The only reason this isn't a thing yet is because these dumb fuck companies have been underestimating cable bandwidth demand for like 10 years. And now they're playing catch up.
i would love to see a IPS successor to the 38GN950, but 1440p WOLED and a 800R curve is a easy 'pass' for me .. 2024 is a frustrating year for a new screen if you try to avoid OLEDs.
That is quite a nice monitor even now. It's got HDR and 144hz G-sync. The only thing it lacks is the monitor technology. I would still buy it if it's lowered in cost over the years.
Simply it’s the best in every category. Except 1 maybe 2 areas. When companies can push the panels to their limits and not have to think about “technicals” like mini-led FALD that are notorious for input lag and response times that are 99% of the time untuned out of the box garbage. It’s not hard to see why almost no company is even remotely touching anything but OLED. Because even they know it.
Awww, was hoping for 3840x1600, which is the resolution I'm interested in and at this size. I've not seen anything announced for this with the latest OLED tech 😢
@@MermaidTyrone I think you're wrong. They'll remain a rarity, but I'm sure they'll continue popping up for many years to come. @@ChrispyNut Yeah, I would say that if they do come, then not for a while. OLED manufacturing makes it harder to produce niche configurations. 5120x2160 is coming first at least.

1:24 glad to hear this, Ive been considering a swap to an OLED panel 21:9 for a racing setup and PVE titles. While i wait a few years for a lower price point for a 32" 4k oled monitor to put beside it. The local dimming and response time/adaptive sync potential makes the 21:9 aspect ratio seem somewhat more viable even if using a cropped 16:9 ratio for twitch shooters....now ppl can actually have a 21:9 purely for gaming on most genre, and an ideal 4k for work/etc with a lower refresh rate like 120hz or etc that would seem to be much cheaper.
I've had the LG 38GN950-B for about two years now. The only thing that held me back from this model, which essentially would have been an OLED upgrade from IPS, is that pixel density. Having the 3840x1600 res for the past couple years with nearly perfect text clarity is simply something I cannot give up. Even for higher refresh rate and OLED.
I have the same model and currently have the 39" GS95QE. I really love the immersion the 800R curve gives you over the non existent curve on the 38GN950. Yes, the PPI isn't great but using something like BetterClearType will help improve text quality. I would say if you're going to be using this for both work and gaming then steer clear of this panel but if you're just using it for gaming and web browsing then this a great monitor. The picture quality on this model blows the IPS panel on the 38GN950-B away. I can't go back to IPS after using OLED.
@Setzer777 I own an LG C1 OLED tv so I know what I'm missing out on at least. For IPS panels, the 38GN950 is really good you have to admit. The nanocell layer LG uses on their top end IPS panels really make colors pop without losing color accuracy. Not OLED color obviously but for IPS it's pretty great. I've used Windows 11 built in clear text but never a 3rd party program which is probably what you're referring to. I'll have to try it on some of my lower resolution monitors and see how it looks.
@@PCPAyLOAD Oh no doubt the IPS panel on the 38GN950-B is great. I've been using that monitor for the last 3 years and it's been great. I just wish it had more of a curve to the screen. Some people feel the 800R is a bit too extreme but I love it. It pulls me into games and I find myself not having to turn my head to the left or right like I did on the 38GN950-B. I primarily use my PC for gaming and web browsing so the PPI hit doesn't bother me as much. In Windows I have the scale set to 125% so while text and windows are slightly bigger the text is much clearer.
2 years ago I have decided that my next monitor will be 38-40" 240 hz 5120x2160 OLED, and it doesn't matter that it wasn't even announced then. I knew the day of its release will come, and it will be the day I upgrade my whole desktop. Now I know this day is no longer some distant opportunity, it is already coming to us. When such monitor will be released it will be a true masterpiece, I don't think I will need anything better for a couple of decades.
