    The deck project is looking good as a NuteakVT dealer ,When the project is done you will love it and its easy maintenance for many years it will get a bit darker over the years, cleaning is just a matter of a good mild soap(environmental) scrub down,It feels great on bare feet and if a bit warm under the sun a bucket of water will cool it down and stay cool for quite some time
    Well done a good job and enjoy Thanks

      Us neither! We feel we've both aged over this past month 100x faster than usual. Can't imagine waiting till 70 years old being actually retired and doing this.

    • @Josef_R
      @Josef_R 6 лет назад +2

      If someone had to wait til 70 to retire, they did a whole lot of something wrong. I'm wrapping up 30 years at age 55 with plenty of money (80% of my income for life and a big pile of cash as a loyalty bonus) to buy the boat I need and still be comfortable. That's a civil servant's pay. I had no specific skills and a 4 year useless BA. So if anyone really wanted to apply themselves, there's no reason to retire at an old age. Doing it while you're young is great, but it's not the definitive way to go. There's pros and cons to both our situations.

    have u guys considered over drilling you holes for the track bolts and filling them with thickened epoxy, then redrilling them for further protection of the core....it looks like that would be your last opportunity for water intrusion to the core, great vids, six about all the rain, but that’s the price you pay for living in paradise.......sail on.....

    I really admire your commitment to and enthusiasm for this massive under-taking.
    A suggestion for future tool purchases would be: 1.) a Japanese double-edge pull-saw ($10); and 2.) a DeWalt Random Orbital Sander ($75). The pull-saw is incredibly efficient at cutting wood, pvc & plastic by hand. An orbital sander is 4-5 times faster than a jitterbug vibrating sander.
    Adding these 2 items to your basic toolbox (i.e. cordless drill w/bits, standard and metric socket sets, a few quality screwdrivers-wrenches & pliers) will allow you to handle most projects.
    If or when your budget allows, a Dremel Rotary Tool ($100) is also a handy universal power tool for working in tight places (especially if you need to cut light metal).
    I hope this boat brings you everything you want from a new/different lifestyle. Good luck.
