@@HillAndPonton if you don’t mind me asking, for criterion G for PTSD, do you know if this criterion has varying degrees or is it strictly “ the disturbance causes clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational or other important areas of functioning” just curious if this correlates to a specific rating or if this is just a criteria that has to be met. I have recently had a c&p exam done. The NP stated ony exam that I had pre-existing injuries. My question is how can the NP state that on my exam when all he did was exam me but never asked any questions that would lead to the conclusion that I had pre-existing conditions.
I have dizziness/vestibular condition due to toxic exposure JP-5 fuel, diesel fuel, and industrial solvents. What should I expect during C&P examination?

I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and severe depression and have 3 inpatient stays. My question is should I list anxiety first for in service which over the last 25 years have lead to severe depression? Thank you
One thing to keep in mind is that the VA rates mental health conditions under the same disability criteria meaning they should be looking at the worst symptoms and rating a veteran accordingly.
So if I am in state with one party consent, I cannot record my C&P exam? What law prevents me from record a C&P exam for the VA? I cannot violate my own HIPAA rights!?!?!
Youre not wrong. I think is a liability thing, what if someone "loses" the recording and ends up in youtube then they sue the VA. THey might not win BUT I guarantee you the employees that allowed it will get disciplined.

He is supos ed to have read your service treatment records before examining you, as far as I understand.

My C & P exam results and notes were not in the Health Vet system.
If you have a local VSO they can pull them up and print your dbq from your c&p. Other than that you have to file a FOIA to get your Claim file
