- This is an older Guild Wars 2 gold-making resource video that I decided to make public. GW2BLTC is an excellent tool to use for a variety of methods. It helps with just about everything except for gold farming: Trading, flipping, investing, crafting, and even fashion wars.

This is like real life trading, now I just need to learn to make the spreadsheet to keep it all organized
Unfortunately, real world trading is quite a bit different. If it were the same then I'd be pretty much set. The presentation of information is similar though and there are a lot of concepts common between them.
Excel skills are very useful for this sort of thing. Sam has some good videos on making spreadsheets for Guild Wars 2. I'm sure I'll make my own video about it eventually, but it's not as in-demand as other topics so it will probably be a while.

Excellent vid! Is there a calculator? For eg, if I want to plan a sale, I want it to calculate if I bought it at a certain amount and sold it off at a certain amount, how much I would make.
It'd just be 85% of sell price - 100% of buy price. People usually make excel sheets for that. Sam has a great video that I put in my gold making essentials playlist for how to setup a spreadsheet. Overflow Trading Company Discord also has a free sheet that's already hooked up to the API.
Not being able to change the time period for the "bought" and "sold" numbers is the biggest missing feature on gw2bltc imo! Especially for legendaries, it would be much better to adjust this to a week or month than having to look at the graph and estimating the number in my head...
I’d love to learn to make gw2 spreadsheets on google but I don’t have any experience. How would one start learning to create working efficient spreadsheet on Guild Wars 2 TP (flipping or other gold making strats)? I hear that it is commonly used but never seen any examples how one sets it up or how it should look like.
Got any vid, guides or planning to make a video covering it?

Sorry, I didn't get a notification for this comment for some reason. Hopefully Sam's videos were able to help? Unfortunately, I've only ever used Excel for my GW2 spreadsheets and am not as knowledgeable about the whole "connecting to a data source part" as I am the generalities of making spreadsheets on Excel and Google Sheets, so I won't be much help if you need to set up an API-connected Google Sheet. There are definitely others who can though. If you haven't figured it out, you can always join the Overflow Trading Company Discord and there will be several people who can help you through it.

As for spreadsheets, I still need to start on Sam’s videos but will do when I have more spare time off work.
Right now I use Gw2bltc and browse through 1-50-100 pages to see if anything is worth flipping. Doesn’t take as much time when looking for profits.
@@Sn1PeRZzBLOOD Makes sense. Just remember that if you're looking at the "Items to Flip" section, you'll have a lot of competition because everyone else can see those items too.
@@abree107 Yeah figured that, that's why I look for less profits not frontpage. but yes, I notice competition even if it's a little (20-50silver profit). Other items I go for just sells much faster for 20-40c each. I don't need 1000 gold, just enough to not run out when updating gear to catch up after 6 year break. Also it's good to learn how to trade efficiently for gw2 and future games with in-game economy.
Could I search for items that i don’t have unlocked on my account and filter on that?
Gw2efficiency.com would be the resource you'd want to use for stuff like that. You can search achievement progression, dye/skin/mount etc. unlocks, and even search your account for items if you misplaced something you need for an achievement.
@@abree107 yes, I was hoping for an option to search for certain skins i don’t have jet, and then sort them on price. Make it a little more cost efficient, and whats the word, less chaotic with searches from skinsites.
I'm not 100% sure that you can sort them by price, maybe you can. You can definitely see the prices of individual skins at a glance.

It is a waste of time to play with this table a better option to go to work to buy gems for 100 euros and buy what you want from TP.
Using these tools you may find you are looking at numbers more than you play in the game itself

Any gains or losses sustained are yours to keep. I provide the information. It's up to you to apply it. That said, if you want methods that will absolutely never lose you money, you'll pretty much be relegated to just farming. Everything else has its risks.
figure i ask. i once bought a stack of iron ore and then tried selling it. then i accidently bought my own stack that i listed ;) ty@@abree107

Imagine how much money you can get instead of sitting at these tables, play Forex or just go to normal work
We all have fun different ways. You can also quit the game altogether and work 90 hour weeks if you're going that route.
