Hi. Can you tell me what brand metal gears are in that trans case your using? I just bought the dig unit. The metal gear that I have won’t let the The Vanquish out drives from the kit sit flush. My gear has a lip on the inside. I’m guess that the Vanquish metal gear set will work perfect with the dig unit. Correct? Any help will be appropriated.
@Harley Designs .. impressive video, however, I'm rather puzzled how this would work with the SCX10 II ! I have the SCX10 II Raw Builders Kit .. and watching the assembly of this and installation .. the Dig unit on mine would be facing the front wheels !! Am I missing something here ?

it be nice if it worked on the traxxas trx 4, traxxas needs to get their selves in the game, i seen where they modded them to have them a selectable 2wd and 4wd
have you had anyone ask how to setup on Spektrum DX3R Pro? I have been trying for a week to make work, I can get to move on my aux on 3pos switch but have to keep hitting switch to go between positions and wont stop and servos keeps going, any ideas?
+Dmwz71 you can spin the trans around. As we show it here is also like a real transfer case that is typically used in off road. This is a very common option in full size crawling, with the exception that the locking is performed by the brakes.
The Wraith wouldn’t require any modification to the shafts because the stock housing is about the same length as this dig unit. You will need to buy a new transmission case as well as the dig.

Does the dig unit fit under the wraith full interior like the dig from axial? I noticed the servo horn faces the opposite direction (up), but it appears as if the servo mounts lower. I would like to retain the low floor interior, but would appreciate the durability of the vanquish dig.
A centered driveshaft doesn’t eliminate torque twist. By trying to center the output you’d end up raising the motor or widening the chassis which all of other side effects.
i am burnin servos when i wanna go from 4wd, 2wd and dig, seems like i can't get it centered it works when just usin the 4wd/2wd without dig i be wastin more money on servos unless i can get the micro servo to work with modifications for mount
The stance would use the VFD Dig. You'll need to space the trans up by about 3mm though and make a servo mount. Both are fairly easy to accomplish though.
Just got one of these. Excited to see what it can do. Servo saver seems like a necessity here...
No servo saver, that will just make it mushy. Properly set end points are all that matter.

I noticed you did not use any grease? Did you do this so it would be a clean install? Or should I apply grease! To my hurts dig?
I never grease the actual movements of the dig. Only the internals on the transmission.

The skid plate can simply be flipped around. Then you get the proper orientation.

No, the trans should fit just fine when flipped around.

Nope, that’s not something that’s been available. Two speeds aren’t needed though, just get a quality brushless system.

Just the dig and the trans case. Everything else you should be able to reuse from your Wraith.

+Drew Shy not with out converting to a 3 gear trans. To do that you either need to change skid plates or buy a transmission adapter.
