On Assasin Charm I have reduction on kill + stealth dmg and Chain Vanish. Imho its more suitable for my playstyle. Worth giving a try. And instead of touch of heaven i got Mist of Yagata, cuz gives me oportunity to heal in the middle of the battle, oportunity to revive Fallen group members and I can kill more efficient non-oni mobs. Yeah, Ult is not so power full but gives me a plan B if I dont have concusion bombs anymore. Ofc, Mist with Munitions. Worth giving a try imho. This build brought me round 240+ kills/ match
Been running a version very close to this and I can concur it wrecks. One change I made was using forbidden medicine for heals and dirt throw instead of stickies and I like the setup a lot. Back to forbidden medicine though, I have all legendaries and I feel like it might be the best or right up there with skipping stone bow. Being able to use bombs that heal is just so damn good with assassin and on nightmare that extra heal matters a lot.
I love this build, thanks. Instead of the legendary sticky bomb, I prefer to use the Mist of Yagata, which deploys a healing smoke bomb. Allows you to heal up and get loads more assassinations.
I got matched with this unstoppable assassin player who had crazy poison damage buffs. He shot an Oni with darts like 8 times that did next to nothing at first and poison tick damage kicks in a second later and the health bar vanished
The fact that this is basically, exactly how I use the assassin, I just dont have the patience and focus to develop the strategy so precisely, so thank u.
So your video inspired me to play around with the assassin.. I haven't been able to get a bomb pack yet, so I changed it up a bit. With the gear I got as much extra stealth attack damage and ability cooldown as possible. In total I have about +90% stealth attack damage. When I use the vanish ability I'm now able to assassinate Oni enemies. I also got the chain vanish on one of my gear plus the chain vanish technique, making me able to do 3 stealth attacks. So I basically just run around and vanish as much as possible and just stealth everything haha. It's not as good as your build, but it's still pretty fun! I'm going to keep trying for a bomb pack so I can try your build 😃 thanks for the video!
@@monoespacial haha yea I figured since that's the only class I've never tried, that must be why I haven't gotten the bomb pack yet. I'll have to play around with the ronin...thank you though

You could also replace the bomb pack for a blowdart with extra assassination damage and the sticky bomb for the legendary kunai with the perk that does extra damage to small enemies, and take the 2nd vanish instead of the 5 kills on ult if you want to be extra sneaky
have you tried using the masamune's edge katana? it has a 20% chance to crit. it works for samurai's ult. maybe it will work for yours too. with you spamming your ult so much. would be nice to get a crit (:

With a little skill and luck this works with me I wouldn't have been able to do this without knowing about the assassin unlock on bomb pack thank you
Assassincharm: There’s a perk that says “Cooldown Reduction on Kill: 1-2s” Some ppl seemed to have not known this but this CDR is global and works like the spirit kunai.
One problem for nightmare, it's mostly oni. So if you find a way to assassinate them with one hit let me know asap. Otherwise the re-vanish is practically useless.
Have you tried this build with spirit kunai? With double cooldown reduction it resets itself and gives 15 second cooldown on vanish and smoke, you can get your smoke back insanely fast and more munitions drops
The damage the kunai make is pretty bad which often means you have to shoot them at enemies that are *almost* dead. Plus, you lose the ability to self-heal with the sticky bomb, which has saved me on many occasions. I've done a Ronin build that uses the Kunai because they get +50% damage increase for it, so they end up one-shotting all regular enemies.
@@monoespacial yeah I feel that haha I use it with supermassive and just target the enemies that are low health from the bombs. I use the healing bomb on my try hard class but the kunai is soo fun once you know what health it kills at
It doesn't really matter when you are playing survival because everyone is just going to kill the hallucinating enemies anyway. Great for story mode though.
I run a similar build. The difference is I run super massive kuni to finish off multiple kills and I run the healing smoke bomb since it heals more than the healing sticky bomb especially since I'll be in the area of the healing smoke while getting assassin kills rather than a small burst of healing
Bro please tell me how did you get it (the bomb pack)? Playing as assassin and you get the assassin unlock or playing as ronin? Please answer me when you can

When using sticky bomb. You must know the wave and throw at the first person, smoke down. Sticky bomb goes off. Throw your bombs. Resolve gain. Smoke gain and also sticky regain. My build is a killer
Using spirit kunai and focusing on simply assassinating is better imo. Stacking chain vanish twice also means that's a free kill that will reduce your cooldown guaranteed even further if you're using reduce cooldown on kill. I only use the ult to get out of danger, kill the oni archers, or teleport to a zone. The bombs are a must in survival or even aggressive stealth in story. There's no way to heal but if you have a Ronin on your team you should be fine. Even without a heal you can purchase the regenerate health ability in Survival which is enough.
you can switch the bomb for the legendary kunai with the super massive perk for even more cooldown since every kill with that reduces 15 secs for every cooldown on your character
didnt get the sticky bomb he has but mist of yagata is a pretty good replacement. smoke bomb heals allies, stealth attack 25, cooldown reduction 15, and creates ammo pickups on use. i feel like the extra ammo makes up for no cooldown on kill. it sucks to have to wait a few more seconds on cooldown but you can roll away and use the 5 or 6 bombs you just gained instead.
