@@axt2 Why would you want to refill health like this when you can just tank up via samurai armor and basically get more hp back in resolve from being hit than you lose from said hit once you are 50% down?
Sakai is all the above, insta kill 5 and then ghost mode 3, increased dmg pretty much two shot mobs, good in duels too. I honestly prefer ronin over ghost, it’s a good mix between stealth and combat.
Gosaku in my opinion is really strong. %20 health recovery after staggered enemy kills is very good. I almost never use resolve for healing. It also looks really cool and has good variety of color options.
the ghost guide king is back! great video gooshy. one build where the sakai and ronin armors are great, is if you are optimizing for melee damage. throw some good melee damage charms on there and it is a really fun build to just cut through mobs
my 3 fav personally is Gosaku, coz its OP as hell when it comes to staggering enemy especially duels. Sarugami, coz parry in this game is satisfying as hell. And Ghost coz with the ghost stance limit being dropped less than required makes its really good for crowd control
Gosaku’s armor is my “Dueling Armor” the stagger buff plus with the right charms you can perfect parry/dodge and eat at their guard and get more licks in faster. Pairing it with the charm that causes stagger to last 6 seconds longer and the Kojiro tale becomes a point and click adventure.
every armor with stats (not including travelers) is really good depending on your build, for example i main ronin attire which he put at feels bad tier and it 1-2 shots every enemy in hard mode + stealth gain for some easy assasinations
Sakai clan armor gives a huge damage boost, you can equip charm of inari's might with versatile skills and you can destroy mongol armies and bosses with ease. Also it looks really cool with the ghost of spartan skin.
For me Travelers Attire plus the Charm of Inari to increases supplies, predator hides, bamboo, and yew wood gained from collecting is nearly a no-brainer, because you can collect more loot even while you`re in combat or while cleaning villages occupied by Mongols - sometimes there`s no chance to get the loot afterwards - and with other good charms even this armor can be effective in normal combat in the game.
Monkey armor with the charm of versatile skills, any charm with a percentage chance is 50% more likely to occur and the charm that gives a 20% chance to gain focus when hit with a death blow is the best build IMO. You can never die using this setup since the 20% is boosted to 80% making it impossible to kill you while keeping your focus topped off.
All of the armor had it use and they are damn good at it with the build they meant to go for. Besides the Broken armor and Hero of Tsushima, all the other armor had their use.
3:30 if you play on lethal you will put gosaku in higher tier, since gosaku help you a lot ln lethal 1/2 hit difference could really significantly helps
My method was just explore as much of the land as I could before doing anything else(wear the wanderer to make the map reveal faster) , then do the non-combat side actives to beef up your character, then actually start doing the quests.
While me playing the entire game with just one set of white equips. Really cool because after battle you are spilled with blood all over White dyed Ronin attire Headband of death Brutal Bandit mask Emperor's tears katana
@GooshyG Sakai armor setup with the double damage charms is op, i feel like you made the list based soley on their perks and not how they will actually perform with coresponding charms. No armor set is bad with charms boosting what they do. They just have different jobs.
Yeah bro, I have all my charms set up for melee damage and I was absolutely chopping through enemies in act 3. Plus you look like demon a it’s sick. I did the siege of yarikowa in saki armour and the cutscene was so damn badass
The Sarugami Armour Felt like a Cheat code especially in boss battles if you hit a perfect parry you pretty much guaranteed to stagger and boss with the chain of 3 all you had to do was wait perfect parry and beat em up and repeat
Tasayori’s is easily my favorite armor for various reasons: I always think Ghost of Tsushima as the perfect Assassin’s Creed game or the AC game I have always wanted. And this armor to me seems to be the closest to what an Assassin should look like in this time period. It kinda looks similar to Ezio’s and Arno’s Assassin Outfits. Plus leveling this outfit to Level 4 completely changes your play-style to become more of a Long range hunter or even sniper. especially if you have been ranking up your longbow. And it’s also SO satisfying wiping out Enemy bases from a distance without getting caught from the enemy.
I don't know if I'd really use the Kensei armor because, based on the clip you showed, that just doesn't look fun to me. I actually like to fight the enemies instead of just throwing out that special move over and over. I generally save that for my 'oh shit' move. That's why some of the armor you ranked lower I would put higher. I also factor in the look of the armor, since I'd rather be looking good and have to work a bit in a fight than be a hobo on autopilot.
Depends on the playstyle, i use kensei for the ghost weapon buff and its really fun if you like using kunai and bomb a lot also dont forget that drip on the kensei armor
For me i change armor in almost every combat scenario (u can change it while in combat) , they are so good in certain scenario. -traveller when i travel along -Kensei armor when i have enough perks to do so, or when i want to throw bomb (ghost damage boost could one shot enemy -Ghost armor when i have 5 streak kill already (they dont reset when u change armor) -Sakai armor when i want to standoff only (good for standoff streak) -Gosaku when i need to refill my health -Tadayori for range combat -Mongol commander when i commit to unstealth assassination -Sarugami when i duel a boss I play on lethal
I would place a deadly rival much higher. Put charm of blazing flame, versatile skills, fire doctrine, enduring affliction, and steadfast fire. (Last i use charm of resistance III, but any charm in that category would work) The ghost weapon dmg and extra melee dmg work together. The flame lasts for ages, even the biggest camps would rarely take more than 3 oils. With the horse upgrade you get from iki, you can double your oil reserves... and there are always some to pick up... I never run out... only downside is that a lot of mongols will just run away in terror. Side note. There is deadly rival attire armor and cosmetic for kensei armor. You can build one for camp clear with fire build and infinite resolve for duels. That way, you don't break emerson for switching armors for different content because both will look the same.
