They all picked everyone but ronin, and told me to in was the most op and to unlock him for my first hero… little did I know how op he truly was, they where trying to troll me but they now love using ronin too😂
Tip: While grinding for spirit kunais and demon seed caltrops you can substitute them with the touch of heaven and standard caltrops with the same perks on them
Dope video, was getting burnt out on my fire blade samurai and luckily had all the loot to fully spec my ronin this way and have been having a blast with it.
Nice video. As a Ronin main, I run a similar build with a couple of changes. First, I do use legendary stone striker katana + epic caltrops (instead of epic katana + demon seeds). This gives me the ability to finish off big Onis with stone strikes, at the expense of losing weaken effect from the demon seeds. Second, I run health regen as the second perk on my stealth charm (instead of impactful throws) + addtl 50% ronin on perk #2... which is actually really nice. Although this doesn’t allow me to heal my teammates, it really allows a more fluid play style (you don’t have to sit in place waiting to heal with your incense pot). Plus, now every class can heal & seems almost everyone is running forbidden medicine now. I think these two changes add a little bit more DPS to the build... which I think makes a difference and is helpful in nightmare survival/rivals (tougher enemies). Overall, solid build & nice video. 😎

Your build is definitely more solid for Kunai styled players. Best build for a Kunai I've seen in a very long time. Played the Ronin since day one and I cannot switch from the striker build. White lie I now use rebuke now (because I can finally use a water katana with Heavenly Strike). Sticky Bomb is better for that build IMO and you need 5 resolve because like you said someone dies and you can lose the area.

On nightmare the ronin has one big flaw with this build. Your melee damage is not sufficient enough for quick kills. Especially in survival nightmare you see the problem.

This build is crazy. I’m running stone striker and spirit kunai until I get demon seeds. But I use caltrops instead of smoke for the ghost weapon damage att. The biggest difference was when I got hidden blades. Night and day difference, so OP. Got over 220 kills in gold survival lol. Everybody else was under 50. I’m thinking if putting deep bags on my caltrops instead of munitions but I’m worried about running out of bombs
I'm doing the opposite, a new game + in hard level with no weapon or armor improvement without using kunai or bombs but with all sword, samourai and ghost weapon technics. It's a real challenge for those who like sword fights, especially with the last update and the improvement of the strategies. They can delay their move and it's very deadly because if you dodge too soon, they will wait to hit you after your move. I had to get use to it because it changes the moment you are free to change your posture. If you prepare your posture too soon, NPCs will switch and you won't be attacked by the one you expected. They also use fake moves to sent you near the one who will attack. They like to hit you just when you are about to kill one of them. Lucky me, they never start their attack from outside the screen where they are invisible (except for archers) and never attack both at the same time. They can also hit from very far away, the step back is to be avoided at all cost. It doesn't work with Iki Island, the difficulty is the same with or without armor and sword improvement.
Dope build but I just like the playstyle for the Ronin Heavenly Rebuke a little better. Yeah you may not get as many kills (220 or so instead of like 250 on average) but it's just a more fun playstyle for me.

I totally understand the magic behind min/max builds, that is the all point in this type of game, but I also understand from personal experience how uninteresting it is to play this game with OP team mates. It gets really boring and basically in a team based game if you are not doing anything with the team...well you might as well leave. It only happened to me once or twice, but running around the map just to get there and have nothing to do makes no sense. Sucker Punch should make wave spawn points random, the amount of players spawn camping takes away the tension and dynamic of the game.
Random Spawns would be amazing, I'd like to be kept at the edge of my seat and it really does make it much more dynamic. I hope they implement it later.
Yeah its always like that now. i have pretty OP builds on all 4 characters but i try to hang back and let people have fun at least. I would leave for sure playing with this guy.

Hah, i made almost the exact same as your first build only a few days ago. I'm not so good as to clear Gold Survival all by myself, though. Still only up to Wave 10 or so.
i was thinking what if you had a samurai and had two legendary´s in techniques,spirit kunai and bottle of liquid courage so you can damage the enemies then use your kunai to get your bottle of liquid courage to get your bars up then use your ultimate and if it doesn´t fill it up all the way just do the process again with the kunai
For me I like to use stone striker with way of the flame and stone master with epic caltrops, so I keep my ghost weapon damage and get heavenly strike, I usually just use my spirit kunai spams to get resolve back

There must have been a nerf to kinai. Because my build does even more damage because I've min maxed ghost damage plus stealth attack dmg with smoke bomb and I can not kill oni and trash limbs that quick. Min amxed every stat + 50% perk with ronin. Although I still get on average 220-250 kills. Finished with 317 fire ronin.

How are you getting two major/bottom perks on your gear (e.g., fire master + impactful throws at 9:49)? I tried googling that and am coming up with nothing?
You'll need to use curse items when you level your gear up to lvl 120, then you can add another property by sacrificing a curse gear of the same type to the weapon you want to add it to. It will be a random one though, and curse gear can be a pain to purify so just be careful what you add it on :)

Depends on what kind of ronin you’re making I have a build where I have a 110% increase to ghost weapon damage and my stealth charm also has a cdr on kill so I get everything back faster
I pretty much run that build but I just have the one legendary which is the kunai I do run the healing others perk and use my ultimate to heal my team mates because they are getting my healing to it is pretty much an instant heal
@@TheRealTact yeah that was my second character, so I was able to start him out at ki 110. (Now 120 of course) And yes, that build is still AMAZING. Especially gold survival. I top the charts and second isn't even close, ever.

