What makes Kaguya-sama so good is that *the culture festival becomes mere set-up for the true climax of the first half of the series, which is the arc that directly follows it.* Lesser series would simply end after even managing to make an arc so good, yet Aka looked at it and said "hold my beer." and wrote one of the best romance stories ever told.
Such a great summation of what makes this anime and manga so great.
