Something I'd highly recommend for this build to make it more offensive than defensive is two increases to Resolve. Once you have full resolve, use your Ultimate, use Liquid Courage, immediately use your Ult again. That paired with increases melee resolve gain means you're almost constantly using your Ult to take out whole groups of enemies. It's like a full on berserker build that rewards you for playing offensive.

The bow I have found to be most useful for me is the bow with "ranged resolve gain increase" I believe it is, I keep hitting headshots and it quickly fills my resolve for that ultimate!

i haven't played this in months but lol, they gave samurai a fire ability to keep up with Archer and Ronin with out having to resort to taking damage to build resolve for Ult spam.

I also use this build mode to play survival . But my long-range weapon I use is the ronin's forbidden medicine. The special vocabulary of samurai amulet uses super armor and blessing attack, and the samurai sword is equipped with double damage of stunt and melee combat, which can have good endurance in both multiplayer and single-player battles

Hella people are asking: liquid courage gives you 1 OR UP TO 2 resolve. It isn't guaranteed to get 2 every time.
I call my build the resolve beast i stacked melee resolve damage and ult damage for a potential total of 50% melee resolve and 40% ult damage plus liquid courage with damage resolve gain it’s a beast
How can i get the armor he has on ?
Been playing legends for over a year. Got every class to 120, play new nightmares almost every week, all my builds I made op, but out of the hundreds of gold and nightmares I’ve done I’ve never gotten a single masamunes edge. I’m starting to think it doesn’t exist because I looked at the list of legendaries and this is one I don’t have.

bow who cares
sam charm = perfect parry, fire dmg, leeching parry, and fire master
dirt throw = perfect parry & status effect duration fired up & rancid
B.O.L.C. =dmg reduction &injured resolve gain
I'm not a fan of the kunai but I may try a version of your ronin build. I'll tweek it a bit because I don't play as offensive.
got this sword but never used it, stone striker amd master katana are great
awesome video, my build is very similar
my build is master katana with full melee damage and ultimate damage, perks are way of the flame and burning blade
ranged is sugaru sight with full ranged damage and ranged resolve gain, perks are shield piercing and helmet piercing
charm is samurai charm with full melee damage and perfect parry window, perks are super armor and blessed strikes
ghost weapon is kunai with full melee damage and cooldown reduction on kill, perks are hidden blades and super massive
ghost weapon 2 is healing gourd with full damage reduction and injured resolve gain, perks are strong brew and sudden resolve
techniques are raging flame, additional legendary, resolve increase and hachiman frenzy
this build is fantastic for everything and every mode, whether its nightmare story, nightmare survival, nightmare rivals or anything for the trails
don't underestimate the power of sugaru, it's incredibly strong and suitable for a lot of modes, it might take time to know the positing and when to use it effectively
also, i use water stance the most, if you want to use water katana or another sword and have another legendary it's ok but i like having the stances as they cover any weaknesses
What!!! They nerfed the liquid courage resolve.. that makes sense. It's still strong but would've been better if they kept is as 1-3 and just made the rng a bit harder to get 3

you need to bind things to your samurai and rank him up as well
My build is almost like this. But i have Yoshitsune's hand as my sword. It has water stance from the start so you can put another roll in it. I have blessed strikes and way of the flame. It's a great build.

@@MrParaLol I do the same. With fire master as well. So i can still give fire dmg when class ability is cooling down.
I managed to make a health build for samurai, it's pretty decent and does it's job if you pay attention to enemies and know how to parry perfectly.
I can go on gold missions without hitting quarter health. Half health curse with gyozin (forgot spelling) makes no difference.
I've made a healing build for the Assassin. I didn't want to at first because I'm usually at full health at all times, but I did it because even when playing survival at platinum....I always see others with low health.

(Play some matches so you can roll about 6 times, then Google how 5o save scum with ps4 cloud) roll the stat if it's not what you want then save scum and try again. Easiest way to get perfect rolls
I know people love water stance but I'd go for moon stance as my perk stance on masamunes edge. For some reason, those kicks do a ton of damage.

I've been using the master Katana for my samurai build, melee charm, half bow. as well as sticky/smoke bombs.
Smoke bomb for samurai is utter poppycock
Masters katana is mid, waste of a legendary slot, just use water or moon stance.

