In this video I tried to beat calamity with only fractured ark components. The fractured ark is calamity's version of the Zenith, being powerful endgame weapon that combines many other weapons you collect over the course of your playthrough. Where I've been (to anyone that really cares) -
I recorded this right after my last video and finished in about a week. After that I was so pumped about editing that I got about a minute in, and then I had another idea to play true melee with no armor, which went pretty well I beat it in a few days. And THEN Loaf wanted to do a clicker class playthrough with me, and all this terraria playing, and video editing to do kind of overwhelmed me so I just sort of stopped. I'm a little burnt out of terraria content, at least for a while. This video had so much love and passion in the first few minutes, but all of that just disappears after the 5 minute mark because I just wanted to get this out. The video has been lingering at the 6 minute mark for around 3 months, and I only grinded to finish it the last couple days because this friggin loaf kid was catching up. Another important thing is the old fortnite map came back. I know this sounds really stupid, but I enjoy fortnite and I always have. I really could care less about the map tbh (i started in season 3 so don't call me a newgen) I just wanted to play with the guns and all my friends were playing so it was even more fun idk I like fortnite, maybe a fortnite video at some point. But yeah other than that I don't actually know what else I was doing for the past few months, school was NOT an issue like what everyone else says when they disappear. anyway idk how to stop rambling and how to end this so comment LOAFSUX237 if you see this and thank you for reading ig see yall in another 3 months

Here is some advice for infernum twins. Have as much speed as you can because it is crucial for later in the fight. Ther is actually 2 paths through the fight. If you kill one, the other becomes enraged BUT spazmatisms enraged state is easier from what I have seen because you just have to run from it while it chases you spinning with cursed flames around it. Just try it you will see.

The ark line covers most of progression in calamity, I guess the only hard part would be killing the DoG with the ark of the elements, but it’s not that much off tier.

honestly I think its more than fair enough to play this on death mode. as long as you 1: have a way of dealing any damage in any way and 2: are crazy enough, you can beat any difficulty with whatever you want. and the terraria community just do be a bit toxic sometimes with demanding people to do whatever they were doing on increasingly higher difficulties.
and quite frankly I think a lot of the people who are demanding other people play crazy challenges have no actual conception of how draining it can be. like I played master malice mode when it first came out (it was harder in its first version and got nerfed a bit before it was removed) and just playing that normally was actual hell.
Honestly compared to every other terraria youtuber, you did this video well, it's nice and short and only contains the parts that are entertaining and the parts that aren't too entertaining you kept nice and short, good job
Ark of the ancients is my favorite calamity weapon, I can't be the only one. It's use is so fun and it's amazing for pretty much every boss after moon lord up to dog

As someone who ritualy plays infernum it's a shame you didnt go all the way with it, the fights are hard as hell but theyre not unfsir in my opinion. Its just a case of learning them, highly recommend rematching them!

Started another run at calamity with two friends and decided to go melee (I thought this was the most boring class) but I’ve been having so much fun playing melee, the ark is my current weapon and the biome blade is so fun to use.
REAL i am a true melee class HATER, but with how pretty and fun the weapons are in calamity, i give it a pass!

I will say this is pretty easy to do, even in death mode. Each time I play melee, i almost only use Fractured Ark, Ark of the Ancients, Elements, and Cosmos (Infernum was hard as fuck to beat, don't do it if it's your first time with Calamity)
Honestly I think Infernum is actually fairer and more balanced than Calamity.
Skeletron is debatable. In Infernum he doesn't seem as glued to your screen.

@@michaelp.6520 i will prove it. Get a full set of lead or higher armor, Amideus’s Spark, Thorns potion (optional), and a gold or enchanted sword. Place down ten minecart tracks on a flat surface and hammer the ends twice so you bounce off of them. It helps to have an upgraded minecart like a chest or gem tier. They go faster, so the contact damage is higher. Now all you gotta do is go full speed, bouncing back and forth, then summon Desert Scourge. If he spawns on the left or right side, it’s an instant win. He swims towards you and each segment gets hit by the minecart which deals 50-70 damage per hit based on speed. First pass should deal at least 3-4k damage, and the second pass kills it.

11:30 Ah yes, i remember when i got to that point, i got killed so many times, not because the golem was hard, but because the Temple decided to generate a small ass boss room, making some attacks literally impossible to dodge.
