Thnx! I cannot select the ''Trans' effect anymore.. just a small list of effects.. Any idea? Also the 'Filter' button on the DJJ-RB does nothing anymore.. thanks in advance!
I dont know if I am the only one, but I utilize the spiral to create a build up, obviously not very harsh, but I start around 16 beats before and when the song goes down I set it off. I was shocked when you said that you didnt use it for the build ups

Is there a way you can listen to the fx your using on the track through your headphones before playing it out loud if that makes sense?
In this case, with Pioneer DDJ400 you can apply the FX in channel 1/2/ or Master, so if you apply the fx in a channel that is playing a song with the headphones prelistening option, you can hear the fx without being played loud/recorded etc

@@crownmrbrown7701 you may aswell use it, it’s good to know to beat match but when doing a live performance use the technology that comes with the decks to maximise sound quality.
@@crownmrbrown7701 when im really worried about messing up i secretly use hot cues with quantize so I can pretend to jump cut to next song like a boss.

We can only use the first row of the effects ? We cant go to the next roll from the controller buttons ? It has to be from the computer cursor ?

is there anyway to change the standard filter sound on ddj rb? I love traktor settings you could choose a&h style, which is more subtle, this pioneer filter sound is harsh as fuck..

I just bought a DDJ 800. Seems like my color fx and beat fx don’t work on every song especially dub echo and filter. Is that normal?

Sadly not, it's a feature that Serato users often miss when transferring over to Rekordbox

You can change the pad mode at the bottom of the screen when using Rekordbox

Hey man . I have a question I’m new to all this mixing . And I’m trying to capture a piece that I want to use a sample. But when I’m trying to get the piece as a sample. It says I can’t do it with live music playing but the music is currently stopped can you please help me on this
You have to set a loop on the part you want to use as a sample. If you then click on the little scissors icon that part will turn blue and you can drag it with your mouse to the sampler. After that you can further edit the sample.

Hey Jamie, is there an effect that's a "reverse delay"? What I mean is an effect that drops the #2 & #4 beats a half beat BEFORE instead of after. Most Hip Hop & R&B DJ's usually perform this manually. If so, what's it called?
How would that even work? What, so you press an FX button and software decides to go half a second in the past to play that beat sooner than it's supposed be played?

Hey I was wondering how do you sort the BPM in order when key I have in order as well. I know you can do this in Serato and Virtual DJ can it be done Rekordbox. Thanks
As far as I know you can only sort by one category at a time
Only way is to use keylock then organise tracks by bpm
Make playlists for different bpm ranges of music for e.g. one folder for drum & bass and one for house or techno, that's what I used to do but I have traktor now and that arranges your music by bpm and key if you wish.
@Crossfader, how do you managed to swlitch colors of your drops?
If you mean have the waveform in RGB then this is a setting in rekordbox software. Click the gear icon to go to preferences and you can change waveform colour from blue to rgb in the view settings.

Help !!! Why when I save my cue points they are working fine on my XDJ’s at home but everywhere else I play they are gone ???? 😩
Make sure you're exporting them properly, other than that maybe have auto hot cue load on otherwise youd have to hit the "call" button before they will load/work

What controller do you have
2x CDJ1000mk3 and one DJM 450 Mixer.. everything works perfectly with rekordbox but i want the sync function inside rekordbox.. there simply needs to be an option inside rekordbox to active the sync function.. can you help? @@humblebeats3391
@@Alex-eh4ot In the rekordbox software just see just to the left of the Trim knob, You will find an option called BEAT SYNC.

I strongly believe these are paid reviews. It was 1 minute and 10 secs before he remotely started addressing anything related to the topic. TLDR; select the FX with the mouse if you have a DDJ 400, use the On/Off button to turn in on (The most crucial part that he said nothing about).
