    The Black Tea Bonfire is a moped. Its in the 50cc class and reaches 45 KPH. The Bonfire X is in the 125cc class, and reaches 90 KPH. The small one comes with 1 battery, a second as option. Battery costs 1000 €, and you get double the range. But order a second at start, then you get a different connector. The X always has 2 Batteries, caused by the more power consumption.
    European cities are much smaller than in the US. I guess, driving arround in Manhattan without crossing the river would be perfect with that range. And if you drive in city speed, you get more distance. Distances are in top speed. Slower = more range

    I really like the Honda 1985 V65 Sabre or the Honda 1986 VFR750 F Interceptor.
    That would really be something to get me to seriously consider a purchase. Of course
    it being made from an American company that is real with it's production. Would seriously
    be another reason to buy one. Great Videos thank you for them.

    Your videos are so well-made and you give such great commentary i’ve been looking for an electric bike for awhile now and this is really helped me out as I need a way to get to college and I’m so sick of public transport honestly didn’t realise how much I liked motorcycles until I discovered retro ones i’m definitely gonna subscribe

    • @observingrogue7652
      @observingrogue7652 2 года назад

      My disgust of public transportation, is part of what got me into motorcycles in the first place. I already liked riding bicycles, I just really hated the limits of my body, and wanted to go faster. And I hate how long it takes to get anywhere with buses & trains, I hate the random service rerouting or shutting down lines. And I hate the stupid cultists trying to pressure me into their garbage religion, in stations, stuck with them on trains, and now they're singing & preaching in buses.
      Motorcycles give me the freedom & independence governments & gods don't want me to have, because they want to own me.

    I saw the last bike, the veitius at the bike show a few years ago great looking bike. The company owner was doing some market research at the time and back then he was pitching the price around £20,000 range. The live wire had just come out so I think he was aiming for the same price bracket. That was a few years ago and the price may be lowere, but one thing about the bike it has lots of tech on it , looked great sounded fantastic ( he had it on a static track so you could see the thing running ).

    • @andrewmorgan6775

      Their website has it as £40,000. That, for a 70 mph/100 mile roadster, is outrageous! Especially when you can get the Energica Flagship Experia, which does closer to 200 miles at motorway speeds, for £12,000 less. The nearest Emotorcycle to it, performance wise, is the Horwin and that is £7,000.

    Seems like more than half are concept/ not for sale yet and you are giving a guess as to what you think it should sell for. I think you should stick to models that are 1.Available 2. Have a current Retail Price. And 3. A verified spec sheet. I’ve seen the same thing with E foils and E surfboards. Half are scams or concepts that never go past a drawing. Most are not even close to the spec they print. And 2 or 3 are actually the real thing. But cost double or triple what was estimated in these pre release videos. short video I know but way more useful if you are shopping for something now.

    They should eventually develop some kind of battery fairing, which fakes the looks of a cumbustion engine. The Veitis makes a first small step in this direction.
    This in conjunction with faked combustion engine and exhaust sound is a must to get the attention of current combustion engine motorcycle riders. I can't understand, why the developers of E-motorcycles do not take account for this. It just seems like they are living in their own bubble.
    Uh, and vibrations! I completely gorgot about vibrations. They have to develop something to create artificial vibrations.

    Would love to be riding an electric motorcycle, but will definitely wait till makers are ready to stop imitating the look of gasoline motorcycles; if I want to ride something that looks like a gasoline bike, I’ll ride one of my gasoline bikes, don’t need or want a fake…
    Come on guys, nothing to be embarrassed about, an electric bike can stand on its own two wheels!