@@JBrinx18just because there is something better on the market doesn't mean that you'll need to upgrade. However there is OLED burn in to consider, and I think it's unlikely that the panels in a few years from now are going to last for decades. Maybe 12 years is achievable, but I doubt it (for a heavy user at least)
I went with the odyssey neo g9 57 since I wanted something closer to 8k 7680x2160 is mindblowing especially for hdr gaming and all I am set only thing that could make this better was make it a oled version
I'd only consider replacing my AW3821DW with an OLED equivalent of the same 1600p resolution, though given I use it for productivity I'm not sure I'd pull the trigger on OLED... might need to wait for mini/micro LED unless they can really dial in the text clarity on OLED.
Can't wait to dive into the world of curved monitors! From what I've heard, the immersion they offer is next level. It's like having a front-row seat to all the action, and I'm already imagining the intense gaming sessions and cinematic experiences that await. Counting down the days until I finally get my hands on one!
I don't get putting fans in monitors which may be used 7+ years. It will get filled with dust and became noticeable, or fail and will need repair that most users are uncomfortable doing. If the user wouldn't notice the failed fan will the pcb that its cooling be in danger of overheating/failing since it was designed with air cooling. If nothing else its suboptimal.
800R is WAY too much. I was on board untill you mentioned it. First, you cant turn your chair and lean back to watch a video or film, you HAVE to sit completely upright and right in front of it, or it simply causes too much distortion. Even on my 1800R I experience this to some degree. Second, it looks really dumb on a desk, it sticks out too much, and you can see the back if it from huge angeles. Its basically wasting space for no real reason. I guess its about ones taste in the end, but my perfect monitor refuses to be made for now. This was VERY close though.
That 800R curve is so aggressive. At the moment, it's on sale for $600 off. Thoughts on that curve for work use? (I use photoshop for digital painting to give you an idea)/ At the moment I'm using a 34 in LG ultrawide 3440 x 1440p with 1900R. It's been near perfect, but was thinking of jumping onto the OLED bandwagon.
I agree burn-in needs to be explicitly stated in the warranty. The purpose of a warranty is to cover defects. Also we don't buy the product directly from LG. Outlets could have a different interpretation.
This is coming from someone who owns a total of 6 LG televisions(2) and monitors (4): LG keep making blunder after blunder in my opinion. Heavy matte finishes on OLEDS, low brightness, weird resolution choices, and, what is currently affecting me, an extremely (inverse) ABL that ruins the 27gr95um in HDR. Who wants a dim mini-led? The Innocn 27m2v is superior in the HDR picture (which I also have). Blah.
In the last 30 days on the page for this display on the LG website, they have replied and stated they have a 2 year burn in warranty, as long as its not improper use like commercial digital signage.
Love this monitor, I'm coming from a 77 inch samsung oled s90. Bought that tv specifically for gaming it was amazing. But the monitor is a lot better for gaming. The response time is great and it looks really good. Got it for $830 at bestbuy price matched.
I decided around a decade ago that the first *actual* no compromises monitor would be the first OLED 5120x2160 monitor with 120hz refresh rate or higher. Those specs would be absolutely magnificent for media, gaming and productivity. I feel like we're finally closing in! What a time to be alive.
I had the LG 27 inch OLED and was underwhelmed with it due to the matte panel, low brightness, very aggressive ABL. I switched to the Alienware 32 inch 4K QD-OLED and it was everything I wanted in a monitor. Very beautiful.
People i wish i had your sight. I tested the 45" version and ppi was a non issue for me. The size of the whole monitor and the massive curve were though. Had to return it sadly.
Me as user understand that burn in is an issue and it should go by default under a warranty so not sure it should be mentioned extra. But... knowing greed of companies, thats something what should be mentioned
I've been waiting for a 38-39 inch OLED ultrawide for a while now, such a shame LG opted for a 1440p resolution instead of 1600p. I guess I'll keep using my 38GN950-B...
