6:10 Dude used a smart queue, and pointed it out but never actually turned up the fader on that side of the deck so that we could hear what was playing? Could somebody explain to me why?
I cannot switch to keyboard mode when holding shift + Hot Cues. I mean it shows like the panel of "keyboard mode" but all the pads are light off and no change on rekordbox. Is there any way to fix it? I have to swich manually from the macbook. (DDJ FLX4)
would hold on to it if everything works as expected-also depends if you like the look of the FLX4 I'd say, to me it's nice having something new but not needed if you already have a 400
it’s pretty much the same, if anything the flx4 is materially a downgrade but has the extra smart fader and cfx feature, but if you don’t like how they work like i don’t, it’s not really an upgrade from the 400 i would just go to the 800 or flx10 if you’re going to upgrade
Stay with the 400 bud what's the reason you want to change ? If you wan to upgrade rather do a pro dj deck. I messed up my deck ddj400 nobs couldn't even do effects and was very close to upgrade to the FLX4 but not worth it in my opinion so I fixed my deck myself instead and is like new hahahah looking forward to upgrade to the new FLX10 tho now thats a upgrade in my opinion of course.
What is the timeline on product releases from ATheta (Pioneer) in regards to CDJs. I’m wanting to buy some decks, was thinking of treating myself to some top of the range equipment (3000s) but, don’t want to go out of my way to do so if a new collection is about to drop, making the 3000s cheaper etc. please share what you might anticipate / know.
How did you change the beat effect on FX2? If i try this with the hardware buttons it only changes the FX1 slot and its so frustrating I cant get it to work.
Learn the skill of beat matching if you want to really master your craft. Sync is a tool that has its uses but to rely on it constantly is lazy & will stunt your progress as a DJ.
The first 6 transitions were ... meh 😄 too much high frequencies / too much noise in the fx / next tracks too abruptly introduced Flanger should be banned 😖😄 (But I know it's a showcase 😄) Sometimes you hear something like 3:35 - 3:36. is this a youtube video issue or notebook/flx4 failure? 🤔 destroys the illusion of a solid hardware/software The last one was bueno 🎉
You have here a whole style of djing created by nerds in their bedroom that nobody who actually goes out to events of this music care about.. even hot cues in this type of music is pointless.. nearly every event i go to people just mix in intros to a part of the outgoing track that doesnt cause a clash thats it... you get some eq swapping nothing much else. Thats true for the tech house melodic techno techno disco and funky house minimal and deep house events ive been to. In short nobody actually mixes like this in the the clubs and people are still having a great time

I mix stuff kind of like this and it receives pretty well, granted more sparingly. You sound like you’re projecting, or just haven’t experienced good results yet. Just because you haven’t, doesn’t mean other people haven’t.

Lol why does that matter at all. Mix still sounds good so if people want to go and do more complicated mixes then why not.
