Regrettably i found this song through gta san andreas where i should have heard if from my dad as ge introduced me to africa but again i cant blame him he was originally a punk. But this version hits a bit nore different than the original im glad i went out of my way to find this ❤🤟🤟
This was Bobby K. at his best singing for the band . If he had stayed a better lifestyle his voice would have most likely been great throughout the 80's
indeed, however not all of the live performances were this perfect. There's another live recording of Rosanna on here someone (titled from '82), and, well, it sounds like each member decided to sing in every key but the right one! It's fantastic ;)
I dont know about that. Any1 who actually plays knows this is a very basic drum part. I could play that part identical at 14 years old. Everything from the main part to the fills are pretty basic. It's just tripelets on the highhat and base on 1 and 3 snare on 2 and 4. And basic 16th note fills. This is year 1 shiit
@@marklower007 jeff porcaro, playing year 1 "shit" is one of the most recorded drummers in history. you clearly dont understand what "pocket" and "feel" means. shame on you
Cocaine, silk shirts and whatever the fuck hair styles you wanted, coupled together with brilliant musicians and a true love for performing. God bless Toto❤ Even Maud Flanders is going for it in the crowd
@@mjtch no problem. I enjoy their music. let me repeat: david paich is an excellent vocalist who doesn't get enough credit. you, however, are a joyless prick looking for confrontation because your life is empty and you're an angry little man with nothing to show for himself. tough
I was 1 years old when they performed this ❤I wish I could jump in a time machine and grow up in the 80's again then live through the 90's then STOP!!! NO 2000's! The 2000's can kiss my ass with a big smile on its demonic face 😉😃😫
Saw this tour in when I was in high school. Every song had like 2 or 3 minutes of absolutely ripping guitar solo. If you'd told me the lead guitarist was only 22 at the time I would have crapped my pants. Lukather's skill is unreal.
Wow what a perfect live vocal performance by Kimball.
I liked, now listen ✌
Best version I ever heard….for sure !!!
The future city for the rock n roll hall of fame - a fine place to do this song
I haven't seen a Hold the line performance where Lukather repeats a solo. Insane
he didnt repeat they solo
they are improving
luke is one the greatest of all time
Luke is so underrated, but he cheesed that one.
To musicians of this era, simply repeating the album performance was too boring.
Shame there isn't a better quality recording of this version, wow! RIP, Jeff
Still the best after 30 yrs, Bobby and Steve and all the gang!!!!

Omg, what a great voice, saw them in concert many yrs ago. Always loved them.

The cocaine got the best of him.
But rock n roll has got to be lived
@Pumpkingilmourborn in 95, grew up on American death metal and ima tell you, this shit rocks, the solo brother that solo
I grew up to 80s rock. This was a little earlier but to me it's one of the best songs ever
Agreed 💯
Bobby had a amazing voice unmatched
I was watching the music video, was like god damn my man can sing. That what made me look this up, and god damn this era had real talent! (24) btw

Wtf, nobody told me the vocalist of TOTO was played by Pedro Pascal
Damn lol, I was just gonna comment that. If they ever make a movie about Toto, Pascal gonna be Bobby lmao
Hahaha I saw that picture the other day and thought he looked just like Bobby lol
Bro this was a comment back in 2017 lol
Thats pedros dad
WTF is a Pedro pascal?
I love this long version! Such talent! Miss you Jeff.
Awesome version. Jeff Porcaro top 5 drummers of all time
Number one...
and never gets enough love! this is a showcase song for his skills
His ability to stay in the pocket and stay locked in for so long is something all drummers dream of . RIP you legend

TOTO🤩🤩
My boy Pedro pascal with another banger
Cocaine, silk shirts and whatever the fuck hair styles you wanted, coupled together with brilliant musicians and a true love for performing. God bless Toto❤

doesn't get enough credit as a vocalist. excellent.
Its great music but everyone says that about every band
@@mjtch thanks for chiming in.
@@romulus_ thanks for chiming in most basic compliment to band

Shit is pumping with amazing energy!
cocaine
@bigbromiki1 some quality cocaine, I'd be snorting the shit out of it as well 👐💩
Love, love this version, how awesome, love his voice.
What A Song! I was born in the wrong eara!
you mean the eara when people could spell ?
I'm on this planet to find how he got that voice
pre gang blow
Thank you, Jeff. What a performance by the band.
This is the best!

I wish that guy shut up when the intro to the song was being played

luke lookin flawlessly
This is insanely good all around damn
Bobby best singer ever❤️🔥
Before Bobby lost his voice. Drugs mess with everything.
if i had a time machine id come back to this show and grab me an onion and party
How has no one mentioned that guitar solo
Random thought: Bobby Kimbell looks just like Edgar Allen Poe.
I love this.
Nothing like the original singer
japanese guy sounded like he was announcing a boss fight
They are like germans😂😂
Gahaha xD
A classic.
David Hungate! Yeah!
So cool
does the intro belong to another song?
Child's anthem by Toto
Pedro pascal is lit
When you could actually see AND hear the performers sing…not the audience just going nuts & screaming every word.
🤩🤩
El mismísimo Javier Peña de narcos

Really killah to see this . Toto are Monster Musicians. Fantastic Band.
Bobby Kimball was a sex god with those vocals.
jeje the singer looks like Pedro Pascal!!
Such tight harmonies with the singing. Shame about the commentator talking over the intro. When the music is on, keep quiet please.
Damn Osaka Seafood Concern worker safety video
Nothing like the guy babbling during the intro
mando sho put on sum lbs in quarantine
Radar Esportivo UFSM
only flaw in this video is japanese commentary at the beginning 😂
Does anyone know who the other guitarist is? Looks like he's playing rhythm guitar to the right of Bobby Kimball.
it is tom kelly
Quite annoying japanese guy destroying this whole gig.
The po Piči harmónia.
