they are out of stock but if you go in the store it's filled like where's the water shortage? Maybe that's why az is such a hotspot for covid huh? Can't go more than 2 days without water right LOL
Why u didn’t show us your answers
I have been waiting 3 days now for my third delivery! The other 2 were cancelled with no notification!! Walmart plus is not an honest business!
This has been happening to me recently as well. Last year I never had any issues with Walmart delivery but now it's like my orders are always getting delayed. The last 2 times this happened they got canceled when a customer representative I talked to promised me I'd be getting my order today
Wow, you can get delivered within a few hours. Amazing
Right?! Looking forward to using it again within the next couple of weeks.
With 35+ of total cost same with amazon
So my experience is I'll use instacart 5 dollars cheaper unltd delivery no extra 10.00 for same day. With walmart I quit because I placed my order at 530 in the morning for 7-8 delivery and at 630 pm I get a message my delivery has been canceled cuz too busy???????
So canceled my subscription and started instacart and got my delivery in 2 hours with no extra charge . F off walmart just like in store your delivery cust service sucks even worse
Nightmare in NEBRASKA!!
Food comes spoiled, defrosted/melted, etc. Fresh produce is a joke, but I doubt anybody shops wakmart for fresh produce.
The issue is even prepackaged food comes damaged. My last delivery, I FINALLY REFUSED the order because the driver spent over a half hour near a Lowe's hardware store with NO decernible place to deliver other groceries to.
I am guessing he took a smoke break and fell asleep or something....
Please take the spoiled food back to Walmart, where they will put it back on the shelf for the next VICTIM.
EPLURIBUS im worth it
I don't need or want Walmart+, and I HATE that it is being forced upon employees.
He did not round up to feeding America💀
How many people have linked and got you $10? You could tell people they can link their spouse and get each other $10 off. Also a lot of misinformation and incomplete information. You make it way more complicated than it needs to be and still leave out a lot of important stuff. If you don't do groceries, no it's not worth it; you get free delivery with a $35 order anyway. If you do groceries, it's a no brainer. Yes it's well worth it; but they are going to beg you incessantly for a default $7.00 tip on a minimum $35 order. I have had it for 6 month and I like it a lot. I won't renew it though. All in all I would rather do grocery pickup.
The plastic bag part turns me off from trying the service. In all their + ads they show the cloth bags, which is obviously fake. So lame.
Yeah, I didn’t expect the cloth bags after I saw the ads because I feel like that would force Walmart to shell out a lot of money for bags lol
Associates get it for free
Would of liked to see the chicken and bananas, but no
Wallmart is a very sketchy operation that i would NOT trust them with anything they do.
They have reviews but they are monitored and funny how most are 5 star reviews on products NOBODY with any shred of common sense gives a 5 star review. Also the first vague gimmick was that Wallmart was cheaper and price matched.
Well i'd rather have confidence in the prices than have to research every item i buy and see if the price is equal or better and watching Wallmart over the years their prices are seldom on are typically MORE expensive at least on the items I typically buy.Another simple example "ultrafiltered milk"wtf is that is it even regulated lmao this is the kind of BS marketing you can find from their low end not recognized products.Lactania milk "bag" 4.44 at Food basics Wallmarts special 5.29 2% bag. This is typically what i see their prices are NOT good idl why people even shop there maybe habits maybe they feel special ..cool idk the reason makes no sense.
Are you asked to tip the driver?
I just saw you said you had to tip the driver...hmm...that makes the cost not worth it for me....
I like 5 mins from Walmart
Tipping is optional, you can choose to not tip!
Then I’d feel like a dick...the drivers probably rely on the tips. :/
Anyone know how well they are paid to deliver?
I'd like to know about this also... I feel bad not tipping. I order A LOT. But, we actually go and help the guy unload. For me, if you gotta tip everytime, it becomes less of a good deal, of course. And, could become a bad decision. But, it is totally worth it too, for us. It saves me sooooo much time, and gas.
I just talked to a driver who told me $7 is a good tip. Anything less and they are upset because they don’t make enough.
Unfortunately I order groceries weekly so that adds up fast...I won’t be getting Walmart+
Nice beard
Thanks man!

Join W+ this morning at 7am my time, Central time. I live in a big cities of at least 3 million people (for demographic analysis). After adding $35+ into cart and checkout around 7:45am, there was no time slot left for today. Tried pickup and still no time slot open for today. The ONLY available time slot for delivery and pickup are for tomorrow. Because there was no more time slot left for today, they offer Express delivery 2 hours for an additional $10. Wait, What? I need MILK AND COOKIES for today, not tomorrow! and if I have to pay an extra $10 for Express to get it today, the Milk and Cookies alone cost less than $10, WOW. You would think that being a Walmart+ member, you would be a VIP customer with VIP timeslot. If Walmart+ members share the same timeslot as non-members, what's the point. Failed, at least in my area IMHO.