I jumped on the smaller LG 34GS95QE when it went on sale for $796 USD on Amazon and have been using it for a week now. Hard to want to go for the AW3423DW/F when you got a 240Hz refresh rate on the LG OLED UW at such a good price.
800r curve is ridiculous imho. I just love my 2300R LG 38GN950 monitor so i would love to see more 38 or 39inch options for OLED. Looks like there is some way to go still. I guess i'll keep my 38GN950 for a while still 😅
The curve only looks ridiculous from the sides. When you're looking straight in, it's absolutely amazing. Your arm remains the same distance away from the screen when you move it side to side, so it's the same for our eyes. Having astigmatism and slight myopia, the curve is magical. I have the 45, I'm assuming it all equates the with the 39.
@@5ean5ean22Actually the 45” got a refresh this year, that just that released with increased brightness and a USB Type C port. That being said, I tried out an LG 45 and I’m probably going to return it. The colors while good, are not impressive

Acer apparently released an improved version of this panel with their new Predator x39 oled. It is only available in Australia at the moment. Any chance you could test this out?
The 800R curve is incredible and absolutely immersive in gaming. I own the 45 inch LG model and absolutely love it and the 800R curve on it. In my opinion, if you want something else, buy something else, because this option being available is great for gamers.
For gaming sure. But you gotta remember a vast majority of people use their monitor for other things than gaming. Also the text clarity sucks at 39 inch and especially 45 inches.
id second waiting for a newer model to release and this version to drop considerably in price...then you can use it primarily for gaming pve titles and racing sim/simcade etc...while having the budget headroom for a second monitor vs buying these oleds and QD oled UW options brand new/new to market.
yeah i'd rather LG make higher resolution panels instead of offering the same 3440x1440 res in 3 different sizes, uwqhd isn't even that great at 34" anymore, minimun horizontal resolution should be 3840 pixels, at this size it should really have 5120px and their next 45 incher panel better be 6880x2880
For the last 8 years or so, I live with a 34" 3440x1440 monitor. It really changed my habits. In my case, the gaming is a significant, but smaller part of the monitor use - I'm also a SW dev. And I found that single ultrawide, is more convenient than multi monitor setup. Especially since I 'm "forced" to use macbooks for the past decade or so. They are horrible at multi-window, multi-display even with addons like better toch. But, the 3440 pixel width, is on the edge of too small for two windows. I had really high hopes for the new Dell u4025qw which has practically everything I want except for the HDR performance and other things that come with IPS panel. Well, I could wish for a higher refresh rate, but 120Hz is totally fine by me. It has a KVM with a 2.5Gbps Ethernet, 140W power delivery to the laptop, enough ports for anything I use. So it is perfect for a very clean dual PC (desktop + macbook) setup. If only it had a decent mini-led panel with over 2000 zones ...
Hopefully this madness of extreme curving the monitors stops. Ideally the curve should be for compensation only, making it "feel like" you are just using a regular screen. Comfortably usable in a natural way from a wide range of distances. Not forcing the user to get glued to the monitor at all times and also ruining any use other than gaming.
Is it possible on the Peak Brightness mode to lower the monitor brightness? Would a 90-95/100 setting get more accurate EOTF? With some impact on the peak... In which case that would mean the monitor leaves the option to increase HDR brightness, for some situations where the content itself is too dimm (lots of movies are masterized with low brightness) Not sure if that should be the default. Or maybe LG could have made it accurate and show the user it allows 110/100 brightness slider. I know I'd use that.
A good monitor but missing things id gladly pay a bit more for. Higher resolution, usb c, a remote, glossy screen, the aggresive curve i can probably live with either this or a 1800r and so much more. I guess ill just wait a bit more. Hopefully they'll get it right one day.
I've been looking at these for a while now. I think I'm gonna go a different route. The cost for these monitors using LG's new panel is just too high. They lack features and option that MSI's $800 QD-OLED had. I wouldn't pay more than $1000 for the 39" and $800 for the 34".
