I have NEVER seen a couple of folks working as hard and as happily as you two! You are astonishing, a credit to yourselves and wonderfully engaging. I am so impressed. Nicholas
I think Kelsey works harder.......
Its been great to watch the both of you work toward a common goal! You are a tenacious couple...thanks for the great videos! Looking forward to seeing your adventures at sea as things unfold.
You guy's are living the live. I try not to be envious of other's, but man you not only get to wake up water side, but you get to wake up next to a gorgeous woman. One day I will have this, in due time.
You are 2 very hard working individuals, what an inspiration! Thanks for sharing!
Great work progress! I am impressed with your determination and detailing of a complex project! Great job!, looks good.
2242 screws Ru! You guys are doing a great job! Really admire your work ethic, and openness about how the learning curve is to getting into jobs you’ve never done before. Git out on the water!
You kids are simply amazing! Your patience is unbelievable, but all of these efforts will pay off with a beautifully repaired decking! Worth all of your efforts? If thinks so then it is!
Thanks for this video. If I ever get a sailboat you guys will have taught me much about "boat projects". Glad to see your progress and I adore your attitude towards it all!
Your getting it done, cant wait to see the fishedproduct ! You guys are some hard workers, need more people like you to live the dream !
That finished half looks so good! Can’t wait to see the Finished deck
That looks amazing. I have to say I didn't expect that the synthetic to look so good.
I found your channel by complete accident so glad i did. And i just binged watched all your content. Sailing the seas wow what a dream thing to do.
Always been a fan of minimalist lifestyle. I was looking at rural property here in Australia. Now looking at boats.
Awesome!! Please keep us posted on your adventure & let us know if we can help in any way :)
Hmm...721 screws and multiple blisters EARNED taking them out!
Well done, and like we used to say when I was in the Navy; "no one ever drown in their own sweat."
Bravo Zulu to you both!
You guys work your butts off! Well done...you will really be satisfied and thrilled with the finished product! All the best from Melbourne Australia.
The deck project is looking good as a NuteakVT dealer ,When the project is done you will love it and its easy maintenance for many years it will get a bit darker over the years, cleaning is just a matter of a good mild soap(environmental) scrub down,It feels great on bare feet and if a bit warm under the sun a bucket of water will cool it down and stay cool for quite some time
Well done a good job and enjoy Thanks
What a huge job. Can't wait to see the final result.
You are both GREAT workers.
Love you guys so much! Your guys awesome and huge inspiration 🤙🏼 love the videos. Kelsey you did amazing on the templetes of the deck and both of you are such hard workers! My second guess has to 1,755 screws 😬 hopefully that’s a good guess! Really excited to see more videos and many adventures to come!🌬 🌊⛵️🌊🌬🏝
When it rains it pours! That deck is looking so good though. You kids are hard workers. I love Roo moving from spot to spot in the time lapse. Too Cute!
that was pretty special. willing you through the rough times guys.
You guys were working so hard I had to take a nap after watching that episode. She’s taking shape!
Great job, guys! Love watching your videos. keep them coming !
Enormous work, amazing workers! 👍🏻 almost done ⛵️
Rue is, clearly, the brains and muscle on the operation... : P Ya'll are great - incredible team work : ) ...!
Kids a slave driver! Has us pulling 16 hour days with no pay!
WOW. That's a lot of work, but I'm sure the result will be worth it in the end. Surely something to be proud of for sure!
Haveing rebuilt 3 boats myself I have the greatest empathy for what you two are enduring to make your dreams come true. My guess is 2134 screw. Thanks for sharing
Tarmac Drifter 3 boats! 1 has been plenty for us. Although we have grown to really enjoy working with our hands and tackling big projects. Thanks for following the journey 🙂

Brutal couple of weeks! Well done guys, looks like the pain will be well worth it!
My golly gosh goodness! that was a lot of progress done!
1320 screws. Also, I am VERY impressed with your level of ambition on this project. It's very inspiring to watch.
Looks great guys. Been lots of fun watching you work. But then again I love watching others work. Can't wait to see the final results.BTW my guess is around 1158 screws. Have fun
2501 screws. Awesome job guys, a lot of hard work that is paying off bigtime. It is looking great.

1800 screws!

