Then an announcement saying they were ahead of schedule. The last I have heard is “the 1st quarter of 2022”. I don’t think I have gotten any direct communication (I don’t check my email as closely as I might) from Sondors, this is just what I’ve heard, google, RUclips, etc. This is the fourth Sondors product I’ve purchased and I’ve been happy with them. @@tedmarakas2626 That's another aspect of the electric vehicle. The extreme cost and the nonuniversal application of the batteries are it's own quagmire. If you can go to walmart and purchase a battery for any fossil fuel vehicle at a fair price, why would you go electric while the prices doesn't fit the societal rate of income. It's either the EV's need to coincide with todays pay grade or society's pay grade needs to match the EV cost. The only EV that doesn't trip over it's own Achilles heel is the electric bicycle. It's the only viable EV application that is practical at the moment.

  • @rustysimonds5011
    @rustysimonds5011 Год назад

    All of those e bikes that look horrendous simply need to add sport like fairings and they would be ok. Obviously that would need to be included in the already inflated pricing. No one looking a e bikes will spend 115k let alone 35k for a e bike that has a 200km range per charge unless they have money to waste, in which case buy yourself a Ferrari, you can get one for the same price, turns heads and gets the girls. Remember, going E is supposed to reduce cost not increase cost of transport. All ebikes should be a range from 2k to 15k maximum.

      I was refwring to bikes like 115k etc or cars priced at 60 to 80k with the normal petrol version being 35 ti 40k.
      The point is, noone has the time nor the money to go green even if they wanted to unless they won lotto, has rich parents or was born with a silver spoon in thier mouths.
      If these manufacturers are serious about going green they need to be cheaper than petrol.cars and bikes because both charging time and range are penalties for going electric

      Well, the industry is evolving fast. It is true that electric motorcycles have higher prices compared to their ICE counterparts but your statement about all ICE scooters and bikes being cheaper than EVs is not entirely true. For example, Niu have recently announced MQi GT EVO, which has the performance comparative to an ICE model, a very competitive price and lower running costs.
