I love my Prime, hard to find items, prime video has excellent programming, books, ebooks, so many things that make me happy, the ability to “oh, my favorite author’s new book comes out today, but I can’t drive to a bookstore to buy it.” I can go to Amazon Prime, and start reading in 2 days. Walmart, I go to the grocery section, pick out what I want, tell them if I want them substitute if my exact product isn’t available. It used to be $30, now it’s $35 minimum per order. Tell them when my aide can be there to pick up for me. I was using this service before the lockdown. This saves her time, and headaches. I’ve been with Amazon for 16 years. Every year the service has gotten worse (delivery times are worse, packages arrive damaged, the people who deliver don’t even try to get the stuff on the porch, and customer service is worse), especially in the last 2-3 years. My membership will be expiring in November and I do not plan to renew. With that being said, I don’t plan to give any of my hard earned money to Walmart either. Guess it’s time to save some money and not buy as much, so I thank them for being crappy services because in the end, it’s helping me have a better retirement. 😁

Yeah this is why I canceled my Amazon Prime, if you pay for shipping and it doesn't arrive by the ship date they still have the guaranteed delivery thing where if not delivered by the date stated you get free delivery, now with Prime you get free delivery anyways so what can you do but suck it up, with guaranteed delivery at least you would get the delivery cost back.

Since there is also a $35 minimum for regular curbside pickup, their stock tends to be limited and they don't sell gas near me, it isn't practical to also pay for a membership. To be honest, I just cancelled my Amazon Prime membership tonight. Reason being, the only perk I used from my Amazon Prime subscription is the 2-day shipping when I couldn't find something locally. Also, during the Covid crisis, all of my Amazon Prime orders were a mess. Customer service was useless resolving issues as well. I can live without the Prime membership. As for Walmart, I have at least 6 Super Walmart's within a 2-15 mile radius from my house. My husband & I love our local Walmart's & we shop with them all the time. The order online grocery pickup or delivery is our favorite perk. It saved us a lot of hassles during Covid lockdown. Will we give Walmart Plus a go? Absolutely! I'm signing up for a month tonight. We'll see how it goes.

    Walmart + = NOPE
Walmart's website is horrible. Accuracy of what is in stock at your store is incorrect. Tried to help my mom remotely find a microwave at her local Walmart using the website during the virus. Found one. She ordered it (showed they had many) and they were out of stock. Ended up getting one from Amazon shipped to her house.
Walmart has the mask policy but I still see managers and employees with the mask off the nose or under the chin--this includes some of the "shoppers". Don't say one thing on a sign as you walk in and then do another. So what is the policy???
They got alot of work ahead of them to gain more of my business with this new membership.
    NOPE

This isn't a Walmart issue, this is a physical store with customers actively moving, buying and stealing products that are in the same pool of items being sold online. I'm not saying they shouldn't do more to prevent your scenario, but all physical stores are subject to this and they tend to value in-person first come first serve and have someone deal with any issues as poorly as possible because they've already got their money.
