I loved Balboa park when I was in San Diego. I live in a walkable culture in Seattle. I miss my son, Samuel, his wife, Heather, and my sweet little grandson Sammy who just turned 8!! He lives 2 miles from the ocean!! I live 2-4 hours from the ocean. This was so lovely to follow your adventure!! Little Italy has lots of great food!! The planes fly so low!! Underbelly has the most delicious Ramen!!

Misty the way you win on slots you have to be a lurker watch someone dumping their money into the slot when they leave to get more money jump on their machine i played over 3 hours once in New Mexico on a roll of quarters probably won over 3 hundred but my niece lost it all because I let her grab my quarters to play but that's love of family plus we missed tornadoes further towards the east in Texas and Oklahoma
If you have to have a lay over, Vegas would be a good one! There is no way I could do the freeways. I would be frozen in panic !!!! The water was so pretty. I was surprised it was so blue at the shore.

Misty, I live in Florida you need to come to the oldest city in America, St. Augustine. You would love it! I'm with you about grave yard's and thiers is spectacular. Also they have several haunted tours to choose from. The Ponce De Leon fountain of youth is also there. You would really love it.❤
I love the Disney Cruise ships! I helped with marketing materials for them. It was so exciting to work on one that was about to launch. It is a bigger deal than I understood and there is all kinds of traditions around new ships.

I spent weeks in San Diego every year for meetings. Ironically, my phone lock picture is a rainbow going into the water taken at Point Loma.
