    Looking for a crochet stitch that is solid with a cool pattern? You have got to try the Herringbone Hdc crochet stitch. It is worked up differently than you are use to making this stitch quite intriguing and fun. This stitch works up really fast too and is great to be used with all yarn sizes.

    Thank you. I'm left handed but have learned to crochet in a right handed world so to speak. I've found when learning from a right handed person to sit in front of and facing the person that their right hand becomes my left and thats how I learned. Im glad that you have some left handed videos though. Lol ! Thanks for sharing. 🙂❤

    Just ran across your channel. I’ve made 2 scarves using this stitch. I learned the stitch from a different video and was only making one turning stitch and starting the new row in the first stitch. The ends of the turning rows resembled a picket fence. Is there a way to make the turns more even. I learned the basics of crochet from my grandmother when I was a young boy so my knowledge is limited. I’m trying different borders for the scarves I’ve made with minimal success, the corners never look squared off to me. I’ve subscribed so I can hopefully improve my crochet work.

      Hi Tim! Welcome to my channel! Hmm, maybe try making a small swatch of this pattern using the technique I did to begin each row for that flatter side. If your sides still aren't turning out the way you would like you could maybe try blocking your projects to make the sides stay the way you want OR maybe a border would do the trick as well. 😊🧶🧡

    What projects is this stitch best for, does it fall nicely for a blanket?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Год назад

      Oh this falls beautifully for blankets. I’ve seen this stitch used for tote bags/ purses/ scarves, pillows, many things. I guess it all depends on what project YOU see and are inspired to make. 😊❤️🧶

    Hi Tiffany, I’m wondering if when you have time to look at “ The Crochet Crowd “ visiting his tutorial on Bernat blanket herringbone blanket with borders and fringe on both ends, if you would do a tutorial on how to do this pattern, he is too advanced and way too fast to follow as I am a beginner and what he thinks is easy isn’t to me, I like your tutorials you go slow and can follow you much easier, I have done your herringbone which was great to follow and came out beautiful! Just wondered if you would consider showing how to make this other one for beginners like me?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  2 года назад

      Hi Jody! I've seen this pattern before and really love the blanket. I'm thinking this pattern isn't really a beginner friendly pattern. I can see how you would feel a bit lost in the process. Thank you so much for asking for my help. I'm so glad that my teaching process is easy to follow and makes sense. I would love to make this blanket! It just might take me a little while being that my tutorial list is already set. Keep checking back to see if it has shown up on mt channel. 😊🧡🧶

    Hello, I’d love this pattern,, but I’m a bit confused Are you decreasing the size when going into the third chain from the hook initially?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  7 месяцев назад

      Great question. So, when beginning row 1, we place our crochet hook in the third chain allowing the skipped two chains to become our "turning chains" or our very first stitch. Yes, it will shrink the length just a little bit, but you can adjust by making your foundation chain a little bit longer so you don't loose length when working row 1. 😊❤️🧶
