@Gordon Cullen Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I used dean's for years but have switched to XT60. I had a dean's get so hot after doing donuts for a couple minutes straight that I almost couldn't get it apart. I like the XT60 design with the contacts being shielded, I added a little silicone grease to mine to help them slip together and mainly come apart easier.
I put a Revolver 540 v2 with a sidewinder 4 in my Capra and I love it. the low end torque and smooth startup is better than anything I could have hoped for. it's an awesome kit!

As a point of reference, if you get the Axial parts tree AX31009, it also has the bottom section of the servo saver in the various spline counts. I am using the Savox SH-0256 as my dig servo and it is a direct fit when accompanied by the correct splined piece from AX31009.

They will not be produced again. That product will not return.
How can I hookup the bec to make sure the steering servo gets the higher voltage and the dig servo gets the lower voltage?! Thx!
Nails parts numbers every time but can't say shi, sha, sh, sink (nailed it) 😂
Mamba X!!
Excuse me but I’m a newb. What does a dig mean?
channotpoling20 A DIG Unit fully integrates onto a transmission to allow you to select between 4WD, front wheel drive with either rear drive locked or rear open, all done on a 3 channel or more radio. Helps with climbing, turning in tight turns. Only responded cuz they look fun and I am looking into it too.
9:07 shorter heat sink killed me 😂😂
I run traxxas in my go fast rigs n deans in my crawlers
I use 2s 5000mah shorty packs from my 10th scale buggies.
I like to use bullet connectors. You only have to remember red to red black to blue? Haha haha. Seriously though bullets. 4mm and 6mm.
Perfect battery I've found is the Spectrum Smart 1300mah 30C 3S 11.1V lasts about 45 min. don't even need the hood pins. I bought 2 at $21.99 each ... your welcome
A 30c 1300mah pack will only produce 39amps which is about the bare minimum for a brushed motor. A higher C rated battery or a high capacity would be much less restrictive to performance, especially if you run anything but a brushed motor.
@@HarleyDesignsInc Yeah all I know is that it rips with this battery & fits great (lasts a long time per charge)so I will keep using it,if I have problems I will let you know.I just took a chance & glad I did.I can't argue about the facts,it just works great. You are very smart thats why I watch you.Poor grammar I know.Did I mention it rips?
@@HarleyDesignsInc I only run this in my Capra because of the size limitation,i run 3s 2200mah 11.1 in my Ridgerock. Not trying to spread bad info it just performs great ... way out here in the northwest corner of Orygun, have a great day my friend
Are you seeing problems with portal clearance inside the wheels like some of the other RC channels?
Not with Vanquish wheels.
Harley Designs That’s good to know. I heard that the included plastic bead locks have that issue even.
Great information. I am have heat issues with my Ecopower 120T steering servo. I am running the Mamba X to power everything. Do I need an ext BEC?
No the BEC won’t help the heat issues. It’s likely just working too hard. You’ll either need to step up in servo or be easier on it.
@@HarleyDesignsInc I appreciate the reply. I will try different terrain and see if I have the same problem. Great videos! I learn a lot. Newbie Crawler and my first kit. Thank you.
Make sure there is no binding in your steering to make the servo work harder.
How about a CC MICRO X ESC?
Hey in the future can you build a trail finder two