Think the hallucination perk is better than the chain vanish. Especially in nightmare, where you can snag selective and smart assassinations, driving onis to fight eachother and lessen the attacks on your allies.
I think any loss of DPS on Nightmare is detrimental, which is why you see Ronins and Hunter teams dominating the leaderboards. Hallucination is very hit or miss. Sometimes enemies will still attack your team. The rate at which enemies damage each other is very slow. Critical striking still does a massive amount of damage. I often use the first vanish to kill a lesser enemy and then use the second to critical strike. Killing that 1st enemy fills your resolve and provides ideally a +5 second cooldown reduction to your ghost weapons. Some people really like hallucination, but I just find enemies caught with it are helping you enough.
Being able to decimate an army is great; but at the same time, a good build must be able to contribute to bonus objectives as well. Defeating enemies with fire, ranged kills and headshots, and perfect parries are all bonus objectives that I notice being failed more than others. Missing out on shrines for reforging.
@@monoespacial The principle of grinding could be applied to your build as well. The difference being yours is based around finishing the survival as quickly as possible through aggressive tactics, where as others are based on having a wide range of methods for dealing with whatever the game asks of you. Creating a build with a sole intention of max damage output is the other side of the spectrum to creating builds for challenges. I personally find running a mission repeatedly boring compared to changing up play style constantly. I can get 240+ kills with a hunter while also completing bonus objectives. Quality over quantity. If anything, all I ask of an assassin is to be able to complete the assassination objective, 5 kills from above.
Thank you for the video, this is by far the best assassin build I’ve come across. However I’d disagree using Critcal hit rank 2, instead the Super strike is better because you can do a 2x damage assassination, meaning you can assassinante most of the oni. Also on my “Touch of Heaven” I have +20.0% damage increase as property 2 and on my “Mist of Yagata” my 1st property is +25.0% stealth Attack damage. Also just out of personal preference I have the legendary technique instead of the +2 strikes, but again that’s just personal preference. The build is insane, I’m gonna try to use it for the raid. Keep up the great work!!
Really fun build with Assasin, my Hysteria Build(also good in NM Survival) Techniques: Group Vanish/ Super Strike/ Experienced Assasin/Chain Vanish.........GEAR: Sword is your preference// Ranged Bomb Pack: blast radius,SE duration//CHARM: Stealth attack damage, Oni Damage, HYSTERIA //GW1 Spirit Kunai: Damage increase,CDR on kill, super massive//GW2 Stealth attack damage,CDR on kill, munitions or lucky
Forbidden medicine with melee stagger damage and blast radius is better than legendary sticky bomb. I use kunai with 12% melee dmg. Definitely shoot for 40% ultimate damage...very good
I've seen Hunter do fire damage and headshots like hell and it's quite upsetting they left session feeling triggered they didn't get chance to kill enemies
i have this build but use Spirit Kunai for insane cdr instead of sticky bomb. if you can manage good rolls on an assassin charm, id go for Hysteria instead of chain vanish since you're using bomb pack which cant roll any stealth atk dmg on it, i personally use combat healing. you basically never want flat cooldown reduction, you only care abt cdr on kill. one or two kills with cdrok can outperform flat cdr. go for ghost weapon dmg instead.
I've done runs with legendary kunai and also with Histeria on Nightmare. Gustaría Is absolutely worthless in my opinion. It doesn't last too long and sometimes enemies will attack you anyway under it's effects. Even if they attack other enemies, the attack rate is poor. They mostly just run around doing nothing for a few seconds. Overall it provides nothing of value in my opinion, and nightmare runs I did with it were harder than the ones with chain vanish. The kunai don't do enough damage to be reliable with the Assassin, in my opinion as well. The bomb ghost weapon does provide some assassination opportunities!
