    Ordered a Sn30 Pro+ over the weekend! The main selling point for me were the adjustable triggers along with the ability to buy a clip for use with my phone. I have enjoyed my N30 pro for years, but it was time to get something bigger and better.

      Same. Don't know why you would spend 30 more for something with less customization options (even if you don't use them they are nice to have just in case you do) as be a superior D pad. Also I'm used to the analog layout of it as I mostly played PS back in the day.

    I’m thinking the 8bitdo because of the stick placement. It’s so hard to find that stick placement for switch. I find the offset stick placement so uncomfortable (Xbox and switch pro controller). Thanks for the video!

  • @Timbo183404
    @Timbo183404 3 года назад +51

    The SN30 Pro+ is my current daily driver. Interesting thing that you point out with the stick placement, because the PS4 is the other home console I have. So jumping between both systems has a somewhat homogeneous feel to my console gaming. It was supposed to be a big deal that the Playstation Final Fantasy games were coming to Switch and to a Nintendo console for the first time, yet playing those games with the Pro+ just made me feel like I was playing them on a Playstation like back in the day. Which isn't so much the case with an asymmetrical stick layout.

    I've used the 8-bitdo SN30 pro+ since day 4 of owning my switch lite. It's solid, comfy and a joy to use, but use it to play intense games that rely on the D-pad like MK11 and the D-pad will become loose and rattle inside its plus-shaped hole in no time.

    My favorites are the 8bitdo SN30 Pro and SN30 Pro+ controllers, but the D-pad placement isn't ideal for all games, so I switch it up. I've also been using the PowerA wired controllers for those games with the dominant joystick controls, but I'm on the second one that's starting to suffer from the stick drift. How long do the wireless ones last before stick drift becomes an issue?

    intersted in the SN30pro plus ( though would prefer asymmetrical sticks), but i own the SN30 pro and find the rubber matierial on the stick wear down pretty quickly. The first time i used it was for an hour. we played a bit of smash, mario kart and mario tennis and there were already black flakes coming off. I know this isn't a one off issue as i've used 3 sn30 pros and they all did the same thing. ..has me worries as these appear to be the identical stick.

      1) just wear gloves or get stick caps, the salt from your sweaty hands is doing it.
      2) I’m pretty sure they reused the pro sticks on the pro +

      @@russiancheems2275 I'm ocd when it comes to my electronics so my hands are always clean. I've tried with multiple sn30 pros, some right out of the box. They're just cheap sticks

    I just got the Power A Nano . Love everything about it except the plus and minus buttons and its so frickin comfortable to hold that ill work through it . But did you notice the Switch doesn't detect the battery ? It shows up in the controller select screen with no battery icon . The only way i can tell if it's charging is light to the right of the right bumper trigger combo and i have no way of knowing how much charge there is unless its full and the light changes color . Are you experiencing this bug ? It works great, i am just puzzled as to why the battery isn't detected, it's licensed by Nintendo . It has no rumble or amiibo functionality, but i I don't think that has anything to do with the Switch being able to see the controller's battery .

    Does anyone have any experience with the NYXI Wireless Joy-pad with 8 Colors LED? I mainly play docked but the appeal Of extra joy cons the occasional time I play undocked is a draw. Or would I just be better off buying a dedicated pro type controller. Thanks.

    I have been looking at the official Switch Pro Controller so I may get that for Christmas this year but I also just remembered that I may also want one for my XBox down the line. Has anyone found a pro controller that can control more than one console?

  • @littl3spy

    The only problem with the switch pro controller is left analog in the wrong place, it just hurts my finger, Wii had a better "pro" controller that at least didn't hurt my finger after an hour of playing. Idc about amibo and everyone older than 13 shouldn't, vibrations are good if they are on a ps or xbox level, only motion controlls are great and idk why nobody thought about it earlier.

    i use a controler, it was a cheap $20 one. but it has one major thing I like about it. it moves the home and screenshot buttons AWAY from the plus and min buttons that you use to open menus. they button layout for the switch on joycon is super annoying. you need to stop moving to open a muen with ur left thumb, or u need to go to the other end of the controller on the right. (and I sometimes press y when I do it) orirally the brand was ralthy, but I cant find them. another brands stoga. they move the screen shot, and its turbo button to the bottom of the controller where the xbox1 has its headphone jack. and makes the home button a bigger glossed button between the + and - so its a more natural layout.
