I was wondering if your opinion changed at all after episodes 2 and 3 came out. For me, its good for a chuckle or 2, but overall I think MHAA isn't anywhere near as good as SAO abridged is.

I also see Alluka/Nanika as a representation of being neurodivergent. The way her family and others who aren’t Killua always used her to attain their own selfish desires while labeling her as the monster kinda reflects how neurodivergent people are often manipulated and taken advantage of by neurotypical people. There’s also the fact that Alluka’s family immediately separate her from the others due to her operating differently from them, and never trying to at least understand her like Killua does

Regarding the release schedule and such, i watched thos while it came out and the fan backlash from episode 1 was severe and i think they were going to can the whole project ar some point. Then they decided to continue airing and we got a bunch at once, and if it's a fan favorite lime you said it was probably to save the show, and there was no chance at all bt then of getting a second season. A lot of this i found out on the CR forums which are... Haha... No longer existing. In that regard, the fans ruined it.

I think it was more paint by numbers and jot as good as phantom, which really made people take to this too hashly. I also feel the live action movie is better but incan't judge this entry too harshly. It was handled poorly, but more so by the direction and style than anything else. Also, weirdly though, the art itself is actually more IS more in line with the art on the covers of the light novel and the art of the manga adaptations than phantom.

Thanks for giving this underrated show some love. It's rare to have the animators so in sync they just add to the original work. For example the steam locomotive whistle sound whenever someone gets steaming mad is comedy genius. Also loved season 2 and hope to see more, but sadly the health of the author is very bad.

I started watching this series and was immediately bothered by the editing. It's crazy how practically all scenes have bad editing, it's jarring and off-putting.

Just finished watching and can't get over the fact that no new episodes are gonna be there to watch, I love you Ash and Pikachu. I know you are gonna be the Pokemon Master. Apart from all the criticism this is the only series we all grew up watching and yeah everything has an ending I hope you make a return in the new episodes as a guest. I am gonna miss you both❤. This review was the most interesting one bud.

Currently rewatching a lot of the Pokemon anime and after watching the beginning of DP, I decided to go back and watch this video and like, while I was more invested in what was happening compared to you, what you said makes complete sense if you don't like a majority of what took place in those episodes. It really is asinine to expect you or anyone else for that matter to invest almost 200 episodes into a story that you are very obviously not into. I feel like it should be obvious to be people who are fans of DP (like myself) that we were able to sit through the show cause we got something out of it that you didn't. Nobody sits through media they actively dislike especially for 200 episodes. It isn't even like you tried to take away from people enjoying DP, people just cannot stand the idea that someone dare criticize what is considered the fan favorite in any way. Anyway I hope I left 1 good comment in a sea of absolute garbage.

I'm pretty certain Clannad: After Story was the #1 anime at one point as well. It probably didn't get captured in the Wayback Machine, but there's a featured article on MAL that states: "before the powerhouse that is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Clannad: After Story was the highest-rated TV anime on MAL for some time." I'm so glad I found this video, I really couldn't have said it better myself. The fights in this anime are quite poor, especially when you look at the previous two animes. The fights just get worse when Sword or Knight put on their armor, they move so slow when they're supposed to be at their fastest.

Logh breifly taking the top spot overall and still sitting on top of all OVA’s is a testament to its greatness.

I read somewhere on Reddit, Gintama was purposefully downvoted by many because they didn't understand the anime! Its probably not a great amount of people that did it to Gintama but its not uncommon for some popular anime to be targeted by some people.

I think MAL's ranking is getting violated lately. This is because over the last few years a massive amount of new anime watchers started to rank the animes & 2 things happen from this: They generally rate too high or too low, thus a 7/10 previously getting 9/10 these days or a previous 6/10 might be getting 1/10 now. & A lot of emphasis they put on animation quality over the entire story. This hurts the older animation or low budget production with less fps.

Gintama Vs fmab was when I started going to anime parties. It was the first time I met weebs. I didn't know people like that existed. I would love learning about drama between weebs. You'd think with so many shounen anime they would through fists but no. Those weebs thought they had superior intelligence and would doxx each other show embarrassing texts and being passive aggressive in general over the fattest chick imaginable.
