We need a video of that dancing competition!
Oooooooh YES.
Haha.. no videos unfortunately 😅
😡👿👹
@@TomleyRCOh come on Phill 🤔 lol
@@TomleyRCbig W for putting a post about it🎉
You drove both courses exceptionally well mate, very proud of you. Ian is an excellent driver and a fantastic ambassador for Procrawler/Flatgekko but you made the most of the little Lowshido for sure. Gotta love a GCRC Caiman C1 chassis build. It's designed around the Element running gear to enable just this kind of thing to happen. It's always great to have you come over to BERCC, you're support is very much appreciated.
Hopefully, we'll see you next year. Take care, Sean.
Thanks Sean. You guys are awesome… I’ll be back next year for sure. I have a cunning plan 😅
You provide some of the most entertaining rc content with a realistic scope of how good a product is.
Hats off, proof you don’t need an expensive rig if you’re a excellent driver, well done.
That really does look intense! Well done
The opening mouth thumbnail is epic !!
If we were in olden times. You would be Tomley the Bard.
Greatness. Well deserved 👏
I love how your bushelo came together ❤. Great mini movie an congratulations 🎉 the trophy 🏆
Congratulations Phil, you're certainly too humble. You've got some advance techniques and with strategic thinking you took a self built, humble budget crawler to first place. Such a great watch.
Awesome Phil! When they go high you go LOW!
Low-Shido FTW
I've never really thought about getting into crawling but i loved watching every minute of that
Confident rig, competent driver, Phil wins the title now give him his fiver. Nice trophy to show your days work 👍👏
Absolutely love the crawling comp video's. Great job!!
Firstly, well done. Truly was a brilliant result on a hard pair of courses just shows what you can do. Cant wait for the re-match! Secondly big thanks to the organisers BERCC who put on an amazing event and for GCRC for Sponsoring the series. Great video of the whole event.
Agree… what a bunch of legends
The chassis you put on the crawler looks great and performed really well. The course built by the group looked great. I was trying to picture the effort it took to build the rocks you were running in Class 2. Getting all those big rocks in place took some real effort and thought. You drove exceptionally well. I know nothing about crawling, but the short wheel base seemed to be an advantage. I see more and more reviews that give positive grades to the Element line. You should feel great about your win. Congratulations.
Well done my man. Happy to see you have some success with a crawler.
Kicking names and taking arse. Well done!
Congrats sir ! It seems like crawling is your brightest side 🙂Crawling is underestimated by many hobby fans ços it is slow and boring . But all they're wrong. Crawling requires a bunch of skills, which not many of us have : On first place - razor sharp mind to choose thee right path thru the obstacles , to avoid roll offs, reverse manuvers, and at the same time to be fast enough on the coarse . Everyone can get a bully strong basher and make some donuts and noise on his backyard, or to speed up his rig to the limit and eventually crash it , but to be a good crawler pilot is a different "beer"🙂 Well done mate !
Yes, takes a fair bit of skill. Most people can jump off a ramp and land on the wheels.
Well done. The challenge is on for the next comp.
Good on ya Phil. Excellent job man.
Thanks Luke
Brilliant drive, well done 👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers mate
Great job, it's funny, you go out for shits n giggles then you do so well you think "holy crap, I have a real chance here" and then the pressure is on.
Well done mate. Great video. Great driving
Thanks Paul… certainly surprised myself 😅
Well done Phil! Cool chassis mods too.
You created a monster! Frankinshido! Well done Phil, that is the ultimate sleeper build. Looks harmless, but vicious like a Donkey. EeeHAAH!
What an awesome video, i have to be honest, the way you edited this together, the way you tell the story, brilliant, one of your best videos.
I hope this video does really well for you, its a great piece of cinematography!
