I've just finished baking it a few minutes ago and it really is delicious. My 4 y/o nephew absolutely loved it so I think we're gonna have this Knækbrød regularly at home.

Great! Yes, I realize that today people often are a mix of different countries. I know that in 1600 my Danish ancestor had a child with a Swedish lady So, I guess I also have some Swedish blood.

Super good with smoked Gouda cheese or cream cheese. I like to mix cream softened cream cheese with dill and chopped cucumber.

Knäckebröd is from Sweden... Baked 1500 years ago. 😀👍🏻

+Infinite loop Yes, I grew up eating Knäckebröd in Denmark, and we often bought Swedish Knäckebröd. It is very popular in the Scandinavian countries! Thanks for commenting.

Wasa knäckebröd is to buy in Netherlands too. I am happy for that. at least something I don't have to miss from Sweden.

Such a great way to get healthy seeds and fatty acids, phosphorus, zinc into our diets and replace more refined grains and carbohydrates. I love to spread avocado and sliced cherry tomatoes with green onion and lemon or balsamic vinegar with this. Very healthy breakfast. It’s also great with sardines and lemon or olives.