I have hallucination on my assassin charm. So when i use bomb pack then smoke bomb to assasinate, non oni enemies or enemies with low health die soon and shadow strike can focus on brute oni with massive health

@@Stjimmyrulesx I'll say it's less intense then nightmare survival but do require quite abit of communication
@@uvicjackson just beat my first nightmare survival today. similar build except i had a healing ammo drop smoke. sucked not having the cooldown on kill, but not a bad trade off.
would swap out the legendary sticky bomb for the legendary smoke bomb in nightmare. most archers are using some sort of status arrows (poison/fire) in nightmare so the legendary smoke bomb will not only provide heals and munitions for the group, but will net some free damage for the rest of the group. i actually always have my group run smoke bombs with munitions.
assassin has to be the best build bro its basically every build in one
Only Assasin left to lvl up for the trophy. I'm more of a Ronin guy, but definetly will be trying this build, as I finished Nightmare Survival today (no zones lost) & literally got SHOWERED with legendary class items.
Dude. HOLY F*CK. It took me FOREVER to get everything you have with every single exact property. But oh my lord can I say that it paid off. Max level 110 with this build and all the same properties you've have on every piece of gear and I am absolutely shredding everything. Also not to brag but some of my stats on my gear are higher than yours ;) aye man I really appreciate it though you definitely earned a sub. Good build
This made my day
On Assasin Charm I have reduction on kill + stealth dmg and Chain Vanish.
Same here
as someone that is trying to do this build im having an issue with the fact that experienced assassin isnt available as a skill
I got matched with this unstoppable assassin player who had crazy poison damage buffs. He shot an Oni with darts like 8 times that did next to nothing at first and poison tick damage kicks in a second later and the health bar vanished
You should add the kunai that reduces all Cooldowns by 15seconds on kill. Roll it with more damage and you can reduce cooldowns like crazy
Kunai pretty sucks even with its short cooldown time
Assassin is my main ,with samurai as a near 2nd. I will thoroughly enjoy this build.
Play as Ronin to get the bomb pack!
@@monoespacial haha yea I figured since that's the only class I've never tried, that must be why I haven't gotten the bomb pack yet. I'll have to play around with the ronin...thank you though
Guy has the quality of a 1 mil sub channel
In nightmare survival i got 347 kills on my assassin stealth build, this gave me some nice ideas to tweak my stuff, thanks
Hey bro, what's your best assassins build for NM Survival? :)
this is a rly cool build and i love how you can just tear down wave after wave. My only problem is it is such aa grindy thing to get for someone who mostly plays hunter like me
Thanks for the tips! 🙏🏽
Amazing video, this build is so OP!!!
Glad you like it!
This isn’t a broken 0P class. It’s a good build lol
Nah it’s pretty broken. No other assassin build is better rn especially for survival
What is a broken op class then? 🤔
@@shadymilkman443 1 shot everything that’s classed as broken
I think OP's saying that the assassin class itself is not op, the build is.
@@Adoe123 nah its def not broken. I got a way better build which i farmed nightmare survival with.
You could also replace the bomb pack for a blowdart with extra assassination damage and the sticky bomb for the legendary kunai with the perk that does extra damage to small enemies, and take the 2nd vanish instead of the 5 kills on ult if you want to be extra sneaky
That's a fundamentally different build focusing on single target damage. I'm thinking about doing a build like that soon.
Listen use explosive blade and way of the flame combo is free resolve try out!
How I get the golden sticky bombs pack 💣?
You need to grind first story mission. Just got this item yesterday. I was on Rank 18 with average Ki level 85.
Amazing video! I´m playing in 2024 and it´s sooooo helpfull! Thanks for it!!! 💪
have you tried using the masamune's edge katana? it has a 20% chance to crit. it works for samurai's ult. maybe it will work for yours too. with you spamming your ult so much. would be nice to get a crit (:
Would be worth legendary slot if it affects assassination
@@zanetusken no, the legendary slot in assassin is not worth
@@McLOVlN it's definitely worth it what do u mean depending on your build will benefit your gameplay I have all legendary weapons and by far that a very useful build with a melee+ damage build if you're not focused on stealth on assassin
@@monkeykingss4luffy786 yeah assassin pull off the 2 legendary slots, still, in some classes is a waste (for example ultimates that gain 2 more attacks is just a game changer if you got ult dmg, specially in nightmare) n yeah i got all legendary stuff, there is 110 class items better than legendary items tho, i got all cus of farming glitch tho 🤫
@@McLOVlN idk I me personally I don't use the chain because samurai chain attack is superior I'll rather stick to my hallucination build or melee+ damage build
I've beat nightmare difficulty with something similar only difference is i have two legendary weapons one being master sword and kenjis brew which has strong brew so I keep up with oni and non oni. With a little skill and luck this works with me I wouldn't have been able to do this without knowing about the assassin unlock on bomb pack thank you
Assassincharm: There’s a perk that says “Cooldown Reduction on Kill: 1-2s”
Some ppl seemed to have not known this but this CDR is global and works like the spirit kunai.