Because manufacturers never listen to what we actually want! 38" 1600p OLED would have been the bees knees imo. But nah, they keep making a ton of other rubbish sizes and rubbish resolutions amongst all the standard ones.
Am I alone thinking this resolution is perfectly fine at this size? Thing is I come from the pre PC era. The early IBM PC was not high resolution. All it supported was CGA which is four colors at 320 x 200 pixels or two colors at 640 x 200 pixels. EGA was a huge upgrade on this, but no where near VGA which was when we finally got a better color representation including originally 256 colors but eventually 24 bit color at pretty decent resolutions. A DPI of over 90 is not something that disturbs me. A dpi of 100 was a huge thing back in it's day and 90 something isn't all that much worse. What is more important is the color pattern used on the display and here we have had some problems with OLED's using layouts that are not supported by the font smoothing in Windows, at least up to Win10, I have no idea if Win11 has improved this.
Incredible. Annoying I have a 4K 48" gaming OLED already because for me the 32" 1440p 240Hz was absolutely perfect. Plenty dense and big enough that I didn't have to keep the panel less than a foot from my face. So an ultra wide version sounds superb. Man...
I have been using matte monitors most of my life (excluding CRT but thats another story) and as die hard "user" I also have difficulty to understand why would you put on top tier oled monitor technology that brings so much visually and paste with vaseline such as matte coating? Matte is diffusing light thats hitting the screen but not blocking it! Here is plot twist - the light thats coming from monitor is also affected by that matte coating, and your retina end result is perceiving the image on monitor as more grainy on brighter areas and fuzzy.
@monitors unboxed, this is now £860 on Amazon UK, best option at this price point or not worth at this time of the year and better wait for newever models?
I think this monitor is intended for PC racing or flight Sims, in 3 packs. optimum did a racing sim video a week ago with 3 45GS95QE-B (the 45 in version @ $1700.00 USD) at the same resolution. He was disappointed with the pixel density too.
4:30 $1500 monitor with HDMI 2.1 that needs DSC to reach 240Hz... what year is it LG!? The monitor MAFIA brand LG is still selling NEW monitor models with crappy HDMI support!!! The monitor industry needs serious competition, these brands will be making straight E-waste products none stop! In other news! "PCIe 7.0 to Reach 512 GB/s, Arriving in 2025 | Tom's Hardware".
I knew it had a fan the moment you showed the backside. I don't get it. The "central box" design has been a proven design to circumvent having to use a fan for quite some time now, but it is not always used. Silent operation maybe, but a fan is still some mechanical element that is prone to breaking. This together with only a 2 year warranty makes for a rather poor investment of 1499€ (in Europe) imho.
Everyone barking about resolution and pixel density clearly don’t understand the affect distance from eye to screen has on perceived visual clarity. A 40” 1440p screen at 2ft away will look just as good as a 34” 1440p from 1.5ft away because you’re able to comfortably sit further from the screen with the same perceived clarity & field of view.
I always miss the lrice of the monitor in the first segment. The price is the most important characteristics for a product. It's not nice to always skip to the end and search for the price or google the product first.
How come they're STILL not including DisplayPort 2.1 with new monitors like this? And even over HDMI 2.1 it requires DSC? DSC should not be required for utilising the panel at its intended specs in this.
I'm using currently 40" 4k @60hz for productivity and recreational gaming (including Cs (sic!)). I'd love a 43" woled that would support 480+Hz in 1080p with image cropping and 144/240 Hz in 4k. If you throw in good colour accuracy for my photo editing, that would be my perfect screen. Btw I would still keep my current and run both 40"+43". If you tried that real estate for Jobs that involve many windows/programmes like coding... There is no coming back.
Any monitor manufacturer knows that burn in is one of the main issues with OLED tech so if their warranty DOES cover for burn in, why would they not explicitly state this? Why would they obfuscate this for consumers, and potentially lose sales? It makes no sense. Yeah, I don't trust it unless it's specifically stated. Like any form of insurance, they'll do anything to find a loophole and wiggle out of paying up/replacing.