I can understand people quitting on you, after a long days work and just maybe having an hour of time to game having someone do everything for you and not being able to enjoy the game and just standing there doing nothing. i would quit and find a game with some challange to enjoy the little time i have to play.
They should go to Nightmare then, most the time in Gold it’s just people racking up kills. Gold essentially became the new Bronze for players with refined builds. In Nightmare you can’t be so reckless and even if you do have a refined build it doesn’t mean you can go Wild like in Gold. Been having a blast in Nightmare, we may not win every time but the fact that everyone actually works as a team and don’t focus on kills is what I love.
@@CentauriTT there is a big gap between doing gold to get gear and tackling NM. Only douchs do this in gold. If I do gold I just camp one spot. So the newer players only have to worry about 2 points and not 3. Good enough and everybody gets to kill. It's shit like this that get stuffed nerfed lol
@@Lenown Bro even people hate when you camp a spot, people just assume you do so to score the most kills. IE camping Barracks. Or Ledge in the new map by Lighthouse. Or in general the point you know is attacked the most. People equally would say that’s a dick thing to do. All in all this is why I don’t play gold. You get all that. In Nightmare you don’t get this most the time. This is why I stopped going into Gold. Nobody camps we all get to participate. Only time as a Samurai I barely got in a slice was when 3 ult spam Hunters were on my team. But even then I excused it as I was already pretty tired by my last few matches.

And yeah you’d be surprised how many people leave mid game if you even out-kill them. It’s why Gold became too toxic for me. Also a main reason why I run Rivals a lot. There’s a mode where kills do matter. Fastest usually gets to Last Stand wave quicker for the W. But I guess people wanna flex in Survival.
You can’t avoid doing 5 challenges to level up from 110KI ti 120 - remember to save game before rolling any challenge or perk in order to reload in case of a bad roll

If anyone is still watching this the trials of iyo mode is really fast and gives 1-3 legendaries per run usually

Does this build work if I swap ranged for FORBIDDEN MEDICINE & use epic caltrop?

Damn, I'm not saying this in a negative way, but this build just seems so goofy, like you're literally just throwing kunais, idk how you get bored, but you're still right, it's op!
I can understand people quitting on you, after a long days work and just maybe having an hour of time to game having someone do everything for you and not being able to enjoy the game and just standing there doing nothing. i would quit and find a game with some challange to enjoy the little time i have to play.
They should go to Nightmare then, most the time in Gold it’s just people racking up kills. Gold essentially became the new Bronze for players with refined builds. In Nightmare you can’t be so reckless and even if you do have a refined build it doesn’t mean you can go Wild like in Gold. Been having a blast in Nightmare, we may not win every time but the fact that everyone actually works as a team and don’t focus on kills is what I love.
@@CentauriTT there is a big gap between doing gold to get gear and tackling NM. Only douchs do this in gold. If I do gold I just camp one spot. So the newer players only have to worry about 2 points and not 3. Good enough and everybody gets to kill.

@@Lenown Bro even people hate when you camp a spot, people just assume you do so to score the most kills. IE camping Barracks. Or Ledge in the new map by Lighthouse. Or in general the point you know is attacked the most. People equally would say that’s a dick thing to do. All in all this is why I don’t play gold. You get all that. In Nightmare you don’t get this most the time. This is why I stopped going into Gold. Nobody camps we all get to participate. Only time as a Samurai I barely got in a slice was when 3 ult spam Hunters were on my team. But even then I excused it as I was already pretty tired by my last few matches.
@@CentauriTT that's why when I do gold. I go to the least spawned area. And nightmare I do the same thing. Camp one area and kill the wave at the start. Kills don't matter in this game. It's just a flex for people with security issues to brag about
@@Lenown Still even camping in general people will see it as you not helping the team it’s all confusing. I don’t camp, I stick with the team. And yeah you’d be surprised how many people leave mid game if you even out-kill them. It’s why Gold became too toxic for me. Also a main reason why I run Rivals a lot. There’s a mode where kills do matter. Fastest usually gets to Last Stand wave quicker for the W. But I guess people wanna flex in Survival.

I’m afraid that’s impossible
You can’t avoid doing 5 challenges to level up from 110KI ti 120 - remember to save game before rolling any challenge or perk in order to reload in case of a bad roll
I got a legendary with every fighting stands why I don't see anyone with it

How the fuck did you get the stealth charm to have all those perks. I've spent so much and can't get them all.
Charms just take forever to get the right stuff on. Especially legendary charms. Upload download method is the most useful on them

When I was new to Legends I did a mastery challenge for the Spirit Kunai on my Assassin. Will I never be able to use it on the Ronin now? :(
