@@Generictingz95nope it’s not, first of all Well, I'm sure Apple uses an oleophobic coating that makes your finger slide across the screen + they don't use alcohol on the screen because this coating will be killed, after you remove the coating your screen will feel like real glass

Probably doesn’t hurt giving it another wipe down as long as the cloth used is absolutely clean. Otherwise you’ll just put dust particles onto it that’ll highly increase the chance of dust showing up under the tempered glass post install.

the screen protectors now a days come with a plastic case that aligns the screen protector for you so it’s super easy and perfect - there’s no need for these stores to do this anymore unless you have a lot of money and just like bugging employees lol
Literally never had a screen protector come with the tool to fit it, also the employees will have done loads so are highly likely to do it perfectly, no point spending 20-50 on a screen protector to then fuck it up and need another one.
@@eirebhoy132on Amazon they’re literally $8-20 and come with a tool. Idk how you can fuck it up with a tool. I’ve never had a screen protector in recent years without the tool.

The at home kit of the belkin screen protector shown in this video comes with that tray. Costs the same amount
I’ve used both the machine and the tray. Becuase the phone goes face up in the tray, you end up spending an extra 10 mins to remove dust. Machine is way easier. I can put an screen protector on in less than 2 minutes, under 1 min on a good day.
There was a speck of dust next to the earpiece. I would’ve immediately asked for a redo.

I’ve got to say, from a long time user of cheap screen protector, that Apple kind is literally like the phone glass itself in feeling and visibility. And you do get a warranty with that.
It’s just not comparable to others.
bro just buy 5$ screen protector it's the same
🧢
Literally any tempered glass screen protector feels and looks like the phone glass itself….now if you’re using a film screen protecter, matte/anti-glare screen protector, privacy screen protector, then you’ll notice a difference.
@@Generictingz95nope it’s not, first of all Well, I'm sure Apple uses an oleophobic coating that makes your finger slide across the screen + they don't use alcohol on the screen because this coating will be killed, after you remove the coating your screen will feel like real glass
it's literally a belkin screen protector. it's third party. not everything is better because it comes from the apple store stop meat riding jeez
@@not-d3m well yeah but you’re missing the point. The fact that you can walk in there, get stuff that are top notch and trusted, then walk away not giving a crap and knowing you got quality stuff is the experience and the comfort of being an Apple consumer.

“fully automatic adhesion “
Where's the factory manager?
Tip guys you can skip the cleaning of the screen if you just peal the sticker the phone comes with while phone is upside then proceed with putting the screen protector on. the screen is never cleaner than when you peal the sticker it comes with off.
Probably doesn’t hurt giving it another wipe down as long as the cloth used is absolutely clean. Otherwise you’ll just put dust particles onto it that’ll highly increase the chance of dust showing up under the tempered glass post install.
I personally use an alcohol wipe, even if the phone is new.
Use air duster after peeling the factory white sticker, then quickly apply screen protector. I just did it and it turned out perfect. Just be careful not to blast the speakers that’s not good to do obviously.
I’ve been using ultraglass for my fleet of 75 phones for the past 6ish months. Pretty great and also do the dust exclusion thing. They’re pricey tho, $30 for two. They don’t seem to break as easy as all the ones I used previously.
$49.95 just for a screen protector when you can buy it a lot cheaper and probably better ones for a lesser amount? That's truly an Apple moment.
That’s a Belkin screen protector. Berlin literally sells them for 50
For real the meaning for a screen protector is to absorb the kinetic energy from the fall

I was on the same boat. But what most people don’t know is that if the application isn’t perfect, the Apple employee would put on another one for free. The guy who did mine went through two protectors simply because the first two “didn’t feel right”.
that's nice but if he didn't do it right the first time then of course he should do it again. Not really anything extra you're getting there.

The cheaper ones break much easier so you get what you pay for. But I agree $50 is overpriced there are really solid ones that have full coverage and curve around the edges for about $25. But at this point I would recommend Hydrogel protectors they are great and don't add too much bulk.