Om the chance anyone sees this, they tanked the prices on these. Right now amazon has the 34 inch for 896 with 80 dollsr discount. Best buy has 39 inch for 1000 with 10% discount if you trade in any monitor for recycling. Pretty solid deals, both of those.
Pixels Per Inch is noticeable on a 34" 1440p 21:9 Monitor. The only real reason to upgrade for us Ultrawiders is if you have a 2.1 HDMI (allowing more bandwidth to handle more resolution) 21:9 5120x2160. Otherwise I'm moving to the 16:9 4k monitors that are pushing insane refreshrates.

@@MermaidTyrone I think you're wrong. They'll remain a rarity, but I'm sure they'll continue popping up for many years to come.
Slightly more vertical res than the norm has always been popular, but not popular enough to shift the standard, so they're annoying to produce, limiting their number (because supply-side economics, rather than demand-side)
@@ChrispyNut Yeah, I would say that if they do come, then not for a while. OLED manufacturing makes it harder to produce niche configurations. 5120x2160 is coming first at least.
@@MermaidTyrone In that sense, yes, they're jumping to it. Fair enough. 👍
I probably missed the intent, as I don't see them as having adopted 1600 as mainline, so they're not jumping from it. 🙂
@@ChrispyNut We haven't seen them since the older AW, LG, Acer 144hz 38 inch ones. They are quite old and we've had plenty of CES after and no one is making newer 3840x1600p displays. They gonna go straight into 5120x2160 next. They jumped ship and abandoned the panel.
I was praying for 5160x2160, alas the wait waits
Dell has one, but it's productivity first: U4025QW
It's coming near the end of the year, but prepare for 2000$ price tag
@@DDHDTV yeah was excited till I heard ti aint for gamin
Reporting in that in the UK LG do NOT offer burn in warranty for this monitor. Just ordered but tempted to return now, just for the peace of mind
Decades? It won't be 3 years before we see something better at that size
@@timotheus34 Sure, it doesn't, but decades??? lol
I went with the odyssey neo g9 57 since I wanted something closer to 8k 7680x2160 is mindblowing especially for hdr gaming and all I am set only thing that could make this better was make it a oled version
@@JBrinx18 a 45" 5120x2160 panel by LG is going in mass production in Q4, and should be released early next year
They're still making 1440p? Don't we have enough of them? When will we get any 1600p or 2160p UW?
Absolutely agreed, for that size 3840x1600 should be the minimum.
For real!
Yes, it's crazy that you can get 2160p 240hz in 32:9 but not 21:9.
2160p on UW will be really hard to push as gaming monitor , but I agree that we need more 1600p option for more pixel density for this size of monitor
@@breeminatorDell has one: U4025QW
I'd only consider replacing my AW3821DW with an OLED equivalent of the same 1600p resolution, though given I use it for productivity I'm not sure I'd pull the trigger on OLED... might need to wait for mini/micro LED unless they can really dial in the text clarity on OLED.
Any update on the burn in cover? LG have this monitor and the 34' on sale atm. Helpful review BTW. :)
These videos should include, at the end, what your optimal settings would be if this was your daily driver.
Great review, thanks. How would you compare it with Asus PG39WCDM?
Hey, minor note: timestamps were incorrect, seems like it is due to the insertion of the 7:49
Been waiting for your review of this monitor like a kid on Christmas. Thank you.
Blah.
Love this monitor, i have had it for several months and im a fan, yeah the resolution is a little whack at this size, but i dont notice it really
In the last 30 days on the page for this display on the LG website, they have replied and stated they have a 2 year burn in warranty, as long as its not improper use like commercial digital signage.
I'm one of the few that would like this pixel pitch on 32" 16:9... Easy on my old eyes...
same. But the curve is trash here
@@MissMan666 Oh, I forgot to mention. I would want if flat like most 16:9 screens.

