I'm only 12 and i am really starting to get akala's content i would never have come across him if it wasn't for my uncle who is 32 didn't tell me about it and i'm really happy he did akala has opened my eyes to bigger things than just 1 direction and i think there needs to be more people that watch his content! Love his thing of knowledge is power aswell!

I'm 20 and watched him for ages but grew up in a household similar to his, where knowledge was PUSHED on a madting. Read man and speak and listen to people around you. That's how he's gained knowledge and you can too. I'm 100% Akala would say the same. I think the point in a lot of what he says is that this information is out there for us to all learn from, it's just gonna be feed to you - you gotta go find it. But it's out there. The truth is open source.
I got the same thing as he's describing where you can't ask mans for things, but I don't know if it's pride. Sleeping hungry at night and struggling materialistically as a child provided me with experience in being poor in relation to those around me, and I was able to be okay with that. Even though I'm doing well right now all thanks to ALLAH, if I was to go back to being broke, God willing I would be able to hack it better than people that hadn't grown up the same way. I would want my children to grow up struggling, cause going through hardships lets you see the reality of the material things.

I legit lol'd at the reference to the butler. I saw the movie cause I was doing it at history at the time but even then I felt that it was a silly concept
