@ketoman8873 it's wonky, but easy to understand once it's explained. Say you get a rating of 50%, that means 50% of you is still good. Say you get a second rating of 50%; that's 50% of your remaining good 50%, so it takes you to 75...which rounds up to 80%. At that point, you have 20% good left. Say you get another disability rated at 50%. That is 50% of your remaining 20%, so raises you from 80 to 90% disabled. Say you get ANOTHER disability rated 50%. That bumps you to 95% which rounds up to 100%. The higher you get, the more it requires to get to the next rating. I'm not saying it's right, but it's the way they rate

Better off being denied and apealonf them with a lawyer these rating “idiots” aka specialist do not even know the CFR and the appeal will trump a moron who does follow the rules. I been there fk the VA study the cfr know the cfr and you won’t even need a lawyer and always select to take it right down to a hearing in person in Washington because that shows you mean business and the likely hood they even want you to go to Washington is nill. Cite the cfr and they won’t have a leg to stand on … but make sure you do at minimum have a lawyer look over your doctors dbq and nexus if you try and fight this on your own.

If you have 70% and then get a 50%, they will do 50% of 30%. Leaving you at 85%. Your next % will be of that last 15%.
@@Blaxspirit Your example clarifies the question. I assume then the only way to get to 100% is to get a rating of 100%. That is the math as I see it. Did I miss something?
@@kyleb8670 Thanj you. I get it now!
You guys need to remember that not everyone knows short initials for acronyms. Don't be lazy and throw out letters like C&P thinking everyone knows what that is. Please.
I've been listening to some of the postings. But end up only getting some of what is said.
Sucks to suck

The presentation should read : Clinical psychologist( Ph.D. )" not " Doctor " . I asked my " older C & P " Doctor " how many covid shots have you had - he said four. I told him he should have had six [ initial covid 19 (2) , boosters (2), bivalent boosters (2) ] .This told me I'm being evaluated by a " Doctor " who doesn't take care of business and is not conscientious . Shakespeare wrote , " the patient must minister to himself "and the DSTM - 5 is a folio for half -wits ( everything is a mental illness ) .
I hate the system!!! One big game!!!
38min in "what if the # comes in as spam" don't think you're understanding what that means to us older vets. SCARES THE FRACK OUTTA ME!
I don't answer unknown numbers.
cfr 38 3.326 section A and B states that your own private doctors dbq is key word “adequate” I’m not a lawyer but I would highly say to never go to a c&p if you have adequate examination and records from your own doctors especially for mental health.
It’s states they need to use your doctors report for compensation purposes.
Never trust a c&p examiner they have NO right in my opinion to form ANY sort of diagnosis who the hell are they!! Your own doctor knows you better some some quack who makes a diagnosis in 15 minutes.
People who request for the board will be extending their VA claim by atleast 6+ months if not a year..