Hi, do I understand correctly, that it reduces cooldown for my allies as well?
One problem for nightmare, it's mostly oni. So if you find a way to assassinate them with one hit let me know asap. Otherwise the re-vanish is practically useless.
Not a problem at all. Ult or melee/Bomb to get them low then stealth kill
I run my assassin exactly like this, except I have one extra resolve, just helps with using the ultimate more
Have you tried this build with spirit kunai?
I use the healing bomb on my try hard class but the kunai is soo fun once you know what health it kills at
Nice build. I play a 110 assassin. When it comes to the charm, I prefer Hysteria. It’s a game changer
Hi there,really nice build mate,👍
This looks like a grate build but I love my fire build it's just amazing still need to re roll some stats but I love it
I'm using this build with slightly different perks but it destroys waves this is so good
I just got the bomb pack and it came with assassin unlock. Heaven sent
Bro please tell me how did you get it (the bomb pack)? Playing as assassin and you get the assassin unlock or playing as ronin? Please answer me when you can
@@renzopedemonte You get it in your rewards at the end of a match but you have to be using the ronin and for the assassin unlock I just got lucky enough for it to come with the assassin unlock
@@legendchad4028 thank you, for the assassin unlock just I will change the benefit until I get it and there I go haha. I already got it doing a couple of mission after I asked you lol
I just tried it because I been just grinding for gear didn't know I had a few pieces And ran NS.... And WOW got 259 kills and beat it thanks for the tips.
Glad you liked it!!! So happy that people are finding it fun!
Lol you've changed the game for me man. Thank you!
That's awesome. Glad to help!
It's an okay build. If you're only playing Gold Survival, I'd consider Spirit Kunai which lets you reset ALL cooldowns on a kill.
Hysteria build is the best build imo. But since nightmare this week isn’t effected by status effects this build works in nightmare.
Search about Hysteria in assassin charm. With a single stealth kill you can make enemies fight each other... including onis.
cool video and interesting build, will definitely try this
Water katana melee resolve and oni. Way of the flame. Legendary bomb. Sticky bomb with all cool downs with fire. Smoke with all cool down and ammo.
When using sticky bomb. You must know the wave and throw at the first person, smoke down. Sticky bomb goes off. Throw your bombs. Resolve gain. Smoke gain and also sticky regain. My build is a killer
Finally something rivals my skipping stone
now that magma bomb is a thing I switched out the heavens touch for magma bomb
I disagree, if you want to grind resources go play story. You will get them faster that way. The build for story mode would be entirely different.
If you use way of the flame while using your ult it does more damage
Really fun build with Assasin, my Hysteria Build(also good in NM Survival) Techniques: Group Vanish/ Super Strike/ Experienced Assasin/Chain Vanish.........GEAR: Sword is your preference// Ranged Bomb Pack: blast radius,SE duration//CHARM: Stealth attack damage, Oni Damage, HYSTERIA //GW1 Spirit Kunai: Damage increase,CDR on kill, super massive//GW2 Stealth attack damage,CDR on kill, munitions or lucky
My Sword is Water Katana with Melee Damage, Ultimate Dam, poison blade (fastest in my opinion to stagger when it procs)
6:58 that was so funny xD
Can you roll the bomb pack as assassin or do you have to play ronin to roll it and then reroll for assassin unlock?
Unlock it as a ronin class and then change the perk
@@Adoe123 thanks!
I have a build in which all the perks are about resolve gain and ultimate damage.
It's a beast!
Wow so many updates since this video
i have this build but use Spirit Kunai for insane cdr instead of sticky bomb.
if you can manage good rolls on an assassin charm, id go for Hysteria instead of chain vanish since you're using bomb pack which cant roll any stealth atk dmg on it, i personally use combat healing.
you basically never want flat cooldown reduction, you only care abt cdr on kill. one or two kills with cdrok can outperform flat cdr. go for ghost weapon dmg instead.
I use very similar build, but I dont have PS+ so I can only play offline... been spamming to level 15 wit this tactics :)
Hi, what do you think about the legendary kunai to reduce your cooldowns?
I have hallucination on my assassin charm. So when i use bomb pack then smoke bomb to assasinate, non oni enemies or enemies with low health die soon and shadow strike can focus on brute oni with massive health
Nice vidio im going to use this
Fantastic Video my man, Great info. Only thing Id say is maybe speed it up by 1.25x

Great video! I do have a question when adjusting the stats of an item do you have to reroll the item until it has everything but one stat that needs to be changed, and then reroll just that stat. Is it possible to get an item with all the stats the way you need them. I noticed if you change just one stat you cant change the others unless you reforge. Trying hard to get your setup.
