Go that one a few weeks back the newer updated version and I gotta say I was impressed how how it works on the switch.. no lag, long battery life and feels pretty good in your hand.. doesn't feel cheap

I've had a similar one but mine works great. It was cheap. I unfortunately don't see much variety from Nintendo with controllers. I kinda made a custom sword and shield switch for the games. The controller matches that color scheme quite well.

This controller feels just as good as any controller, I have 0 problems with the d pad or analog sticks that you mentioned.

It's a great control for when you have several people at home and each one needs one to play.
Got it for my little brother and he loves it? I've used it a couple of times when mine runs out of battery, and it's very comfortable, and once you get used to the layout of the +/- and home and screenshot button is nice.
The triggers are a little weird after using a "normal" pro controller or a GameCube style one.
And the sticks are higher, which for someone with small hands is something extra to get used to.
I just, it is a very good option for the price it has. Would recommend 👌

Wonderful review! My family has 3 of these "pro" controllers and they all work incredibly well. I did receive the instructions in En & Ja. I would share if I could. Agreed that they are very easy to use and feel great in your hands. I will confirm that there is no amiibo functionality but I am able to start up my Switch (from sleep mode) by pressing the "Home-button" and then while it scans (blue light flashing) hold down the RT/LT till it is up and running. For retro gaming there is only only choice: We have the NES and SNES controllers which work better than anything else depending on the original system the game is from.

I keep hoping to see a video that finally brings a true cheap pro controller alternative. It's always one with a big caveat if not a few. I'm sure can be done and they keep getting closer but it just never seems to quite get there. It would be just such a pleasant surprise if it was like wow look a true well-made alternative. But it never never is.

I got mine for $15 on Amazon. It's great for me. I love it. Only thing that slightly caught my attention was that when I'm watching RUclips and don't touch the controller for a while, it'll "turn off" I guess? I just press the home button and it resyncs. I don't mind it because it technically saves battery, but it did confuse me at first glance. 10/10 in my opinion, gets the job done and I didn't even spend $20.
9:20 weird, because it does wake up the Switch when you press the home button. I don't know. Maybe I got a recent model?
Anyway, I bought 1 a week ago and it's nice. I also love the fact that there are actual controller mounts for this model out there as well which is usually just available for official controllers.😅
i bought that one and it's great, but I wouldn't play smash on it, there's a ton of input lag that you only notice when playing intense games. i definitely recommend for games that don't require high-speed reaction time P.S. i haven't watched the video yet, i'm just speaking from personal experience

Hey can you confirm how much of a lag there is with smash ultimate? I tried it out and didn’t notice lags but I only played for 5-10 min
Lowaza the lag is reaaally small, it's not a bad controller it just takes some getting used to, I just noticed it bc my movement was a little delayed in the joysticks

barely noticed that much more input lag compared to my other wireless controllers. A little bit more compared to the pro ones but for causal play its still usable. Bigger gripe i have is that the right stick snaps back sometimes and that gives you a weird directional input when flicking the c stick

This came with a used switch I bought off ebay and I couldn’t find any tutorials for how to sync it up. Took me two days and I still had trouble pairing it, you are a life saver

I got this for Christmas (I think, who knows who made that one) but it works pretty well, it does have switch connecting issues but I think that's due to the switch just having trouble at connecting to things, and it is fun, I play mostly in handheld but once I get smash ultimate I'll use pro controllers more and It is a really good controller that I can just play with easily, the grip is nice, I like the colors, and it just feels like a nice controller to play, and I'm happy I got it for Christmas,

Guys what's happening is resellers have bots buying all the switches and reselling them from 500 to 700 companies like Amazon are trying to stop these scum resellers so it might be fixed soon and go back to 300 so just be patient until it's fixed. It really annoys me to taking advantage of people mass buying stuff so they aren't bored >:(
I’ve had 3 of these controllers and all drifted within weeks of me receiving it. I just gave up on them all
Josue Aguilar I didn’t expect it to happen the same week I received it lol. The first one was legitimately a week and a half, the second about 3 weeks, and the third was within the week, they’ve all just broken almost immediately

This being my main controller for 4 months, this is a great alternative to the Pro Controller, two problems I had with this one is the D-Pad it's just... not good, my other problem with this is you're kinda taking a risk because it may have specific problems due to the lack of quality control, for mine the actual problem is the motion controls is shaking and is constantly going left, i'm not sure what caused this problem but I suspect it's shipping that might have messed with the insides of the controller... but otherwise a good cheap controller.

I just grabbed 2 of these new from a local store here where I live. I paid $5.00 US each so I figured at that price they would be good for extras if I need them.
I hope you had a better experience, not having an instruction manual was definitely the bad thing. I bought the cooler dock and it came with a gift card for this controller, I contacted them and they sent it, it came the the manual and having the callibration functions explained was key, it has many functions that worked well so far, and the d-pad was better in the diagonal inputs compared to the oficial pro controller, yeah it sucks that it doesn´t have HD rumble, but it even has the motion feature. to be honest buy getting it for free and working was the best experience. I recommend this controller definitely.
I'd avoid this controller. Stop working after a few charge cycles.
Mine worked pretty ok for about a month or two but then I accidentally dropped it a few times and the trigger buttons no longer work

Hey ! This may be a silly question, but is it possible to pair this with other systems ?
I managed to configure the controller with PC and PS3 via the USB cable and it works, but sadly I couldnt pair it with my PS3 wirelessly. I dont even own Switch, and got the controller for 1$ as "damaged" but all that was wrong with the device was the broken post of right trigger button. If not I'd still be happy with the purchase. Or maybe a BT dongle would help ? I saw very cheap 2.0 BT dongles in my local mall, so I may grab one on the way tomorrow. Thanks !

Kevin try the trongle pro controller it has a 4 back paddles almost like the power a one but the Trongle pro controller is rechargeable

It has latency, meaning that when I press a button, it won’t register until seconds later. It doesn’t happen all the time but it happens