Hi from Scotland. Winter maintenance on mine looks a little colder than for you guys. Huge respect for taking on that deck. Our entry - 2565
You are doing a fantastic job - well done. I think you need to take those tracks up and sort out the sealing of it to prevent future troubles.
Keep up the good work! I’m tired just watching :) 2674 screws!! Can’t wait to see you guys set sail!
Looks great guys!
Very impressed by your hard work, its looking great, keep it up. 1375 screws.
Wow! What a woman! You must be a good guy cause she's no fool. You guys are lucky to have found each other. Fair winds.
2644 screws.. The boat is going to be awesome when you two are done, and i can't wait to see it sailing.. Peace!!
It’s looking great! 4,230 screws
Fantastic progress.
1301 Screws! Keep up the great work guys. I love watching your videos!
Coming up fantastic! Wouldn't mind seeing detail ( in normal time in other words) on how you cut to the templates and what's the process for bedding down the synthetic teak.
You guys have done a mountain of work. It will be worth it. Love the videos.
Hi Guys. Great Vlogs. Love your personalities. Will watch with much interest in the next coming months. Good sailing guys.
Well done guys, You'll definitely appreciate the hard work you put into Lucy, she's yours now, so you should feel proud about owning her and having her look pretty :D Keep up the great work, and thank you for sharing your experience. You've inspired me to start saving for a boat of my own... I'm always glad when I get a notification on my phone that you published a new video, cause it lets me and a lot of your viewers take a mini vacation and live out our dreams through you. So thank you for the content and keep up the great work!!!! :D
Oh and I'm guessing 1252 screws!
Good work yall.
Looks fantastic!
What an awesome couple, I enjoy your videos so much, you guys are an inspiration. Live aboard has been a dream of mine for years, but up here in BC it’s a little tougher with our colder climate. Keep up the great work. Say hi to Rue
ok, awesome job on the boat and filming. We love you guys. and rue too. We are also going to guess 1871 screws lol. Keep it up, cant wait for the next section.
Very good work, you are an inspiration...!!!
2100 screws total. Your perseverance is impressive. The deck leaks from the track holes are so sad/funny! But for folks that have camped across America in a pup tent I guess you can handle it! Clearly there are no free rides for a teak deck! Cheers Warren.
That project looks insanely hard! Good on two two for taking it head on!! My screw guess is 1,212 thanx 4 sharing :)
1,370 screws ... I must say, I admire your energy to take on such a big project!
I'm going with a revised total of 2,312 screws. You're always going have issues doing a project of that magnitude yourselves. You guys are doing a great job of keeping your head in the game and mushing on. Fair Winds guys
Looking at it now I'd have to say at least 1350 screws.... and you guys are doing an awesome job.... keep it up... love your videos!
989 screws. have been inspired by your channel and working towards my own sailing dreams.
You made a great job
Nice job kids. Not sure at my age I would have tackled all that. Very impressed! PEACE OUT! Guessing 1,300 screws
Us neither! We feel we've both aged over this past month 100x faster than usual. Can't imagine waiting till 70 years old being actually retired and doing this.
If someone had to wait til 70 to retire, they did a whole lot of something wrong. I'm wrapping up 30 years at age 55 with plenty of money (80% of my income for life and a big pile of cash as a loyalty bonus) to buy the boat I need and still be comfortable. That's a civil servant's pay. I had no specific skills and a 4 year useless BA. So if anyone really wanted to apply themselves, there's no reason to retire at an old age. Doing it while you're young is great, but it's not the definitive way to go. There's pros and cons to both our situations.
Looking great guys. 2,387 screws
Awesome job guys....
I love your videos....
Go Big boys... go big...
Thanks for all.
832 you two are so impressive. Thanks for posting. Sorry to see that the evening off turned into leaky deal.
have u guys considered over drilling you holes for the track bolts and filling them with thickened epoxy, then redrilling them for further protection of the core....it looks like that would be your last opportunity for water intrusion to the core, great vids, six about all the rain, but that’s the price you pay for living in paradise.......sail on.....
2598 screws. That is a ton of work and a huge project to tackle on your own. Looking good so far.
I'm guessing 1786 screws. It's not always sunshine and sundowners. You guys are troopers, keep up the great videos!
1645 screws, you guys are awesome!
I'm sticking with 2138, Great job you two.
1350 screws , I’m impressed with your work. Good luck!
Great video, ah, the trials and tribulations of a boat!
Totally going to be worth all the hard work! And knowing your boat top to bottom will be a huge advantage!
I'm guessing 1003 screws 😝
My guess is 1333 screws! Great work! Enjoying your videos very much.
On my boat i have replaced the teak deck with green plastic golf matt, Now my dog feels at home when he goes for a whiz ;)
Awesome! New deck is looking good! My guess is 2467 screws!
Brilliant guys 👍loving this, follow your dreams, doing a great job and good luck.
Both got good attitude and that is 95% of the job.I hope Magnus from hallberg rassy
is watching this.If I win the lotto I'm going to order a new HR 57🌍🍻
I really admire your commitment to and enthusiasm for this massive under-taking.
A suggestion for future tool purchases would be: 1.) a Japanese double-edge pull-saw ($10); and 2.) a DeWalt Random Orbital Sander ($75). The pull-saw is incredibly efficient at cutting wood, pvc & plastic by hand. An orbital sander is 4-5 times faster than a jitterbug vibrating sander.
Adding these 2 items to your basic toolbox (i.e. cordless drill w/bits, standard and metric socket sets, a few quality screwdrivers-wrenches & pliers) will allow you to handle most projects.
If or when your budget allows, a Dremel Rotary Tool ($100) is also a handy universal power tool for working in tight places (especially if you need to cut light metal).
I hope this boat brings you everything you want from a new/different lifestyle. Good luck.
Very impressive. I would never have the patience.
you is fantastic!
It's getting there. Looking good 1053 screws
A lot of hard work but it will surely pay off in the end. Congratulations on how its turning out. Looks great. I've been down in the Keys the past 2 weekends (live in Miami) and I've seen what you mean about all the work that's going on down there. A lot of places I used to enjoy have closed for good. It's sad. Loving this channel! My new guess is 5525 screws.
Hello, just a tip. 3M strip caulk is like tar strips that can be molded and used to seal holes or cracks NAPA sells it and 3M 5200 marine sealant home depot near the paint department usually both amazing products. Fair winds and safe seas to you both.
1,840 Thanks for the chance to win.... Good Luck on the boat projects.
great progress, 2579 screws ;-) Keep up the great work
Wow sorting through all of our guesses will take you almost as long as unscrewing all the screws! 1961 screws.
2517 screws?!? Love watching your channel! Keep it up.