Congratulations 🥳 dude, some epic driving 🦾
Cheers dude…. it’s was certainly a ‘Yes Mate’ moment 👌
Fantastic, Phil! Congrats!!! 😃
Really well done there!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Phil, youve always been #1 in my mind AND in my heart for both RC and dancing. I'm just glad you got other validation ( surely mine was enough)
That was some great driving under pressure. Congratulations Phil. Well deserved my friend 🙂🏆👍🏼👍🏼
Well done Phil. Its so hard to win a comp. Even harder to win again. Good luck. Great content
Well done Phil, it was a pleasure scoring your first run even if you did match my score 🤣
Haha… very kind of you. You didn’t even try to trip me over either 😅
🤣
Glad you had a good experience with GCRC, myself not so much.
Had a Treal gear fail after a few uses on my SCX6 and point blank refused to help or offer replacement, discount or contact Treal for me even after I sent a video of it breaking with zero abuse (I’ve since went back to standard gears and not had a problem) was definitely a manufacturer issue (I know Gareth doesn’t make them but was extremely disappointed with the lack of help) really wanted to like the GCRC brand but left a bad taste in my mouth.
Strange, this is the first time I’ve heard anything negative. Hopefully it was just a miss understanding 🤷🏼♂️
@@TomleyRC nobody was as surprised as much as me, to be fair, communication was instant, postage was essentially next day too. So Gareth’s service was impeccable…
He had just sealed the deal with Treal (Wendy possibly, name slips my mind, I blame it on my brain tumour 🤯) I had big plans for budget builds etc to work alongside GCRC.. then on second outing with the overdrive front gearing for the SCX6 (all shimmed, video on my channel) the gears stripped (again, video on my channel) I contacted Gareth simply asking for him to reach out to Wendy in case there was a manufacturing issue as this was the first run of the gears. He refused to do so 🤷♂️
Left a bitter taste as I was not expecting that reaction at all.
It got my back up, I took the hump.. Pity really as I’m an avid crawler fan and would have loved to have worked alongside him.
I had sang his praises prior to this.. and to be fair it’s the first time I’ve spoken about it since… (was almost 18 months ago)
Maybe I got him on a bad week, I just felt it wasn’t his call to decide on the quality issue I had and should have been forwarded to Treal.
Great job! Since you wanted to keep that bit of bumper, I probably would recommend using a heat gun and try to bend it forward just a bit to help the tires clear.
Cheers mate 🎉
🤘
I'm well chuffed for you 🤸♀️👍🏴
Man you were focusing hard 😂 great job
Congratulations on the win! 🙌🏻
Seeing the run in full, with added commentary was really interesting 🙂
Nice driving! I saw on Crawler Canyon that the Sendero SE lower shock parts and spring cups fit the other Element shocks so you can run the smaller springs. The SE spring pack is also pretty affordable since each pack comes with a pair of each spring rate
Great video amazing result well done some great driving
Thank you
Well done! Firm believer that a well setup mostly stock rig is competitive!
30 seconds in and i love it already, that intro is awesome !
Congratulations good job 👍 👍👍
Thank you
Well done Phil. Just goes to show you don’t need to spend big £££££ to do well in a scaler comp!🎉🎉
Congratulations Phil💪💪
Nice job Tomley!!!!! Way to kick ass mate
Thanks mate
Love the concentration face. Great content as always
Haha… it was tense!
@@TomleyRC You nailed it though. But couldn't not mention the face
19:08 Very well done Phil 🫡 Congratulations !!
By the way, I’m very impressed by your talent of creating your own rigs/cars, this isn’t the first time, you always got VERY good ideas and are capable to build your rigs very quickly.
It’s seriously impressive.
Pressure makes you f@ckin creative, efficient, and competitive.
I’m not surprised you did this second place at the dancing contest in the past !! 😄
BUT IT DOESN’T CHANGE THAT I UNSUBSCRIBE IF YOU DON’T SHARE THAT DANCE VIDEO.
Hahaha… thanks mate. I’m gonna disappoint so many people with no video 😅
@@TomleyRC NO WAYYYYY !!!!!……I stay subscribed just to be sure of that. 😆
With the music you used I thought I was watching DYC 🔥🔥🔥
Dartmouth Yacht Club? 😅
Nice driving!
