  • In Today's video we have super clean low mileage CTS-V2 in the shop. We were hesitant to modify it, but what the customer wants they get! We also find out much a Kong Ported 2650 makes over the stock blower.

    Another beautiful badass V2!! 😍 Pump 93 numbers are always the most impressive numbers cause that's what 90% percent run! Anybody can make power with race gas and e85. Almost 1000hp on 93 is insane!! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲💪💪💪

      Imo trying to push a vehicle to the highest possible numbers on 93 really isn't that smart. This is where alot of guys run into trouble trying to get too aggressive for the octane ran. People put 10-20k into a build but cheap out on fuel wanting to stick with 93 lol. I see what you're saying but at the same time I don't understand guys pushing things on 93 for the sake of just being more convenient or whatever. I'd rather have an octane cushion myself at the very least boostane/93. Just my .02

    Beautiful this makes me excited for my build, curious what crank/rods and pistons are in the engine. I’m looking into a smeding dart 427 they use their brand crank and rods priced at 6950 short block assembled

    The only thing that would make this car better is if were OBM. And maybe a wagon. Super clean and a ton of power and perfectly driveable on the street. Congratulations to the owner and great job LMP!

    @Latemodelperformance Did these boost monster heads have TI or coated stainless valves?
    Was the rear gear changed?
    Nice build, but I truly think with 1100hp under his right foot. The owner will be very tempted for some roll races.

    Hey I was wondering if you could offer an explanation on why such a large flame, assuming from the meth, on the passenger side exhaust? Seemed a little strange that it wasn't more balanced on both sides.

      It’s literally random, i have like 10 clips of it shooting flames a bunch of different ways, the car has a x-pipe so it really just depends on what path the fuel takes through the exhaust

      Yes, we do not use interchillers. We have had better luck with ice tanks.

      That’s what it seems like, you’d think it would pick up more than that.

      It made more power efficiently than the LSA would’ve on same size pulley and 2650’s run cooler as well not needing to spin as much a LSA would. They’re better top end blowers than a LSA

      @@Tyee2 The kong 2650 as cast is already pretty optimized. Not much left on the table beyond that.
