    You are an EXCELLENT TEACHER!!! Your English is *NOT a problem* at all, because you do the most important things to help us understand, unlike others who make crochet videos. I appreciate this tutorial, I am soooo bored with the same old stitches! You explain well, but other people do not explain the task, they just "say" do this stitch, do that stitch, without explaining why, but you do. Maybe we could learn a bit of your language! Turkish is a beautiful language, (the accent is too) just like other Altaic languages, like the Koreanic, Mongolic, & Japonic subdivisions, they are very beautiful to listen to, even when the listener does not know the language. THANK YOU!

      Sirin please i know you are so busy but i am having trouble with the 'lost souls' blanket but mostly i saw a woman teaching the skulls beanie. I can't help it i am a very nervous person and i can't learn from jest anyone. The teaching styles are so very different. YOUR style keeps me calm. Can you please teach me the ,skulls beanie'? Please PLEASE! I'm begging you because i don't think i can learn it from anyone else and i get so irritated that it almost makes me sick. I don't know whay the people are doing to make me so upset but i want to learn I'm not trying to be full of bad vibes or drama. I really can't help it. No one is here beside me to see me acting. So I'm not putting on a show for anyone. This is real. I hope you can find time to help me. I can do without a spider web shawl. If i could make the beanie. (Maybe) lol

      Hi Ronette. I really love Lost souls scarf, maybe I could one for myself. I searched for the skulls beanie but I have bad news. It's not free pattern. If you find a free pattern, send it to me ok. I like to help you if I can.

    Your English is just fine. 🥰 I have watched a couple other videos and it didn't even look like herringbone when they finished. I was looking for a tighter less boring stitch. 😂 Seriously, I love to learn new stitches. Right now I am making my son a bag to carry his computer stuff and I wanted a tight stitch. This is perfect. I should have started on your channel in the first place. 😂 Thank you again for a wonderful tutorial. ✌🏻 🥰 🧶 🖇️ 📝

    What an interesting stitch! Ive been crocheting for a long, long time and new stitches are few and far between, so this is awesome! Thank you :)
    On another note, what's up with the thumbs down? How can people not like a new stitch video? Even if they already know it, why would they dislike the video because of it? Just go on and watch another one.
    People are strange...being nasty just because they can be.

    • @SirinsCrochet
      @SirinsCrochet  4 года назад +3

      I never look at thumbs 🙈I have so many good comments and that makes me so happy. Maybe it's because of the way I talk. I understand them and don't worry about it 😸 Glad you like the stitch ❤❤❤

    • @amyflores5591
      @amyflores5591 2 года назад

      That's almost exactly what I thought! Who on earth are the people who gave thumbs down? You're absolutely right. There are people who are just plain nasty, but we just have to remember it's most likely because they're miserable people, and perhaps they deserve our pity.
      Sirin, this is a fantastic video, and you did a great job showing the placement of the stitches. Some videos are difficult to watch because they sometimes use different parts of a stitch than is standard, yet they don't say anything about it. Thank you both!!!

      It would depend on your personal tension, the yarn you use, and hook size. Make a swatch and measure it, then go from there - it should be very accurate due to the nature of this stitch, being that there's no stitch multiples to consider. Here is a link to a tutorial for a stitch calculator: stardustgoldcrochet.com/2018/08/14/crochet-stitch-calculator-crochet-design-tools-calculate-your-stitch-multiples-to-fit-your-desired-project-size/
