@ The 8th caution. I think you guys were critisizing the driver way too much. The corner man wasn't doing his job, and there was a complete blindspot there because of the wall. From the drivers point of view, it was completely clear. By the team he had already spun around, cars had come flying around the corner at speeds so fast, that no one had time to avoid it.
I mean, I'm not going to jump on the suicide bomber PC car N°87 aswell, but look the shit he does and listen what the commentators are explaining at about 1:26 in this broadcast! They are talking for minutes about the fact a corner worker is standing there, warning him to do not turn around and blocking so the whole racetrack!!! Incredible really!!
Regarding the incident around 1:26:00, were there no yellow flags waving to mark stalled vehicles on the track? I also thought there were spotters or something *on the radio* to help drivers know when safe to get back on the track. Perhaps the radio bit is not a thing except for near the pit; could be mixing different racing series' practices.
the flag point is before the corner, out of the view of the camera. this was just a dumb move from the driver of the spun car. This is actually a punishable offence.
1:15:51 "What the heck are you guy thinking." I'm basically saying the same thing. 2nd time someone tried to get going instead of waiting for traffic to pass
just watching the youtube of the 12 hours...what outrageous carnage. these drivers do need a simple HPDE course on how the heck to drive on a race track... these drivers simply do not understand that the corner worker decides if, and when, you may re-enter the track after an incident
If I'm nit picking. All the work and you've not cleaned underneath parts like front and rear subframe etc. Surely there's someone in Aus doing dry ice cleaning?
Glad I didn't buy a ticket to sebring. Still if I was the Safety Car Sponsor I'd be pretty happy. A whole bunch of mistakes made by drivers who should know better.
Sam Rowland basic common sense- one of the basic things with racing is NOT to enter the track dangerously. in australia, all new drivers need to do one race meeting on a flag point, and they learn the basic things needed.
Before watching this, I read a few comments!! So congrats to the best there is: Sam Rowland!! You obviously know everything and can read racing situations constituing unnecessary danger better than anyone!! The pther people here are all right. The PC drivers are a bunch of kamikaze rich ass idiots, where you have, as a normally brained person, to ask yourself what they are doing on a racetrack!!! I'm a race fan and a sportscar maniac since I'm 5. I'm 30 now and didn't ever get the chance to do this, but why do these idiots get the official license to go racing, if they're downlike dangerous?? Listen to the commentators, THEY ARE ALL RIGHT!!! Incredible bad racing and stupid reacting in the modern prototype racing!! Throw the whole PC class out and think of people capable of balancing between right and wrong decisions!! GOD!! Awful!!!!

killawombat75 running less marshals than they have had before in previous years, and they do not allow marshals on the track during local yellows
So glad to hear Memo Gidley's voice on the coverage!

Que terrible lo que pasa en las carreras

Andrew Marriott said that Ricky Taylor popped out of the car like a cork out of a bottle.
lol it seems like half of the stupid wrecks are caused by PC drivers...
12 hour race and some of these guys can't even wait 30 seconds to rejoin the race.. novices
BRING BACK ALMS!!!
half of them needs to be banned from racing and sent to driving lessons
And of course you could do soooo much better......HA