Can you do a review of the Best 38”-40” Curved panels for gaming that don’t have an aggressive 800R curve, please!
Love this monitor, I'm coming from a 77 inch samsung oled s90. Bought that tv specifically for gaming it was amazing. But the monitor is a lot better for gaming. The response time is great and it looks really good. Got it for $830 at bestbuy price matched.
Any chance you can get one of the INNOCEN or KTC mini LED monitors in considering how much cheaper they are?
I decided around a decade ago that the first *actual* no compromises monitor would be the first OLED 5120x2160 monitor with 120hz refresh rate or higher. Those specs would be absolutely magnificent for media, gaming and productivity. I feel like we're finally closing in! What a time to be alive.

i'm curious on which geniuses in samsung and LG that are so keen on so aggressive curves.
What about G-Sync flicker? The 45 inch model has some G-Sync Flickering
Thank you for being a real person and not a robot voice 😊
I had the LG 27 inch OLED and was underwhelmed with it due to the matte panel, low brightness, very aggressive ABL. I switched to the Alienware 32 inch 4K QD-OLED and it was everything I wanted in a monitor. Very beautiful.
Hy, What is your alienware model?
@@deathsandman1396 theres only one 32 inch QD-OLED model
People i wish i had your sight. I tested the 45" version and ppi was a non issue for me. The size of the whole monitor and the massive curve were though. Had to return it sadly.
Me as user understand that burn in is an issue and it should go by default under a warranty so not sure it should be mentioned extra. But... knowing greed of companies, thats something what should be mentioned
Crazy how different the brightness is in hdr compared to the 32" 4k. Wtf is going on with the 32"? The brightness sucks compared to this one
I've been waiting for a 38-39 inch OLED ultrawide for a while now, such a shame LG opted for a 1440p resolution instead of 1600p. I guess I'll keep using my 38GN950-B...
Helped me opt for a different model from LG. Their 38” with the higher resolution is exactly the balance I need at this price point. Thanks!
nice review. I just picked it up for 750 brand new, I think it's definitely worth that price. I'm excited!
not being clear on the burn in means this is a DOA product.
It is a WOLED, burn in is far less likely than QD OLED.
So all the oled then....lolllllllll😂😂😂😂😂😂
I jumped on the smaller LG 34GS95QE when it went on sale for $796 USD on Amazon and have been using it for a week now. Hard to want to go for the AW3423DW/F when you got a 240Hz refresh rate on the LG OLED UW at such a good price.
04:20 is that VRR flickering? This issue is really annoying, can it be fixed?
If this was offered in a less aggressive curve I would order it today. The 800R stops me.
I have LG 45" version - this is by far the best OLED monitor I have ever owned! Resolution is not a problem.
Keep telling yourself that. Theres a reason why the 45 inch isnt returning this year. But if your happy all power to ya.

I have this monitor sitting in its box (bought yesterday) & I was sold it to "help with my visual impairment" I want it for use with office 365 but you make it sound like I've been lied to?
Acer apparently released an improved version of this panel with their new Predator x39 oled. It is only available in Australia at the moment. Any chance you could test this out?
In your color tab the 32 4K woled has twice the value of this 39 woled and is more or less on pair with the qdoled. Is this noticeable while gaming?
With the old subpixel layout, does that mean this is an older generation panel, as far as technology?
Still waiting for the 1600p version...
great details, thanks for all this research! who's here for october prime day and that
I’m still thinking a 42” 144hz oled tv is the way to go for me.
The 800R curve is incredible and absolutely immersive in gaming. I own the 45 inch LG model and absolutely love it and the 800R curve on it. In my opinion, if you want something else, buy something else, because this option being available is great for gamers.
I hate 800R. Way too curved. 1500-1800R is much much better.
I agree and I hate the whining. I don't whine when a monitor has a curve that is not enough for my taste, I just move on.
