    Anyone interested in comps should be aware of the RCMCCA. The RC Micro Crawler Competition Association has created a standardized and accessible rule set that is free to use.

      Thanks for sharing. Cool to see this being attempted. Their classes to me aren’t friendly to new people getting involved. The class 0 is too hard and not fun for long. Class 1 jumps right to what we would consider class 3 in our league with brushless motors. There should be a budget friendly class that allows somewhat competitive trucks that don’t have to compete against full tricked out brushless rigs. Staying in class 0 is painful because they don’t handle well. It’s also assumed that these are 1/24 or SCX24 trucks, but not really clear except I class 0 because of the ESC restriction?
      I’ll keep my eye on it, but don’t plan to use them for anything I do at the moment. Currently they have 3 clubs using their rules.

    The comp and the hang out is always great at Reaction RC. We are lucky to have a great local hobby shop and great community. I love the shot of my truck at 04:10, that sticker shaved 5 points off my score.

      Very cool! It’s awesome to have a place to play! Better to not make it be raids and designated paths. The beauty of this is that it’s different every week by moving gates.

    Huge Brat fan BTW. I’ve been rolling that same body for a while on a build of mine. Great to see another one.

    I really wish there were any place to crawl here in the central plains, we have a Hobbytown with a 24 course, but honestly it is a cardboard and spray foam Clusterf@ck. I have to drive 400 miles to get to anything resembling a real competition, it's the only real downside to this hobby where I live in the smack dab middle of the 48.

    Don't they make tiny winches for these cars?

    • @CCxRC
      @CCxRC  Год назад +1

      They do, but it's much slower and the course don't have an area to winch to. We use external winches to simulate having someone with you that has a winch to help you.