Ronin attire also not bad. Some missions you have to go stealthly. Filled with right charms, ronin attire can make those missions way easier. You can switch armor even mid combat so having multiple armors with different charms equipped can give you the edge you need on harder diffuculties.
Tadayori is S tier, you can use double charm of fortune and a charm of efficiency as well as charm of suzaru’s sight and you can take down groups of maybe 30 or more without even running the risk of getting hit lol, especially if you’re using longbow since you don’t need to worry about helmets.
From my time playing so far what i understand is armor in normal combat doesnt particularly matter, but if i have trouble with some boss i switch to gosaku so i can stagger them with 2 hits and keep them staggered.
One thing about the Tadayori Armor set that makes me not use it much is it’s just a worse version of the Archery Master’s Attire (which maybe a preorder bonus?). That set has the same concentration meter restoration, but boosts nocking speeds by 45% and concentration time by 3 seconds. That being said, Tadayori has an extra drip factor, especially once you get the Horizon Forbidden West skin for it.
The archery master attire is just a cosmetic for the tadayori armor set, the 45% nocking speed is because the player you saw with the armor is in NG+ and can upgrade the armor to level 5
Gosakus armor is my dueling armor, that stagger damage adds up in what are essentially 1v1 boss fights. Maybe check your bias before labeling something as the "best armor set" instead of your personal favorite
Actually the monkey armour does a better job at that. If you do perfect parry (which is very easy to do with that armour) you can break the stance of any boss in the game with the three follow up strikes.
Gosaku imo is probably the most broken in Melee lol Especially in lethal runs. Get the right charms, and everything is 1 shot with the obvious stagger benefit.
Mongol armor with the right charms you take about 80% less damage. Under 50% take basically no damage. It is a braindead EZ bag. Sarugami armor can also be immortal with the correct charms because of the absolutely massive resolve gains, its infinite hp
All minor charms. Charm of resolve II, charm of fortunate return x2, maxxed charm of silent (all fox dens) charm or fortune I & II. Charm of Fortune 2 and all fox dens is act 3, and level 5 armor upgrade is NG+ so pretty late game. Once you do have level 5 armor, your resolve gains are so high that you can probably switch out the charm of resolve for heavenly rebuke.
Yo I just got my ass kicked and finally got the mongol armour, disappointed it aint there.
My absolute clown ass only wearing the ronin outfit wondering why I can’t take any damage without dying
OMG! Gooshy is baaaack!!!
😆😆😆
0:57 how do you have a different stealth blade and different katana
There is a akt 3???
>Sakai Clan Armor in Dishonored
You have brought shame upon your clan
The Tadayori one I use the most actually bc u can literally wipe out camps in no time and without taking a single hit bc you headshotted all of them lmao
With the right charms paired with it like firing 3 arrows which are guaranteed headshots and/ or getting arrows back for every headshot and combining it with with all the higher chance charmes you almost have infinite arrows and spam headshots without even having to aim that good or at all
For me defo defo defo the most op armor with the Sarugami one
Good ranking tho
What charms you use?
Deciding between upgrading sarugami and todayori
@@lucasw2578 1. Charm of Sugaru‘s sight (3 Arrow headshot guarantee)
2. Charm of Izanagi (40% chance of arrow returning from a headshot)
3. Charm of fortune I (any % chance increased by 50%)
4. Charm of fortune II (same one just for stacking)
5. Charm of Concentration (increased concentration time by 2.4 seconds)
6. Charm of Terrifying Aim (enemies become terrified when you kill enemies with a headshot)
@@unreleasedradar7562 thank you!!
@@lucasw2578 but use the armor where you have better charms for and what playstyle approach you have/where u struggle more with
The Sarugami one should help you more out with like boss battles and stuff
I use tadayori for everything else like clearing camps and wandering around but not 1v1‘s for example
Playing without charms and lvl 1 sword is the best way to play. It isn't fun when you're a literal tank, and everyone dies in 2 hits
Sp you like playing unrealistic
You remind of those other types of Elden Ring players that judge you for using stuff that the game gives you to play with.
Ronin attire should be higher on the tier list
how can i upgrade sarugami armour to V instead of IV
NG+
The fifth upgrade for armor sets is unlocked upon entering new game plus
I beg you use your mic in mono mode if you're going to sit off centre
Is there a way to increase sensitivity for controllers in the pc version...its slow even though i selected fast...
I agree, maybe someone will make a mod for this
I love sarugami
No timestamps?
I agree with this
Hey what's the hat on the broken armor? I don't find it in any guide...
Sugis Kasa Hat. Can get it from an iki quest called Bloodletting