No, it ain't.
yeah i'd rather LG make higher resolution panels instead of offering the same 3440x1440 res in 3 different sizes, uwqhd isn't even that great at 34" anymore, minimun horizontal resolution should be 3840 pixels, at this size it should really have 5120px and their next 45 incher panel better be 6880x2880
All depends on how the oled panels are cut/manufactured
I would agree but that hypothetical 2880p monitor isn't coming for a loooong time. 5120x2160 is closer, LG Display has it in it's roadmap.
3840x1600 is great, 5120x2160 would be even better on the 38+ size.
3840x1600 oled 39in 240+hz would be endgame for me. Glad you mentioned this! Wish this resolution/ size was more available...
Is it possible on the Peak Brightness mode to lower the monitor brightness?
Would a 90-95/100 setting get more accurate EOTF? With some impact on the peak...
In which case that would mean the monitor leaves the option to increase HDR brightness, for some situations where the content itself is too dimm (lots of movies are masterized with low brightness)
Not sure if that should be the default.
Hopefully they'll get it right one day.
still sticking to my 34inch 1800R VA panel ... 800R is such an agressive curviture ..... not jumping to oled yet
I've been looking at these for a while now. I think I'm gonna go a different route. The cost for these monitors using LG's new panel is just too high. They lack features and option that MSI's $800 QD-OLED had. I wouldn't pay more than $1000 for the 39" and $800 for the 34".
Finally, an upgrade for the IPS 34" that I use for video and photo editing! Just wished it was flat.
You don't lose fps going from 34 to 39 inch 3440x1440 right?
No. But you do with the resolution over normal qhd.
Why isn't anyone making an OLED 3840x1600??? Especially at this size. I'll be sticking to my Acer X38P for a while longer
Do you test/cover VRR flicker? Saw on RTINGS that it's a consistent issue with OLEDs
Tim, as the pixels age, retention and potentially burn-in start occurring, does the response time become slower or this is not affected? Thank you.
Incredible. Annoying I have a 4K 48" gaming OLED already because for me the 32" 1440p 240Hz was absolutely perfect. Plenty dense and big enough that I didn't have to keep the panel less than a foot from my face. So an ultra wide version sounds superb. Man...
I don’t like stretching out 3440x1440 out beyond 34 inches. Where are the 38 inch 3840x1600 OLED monitors?
I have been using matte monitors most of my life (excluding CRT but thats another story) and as die hard "user" I also have difficulty to understand why would you put on top tier oled monitor technology that brings so much visually and paste with vaseline such as matte coating? Matte is diffusing light thats hitting the screen but not blocking it! Here is plot twist - the light thats coming from monitor is also affected by that matte coating, and your retina end result is perceiving the image on monitor as more grainy on brighter areas and fuzzy.
Why can't we get any oled panels in 1440p above 27"? I love my 32" panel I have right now but everything seems to be ultrawide for oled 1440.
Because above 27", the pixel density is so bad that you may as well be looking at 1080p.
@monitors unboxed, this is now £860 on Amazon UK, best option at this price point or not worth at this time of the year and better wait for newever models?
Please, Review the LG 44GS95QE Review, they got MLA+ on their oled pannel to boost up a lot the brightness! thanks!
I think this monitor is intended for PC racing or flight Sims, in 3 packs.
optimum did a racing sim video a week ago with 3 45GS95QE-B (the 45 in version @ $1700.00 USD) at the same resolution. He was disappointed with the pixel density too.

The low pixel density and the high screen curvature make this a hard to choose monitor.
Please ask if you buy the additional warrenty will it include burn-in?
Could you by any chance make a review on budget 240hz monitors, like AOC 25G3Z. And also more 180hz monitors like you did with Gigabyte G24F 2?

Now I have 2x24 in a 140x65 table. Will this monitor fit in that size?
That's 816 for 34 and 900 for 39, to be clear. Price was before discounts.
