- So this is it! The Challenge to 100% Ghost of Tsushima without dying a single time in one full one! If not my hardest challenge I've done so far, it's certainly my longest and one of my hardest! This was meant to be split into 2 parts, but I got too caught up in it and it become just 1 large part! I hope that works for you all!
I've been trying since April to beat this challenge so win or lose, here it is!
Rules
Complete every single part of the game, all collectibles, tales, story, just all it, all in 1 run without dying.
Only Iki Island Content as DLC is not counted towards the final 100%
Only deaths count, as in health goes to zero and the screen goes black. Any other game over factor like hostage going bye bye or being seen doesn't count
So yeah, don't die and 100% the game! Simple, but sure to drive me crazy!
Probably mispronounce everything even after listening to it all a trillion times

lethal difficulty got me questioning the quality of Japanese Armor
Deadass I looked into the real life armor to figure out how durable it was after playing the game and getting bodied by like one sword swipe or a single arrow.
"who needs fair, im here to win" is almost exclusivly what ghost is about lmao

I remember playing this game and i really enjoyed it but when your people betray you after everything youve singlehandedly done for them and then kill your horse and you cant even go back and attack them for it made me quit the game right there. Nice video great dedication cant imagine trying to come back after losing progress at the end like that. Thanks for letting me see how the game ends these years later.

Personally the best part about the ending for me is that, with how they're written, both choices can be easliy argued for or against. I personally only pick kill for the white armor, i think the way Jin walks away in the spare ending is the best ending imaginable but for him to honor his only family members dying wish and to be called son 1 more time by said family member? Chefs kiss to the devs for making both endings viable:) top 3 games of all time personally

on lethal it took 30+ attempts to beat ryuzo, if i had to do it your way (which i thought could be fun before your video proved me wrong) i think i would have sended my controller through the screen

Im late to this, but a major tip for the Ryuzo boss fight that worked for me after 100+ deaths on a platinum lethal run, never roll dodge. Only side step his unblockables, also, using heavy attacks more frequently bates out parable blue glint attacks and easily blockable kick attacks. Also when he gets into a slashing furry, just hold block, dont dodge. Hope this helps!

Haven't even started the video and I'm willing to put aside my pride and say I wouldn't have the patience or the resolve to try this challenge because I feel that my attitude towards this challenge would make me hate this amazing game if I attempted it
Perfectly fair response! My obsession with both the game and the challenge thankfully kept me in love with the game, but I wouldn't blame anyone else for being fed up with it!

lil' advice, parry if you can, don't doge backwards unless the attack is a sweeping attack, use the hold triangle attack with the water stance against every shield man and don't fair fight spear guys and brutes NEVER it's a dead sentence unless you have poison or ghost stance

@@Poja_0811 My first experience ever with it was my sword only challenge and that was in July 2022 so since then, I've done this challenge with Iki as well plus just recently the stealth + ghost weapons only challenge and that's all my experience with it. It's my favorite game no doubt by now!

U inspired me 2 try the same, didn’t do new game but just completed lethal+ with NO combat deaths. Even reset 3 times in act 2 so It was true start 2 finish

I tried to take a fort on Lethal difficulty, took like 3 hours with 30 - 40 deaths. Tried to be aggressive? Die. Tried to be defensive? Die. Tried to parry? Die. Tried to dodge? Die. Tried to one on one? Die. Tried to fight 20 guys at the same time? Die. Tried to do bow arrow again achers? Die (they got aimbot for sure). Tried to block/parry/be cool samurai? Absolutely destroyed. Overall, 11 out of 10, this is GOTY for me and many players, respect TLOU 2 but this one really push you over limit. Cleared almost the whole fort but died to a single arrow because I underestimate archer. And who even playing this as a stealthy shinobi, if you like that you have AC or sekiro. Let fight with honor and stand against all those Mongols!!!

You guys probably think I’m lying, but I only died about two times during the story but whenever I went to do the hundred completion I died about 85 times

285.5 hours is insane at that point I'd just get too bored to play anymore
I took much needed breaks at points, but it's such a good game that whenever I made it a few hours in, I'd be hooked every time.

Love the idea! I'd probably blow up into a million pieces if I tried but I do love the idea
I die a couple times resetting minutes of progress and ragequit…meanwhile you lose half a days worth of time and you’re just ok with it 😂 I gotta give you props my man that takes a lot of patience, I hope to be like you one day so I can actually enjoy these types of games 😂
It's not always easy, but I find focusing on the shenanigans of it all over the winning makes it easier! You got this!...Also I'm losing so much I have to get used to it! 😂

You realise killing him is the good ending, he will kill himself if you don’t anyway, thus is the samurai code
An interesting take which I know many share. From what I've read and heard in game, he doesn't die if you spare him, riding back to his castle injured. We can theorize anything after that, but I'd argue the good ending is Jin sticking to his own personal code, ignoring the samurai code since that's been the core of the whole story. Both options make sense and another part of what makes the game great

Lethal is insanely difficult. Of course I've only played about 10 hrs on the new pc version, but that demon fight had me going insane. It might have been better to do some side content first. I had zero worthwhile skills at that point.
That's super fair! The demon fight my first couple times really threw me through a loop for how much harder it is! Once you get the patterns down, everything becomes much simpler at least

I would love to, but it's been almost 5 months since I made this video and I only hold onto the footage of my challenges for 3 weeks to a month due to storage. I do intend to do a stream sooner or later of being trying to beat All of main ghost plus Iki in one life if that will work. Hopefully it won't cost as much time 😁
I have never played Ghost of Tsushima. But I planed to buy it. BUT then a offer for RDR2 came and I had to buy it. Son now I challenge you to do a RDR2 Challenge. But to be honest it's not meant to serious. Btw the challenge was epic.
I've heard so much about RDR2, that I really do need to get to it sooner or later. I'm thinking of doing an event in December for the holidays where people vote on the most requested challenges and I strive to do them then. It likely to win for that! And thank you!