Very nice. It really is amazing how just a couple small changes make such huge differences to the rig. I am in the middle of taking spare Scx10 parts and trying to make a belly dragger out of it. It's been fun so far... Great run out there man. Awesome work on the Bushido as well. :)
I was so shocked at how well it did
HEY!! rumor has it, (Scale Builders Guild) you are HERE in St. Johns????? I was shocked!!!!! If you need anything let me know. 😉I could bring you to some AWESOME crawling spots. close
Great job Tomley congratulations :D
Yeah Boyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, you go mate! Nice work Mr Tomley Sir.
What a beauty rig! Nice job piloting too
Well done Phil!
Cheers dude
2:54 a THX electric screwdriver !!!😮😍
Gotta use it carefully… it’s got some power haha
@@TomleyRC 😄 Georges Lucas approves.
Looks very good after the triming!
Nice job Phill, cool model 👍🏻✌🏻
If you're not giving Phil a like, subscribing, clicking the bell emoji, well why are you here? Every 👏 single 👏 ones 👏 of 👏 ya's 👏 NOW, NOW, NOW, it's free, painless and takes 2 seconds. Surely something you'd do for a champion like Phil Tomley, yeah?
really nice one!!
Well done and what a great video 👍🏻
Thank you 🙏
4:09 "it's the little things that please me" you hear that from your wife a lot there phil?
COME ON you KNOW I couldn't let THAT go by! hahahahah
All the time…. Size isn’t everything though ay
@@TomleyRC It's not the size of the boat, it's the skill of the skipper! 🙂
Kudos man!! Well done! Nice chassis
NO NO IT LOOKS VERY SICK NICE NICE
Well done 😀
Hola Amigo Tomley me gusta como se ve este samurai muy bonito y camina muy bien saludos y gracias
That looks sickkk. Esp the green wheels and side decals.
Nice win Phil!
Thanks mate
As someone also called Gareth Curtis and a life long RC fan I do find these vids pretty funny. Might have to drop my namesake a line 😅
nice job mate, really proud of you. very ironic timing considering I was about to buy a BUSHIDOOOO for a rental rig for the friend visiting this week from out of state
I really like it
A brilliant reward for brilliant car! Great work Phil i love your videos and they are only getting better. 😃
Refreshments expected if we gotta watch fools dance . Bigger, better ,appears solid. 👍
Well done mate, well deserved. Love your videos and your content, always watching out for new stuff. Well done.
I'm looking to buy a crawler again that peaty awesome.
👌that's wicked cool man, the best stuff happens without trying lol.
Yes, I think that’s it… I didn’t go there to win
well done your an excellent driver
can you please do a video on the tamiya hornet i think that would be sick
Bushido!
Should be titled
“Me being a badass!”
Well done. Very entertaining and informative to watch 😊
Nice driving 🏆
Nice video . Can you feel the positivity. Yes 😊👊🏻💯👍🔥😝
Yeah that short wheelbase helps, just like in full size.. I had a Toyota about the same year as yours (Except lifted on 33s and the 22R motor)
Out 4wheelin I got stuck in a bog/swamp,
My buddy that was with me had a stock Sammi on smaller than stock tires and he was literally driving circles around me with water spilling over his doors (deep baby)
By the end of the month I had myself a samurai (the first of many)
Congratulations buddy
Well played sir 👍
Cheers mate
Awesome well done sir.
Another great build my friend thank you for sharing your videos with us
Very nice 🔥🔥🔥
Well done, that little crawler looked great on the trail.
Great job

Really compelling viewing
Haha nice! I love your life dude! Looks like you know how to have fun!
Congratulations on the win Phil! Really enjoyed watching this..
One of nicest RC videos I've watched for a while 👍👍👍😎😎🤓 Well done on all counts,❤❤❤
Nice one Phil!! Might have to invest in a crawler. Never saw the appeal before this. I was glued to the screen. My epoxy went off! Ps. Defo looking for singing competition video. 😂