Yeah it’s better to switch to that and instead of 2 legendary items take the 25% damage technic

With Masamunes? If you mean rolling the stat to get water stance then yes....and triangle is your friend. Hands down best stagger breaker for all Enemies. Definitely recommend water stance with masamunes

Definitely get a water stance sword they are good for all enemy types and hold triangle then spam it when close to enemy. You can also use the roll button to stop any action you do pretty much instantly. Rolling is your friend

You just have to keep playing play survival at the end when you beat it you'll get perks 😉
Very nice, though I myself think that instead of burning blade, you should try to reroll for stone stance, as stone stance strikes are much faster than anything else, and all stances provided by master katanas are essentially in their stance master state without actually needing the perk. Additionally, you could also swap out the extra 2 strikes with the samurai's ultimate for a third legendary item and equip spirit kunai, specifically with max ghost weapon damage, 4 second cooldown reduction on kill, hidden blades, and super massive, as the spirit kunai can reduce all cooldowns by 10 seconds including its own when you get a kill.

Hey thanks for the build, the only thing is no matter what I do, what survival I play I cannot unlock BOTTLE OF LIQUID COURAGE. I beaten Nightmare Survival many times and still no BOLC, I've beaten all Survival in Gold countless times and still no BOLC, I've played the Severed Hearts in Story Mode on Gold tons of times and still no BOLC. I am doing it with the Samurai, I currently have 120KI and Rank 60.
Am I doing something wrong?

I played the game for a whole year all toons over level 100 and I didn't get the spirit Kunai until I was level 140 with assassin.

Can someone please exprime what he means be uploading the save i thought there was only auto saving in this game so how is that possible also if it is can someone explain how to do it
Before you reroll, press home and then press start on the application, then go to where it says uplods/download save data. Go to "select and upload" and click the most recent one. Exit out of that and reopen the game and reroll. If you didn't get what you wanted, close the app and go back into upload/download save date, but this time press "select and download" and select the save data you just uploaded. Reopen the app and repeat reroll. If you still didn't get what u wanted repeat the steps til u do

Quand tu as des équipements 110, tu peux les liés à une classe, ça c'est la maîtrise. Pour débloquer toutes les compétences, il faut avoir lié 5 équipements (Katana/Arc/Charme/Armes fantômes 1 et 2)

Still a tank. I'm an amateur but still managed to get a decent Nightmare Survival run with a similar build.

Just keep beating Nightmare survival you'll eventually get it took me a long time too to get it

i farm on "severed hearts" (first story mission) on gold difficulty. Legendaries drop rarely, but idk better way. Survive on gold dif & iyo story to hard for me i guess

Finally I can solo survival gold but impossible in nightmare survival even I own a optimized build I die in large oni crowds !
The only oni's I die by is craw oni's and archer oni's
Those bird fuckers are annoying as hell. Also if you do the nightmare where you stuck in the bubble while trying to kill the enemies can be a pain. That's why it's great to have a good team.
Purple spear onis....they have a 360 degree hit box, can't be blocked and rarely parried. Change trajectory during a spear thrust on the fly and one shot the whole team on a lucky hit....nah, they are the worse.

they are like normal gear, only they contain a small curse. Then you have to equip them and complete gear quests to purify, and this is important because it serves to activate the second Perk at 120.

It's random, it gives anywhere from 1 to 2. Not guaranteed to get 2 everytime
You can’t save scum on ps5. The legends is a different save and it only checks the cloud data. Can’t redownload.

As of Today I would say the toxic assassin and the hunter (skipping bow, liquid courage) builds have the most kill counts on nightmare, gold and story. The Hunter IMO is the most OP when used correctly! EDIT: the Fire Samurai can almost solo nightmare and the new difficulty 200+ kills every game OMG!
Toxic assassin ? Nah that is for rookies, same as your 2 legendary gear on the hunter, you are taking away the 50% chance of getting a headshot when you don’t hit the head. Add that up with the skipping now and it’s insane to change that with being able to use 2 legendary’s.
Why do people use skipping bow...indo far better with sarugami....that tri shot combined with ammo regenerate....dude I 2 and 3 shot oni

@@jakoclown4175 ult with skipping stone garentees atleast 5 headshots that can, if the build is done correctly, one shot most enemies, yes your bow is quite powerful and does rival the skipping stone, the builds used are different, a lot if skipping stone builds are ult spam and yours is, well, shoot the enemy, barely using the ult ever, either is effective, depends on what you prefere, both have equally as bad drawbacks, be it relying on resolve which can, atleast at first, make it difficult, or relying on ammo which can deplete rather fast.
All class are strong equally it depend on which perk you put on your class. There are no strongest among the four class.

Masamune is such a wasted legendary.
@༺ Ünͥicͣoͫrn ༻ Double damage triggers with 20% which is not much. And even when it triggers it only makes Sense on the Samurais Ult. So with 20% you MAYBE have 1 of his 5 strikes with double damage. Which would kill a normal Oni with one Strike. But you cannot control this. So often you waste that Double damage strike on a normal enemy etc.
