I love that having one of the fastest diesels on the planet isn't enough. But you spend the time to dial in something as insignificant as pilot quantity because it has to idle like a stocker too.

@@Jandoranis I completely agree. Banks did the best job I’ve ever seen in their S10. That’s was many years ago and should have been the benchmark required to be met from then on. Big thanks goes out to all the tuners that encouraged it by selling “smoke tunes”.

You don't get diesel rotaries. There was an experimental motor built in the 70's by Rolls Royce but that was a massive marine engine if I remember correctly.
I imagine if you made some custom rotors and crank the compression required could be achieved, I mean Japanese people are building robotic exoskeleton suits and Richard Browning has developed a jet pack system the Flys almost like Iron Man but you say diesel rotary is a no. Hmmmm...

I have no idea how Diesel tuning works but I love technical details.
Much the same as Gas tuning. Burn more fuel.

@Bob Stork not quite. Top Fuel funny cars run 1000ft in under 3.8 at 330mph. This diesel truck is running 3.9 over 660 ft at maybe 200 mph.
