  • A short video today. I take a quick look at the Sony E 20mm Lens for the APS-C camera bodies. I use it for this review on my A6700.

I have it on my A6400. It is a very un-Leicalike setup. You just whip it out, shoot away and go home with images that are good enough for most uses. Makes you think...and reconsider.
Talking picture-wise: How much added value do you actually get using full-frame top of the line material?

I love this little guy; great for street, adequate for landscape, more than good enough for facebook, but full frame it is not. Bokeh, resolution (corners, especially) low light are the major differentiators.

I’m curious about how this lens compares to the TT Artisans 27mm f/2.8.

me too! Just heard abt the TT Artisan 27mm, but I would prefer 20mm for Street Photography. But is also cost more 😅 Did you find any good comparisons?

The TTartisan 27 makes very good quality images. Even pixel peeping, you will see the image holds up very well. It's about a 40mm lens FF equivalent. The 20mm Sony is 30mm FF equivalent.
