Intro music & Video Music : GW2 LS3 OST
Guess what? GW2BLTC has inverted slots for sold and bought, so just invert that part when analyzing.
Silver's API is perfect though, and if you ain't using it yet, you should be (still not sponsored btw).
Also here's the crafting video link : ruclips.net/video/zkbPF7H3qUg/видео.html

@@Silver_Golden shht we're supposed to hide this :p
@@Samajestay Do you have a link for Silver's API? It's not in the video and not in the description
@@anewbeginningquinn There you go :) gw2.silveress.ie/
Didn't find the sheet in patreon
Please explain what is the difference between sold and bought?
Bought = When a sale is made at the Buyer's price?
Sold = When a sale is made at the seller's price?
Do I have it right?
Welcome back!
Glad to know that you're going to start making videos again :D
Welcome back, Sam! :) Glad you've enjoed some time off with your friends!
Thanks for sharing these tips for flipping. I was considering for quite a while to start doing this, but I didn't have the idea how to start (to be precise how to look for items for flipping). Thanks to you I have a starting point now! :)
Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad I could help you out :)
Don't hesitate if you got questions!
I didn't understand what is sold and what is bought. Sold is when a seller click on the buyers offers and bought is when a buyer click on a seller offer ?
For real since 1 year i see your video and is always a good moment for learn something , or a tips or a other thing on gw2 :) Continue tes videos sont vraiment bien :)
Thank you for the very kind words :3 Je vais m'accrocher, mais j'ai plein de taf xD
I was wondering for longer if such sites exist. I'm so glad I found this video! Makes everything easier
Welcome back Sam! Discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. Do you plan on doing any more podcasts?
That will depend on the other lads but it should be quite feasible :) Enko even has a stup to host himself now!
is subbing on twitch for the spreadsheet still a thing? :3 i finally want to make some money because i got burnt of out raidselling >.>
Works the same, you just miss out on patreon posts which aren't stellar
Hi,
i have one question. I tried your tips and made some gold. But i have huge amounts of materials which i didn't sell because no one was buying them. Now there at the trading post..
Shall i leave them there as long as someone buys them?
Thank you for your help
as long as their price remains within the weekly average i'd say to leave them there. If the price goes down for a long time, relist :)
For those of us who are ignorant about excel, is there anywhere I can find a way to make the spreadsheet? As always, thank you for your videos (although I am most of the time a lurker)!
Mmh it would require a fair bit of knowledge, but at the end of the day you can make it happen if you know which formulas you want to have and write them down.
You didn't link your crafting video in description..
It is in the comment section. Pinned comment probably.
Am I misunderstanding or did you mistakenly switch around the sold and bought values?
Sold: Sell offers were filled or cancelled in the last 24h.
Bought: Buy orders were filled or cancelled in the last 24h.
Also, the bought/sold slit is very important and they aren't quite the same as you say. It's a 60/40 split which means if it continues that way the sell orders are going to continue dropping as there are more people buying and reselling than people actually selling. Basically, anything where bought numbers are higher than sold numbers is going to be more risky.
With that said, part of those sales are to people who are consuming (in this case, the history does show its sitting in equilibrium) but would it not be more sound advice to stick to less risky splits? When the buyers who consume dry up it's going to start killing the sell price.
Otherwise thanks for the video!
After your spreadsheet video, it got me to do my own investments sheet using silver's API. (although in google sheets as I don't have excel available all the time)
I said that GW2BLTC inverts it in the pinned post :)
Also your thinking is correct : it evens out between flippers and the organic demand. To prevent any risks, we use that small % of the actual volume, and thus flip efficiently!
@@Samajestay Ah ok, that makes sense. Unfortunately, I cannot see pinned post but it looks like I have been flipping the wrong things all this time.
Doesn't the Silver's API pull the item information from the same place as BLTC does?
If that is the case, why is your list considered less public?
Because I have different filters and remove some items that I know won't move
Ur guides meant more when I didn’t know u make over 1500 gold a month from over 20 accounts login rewards.
Don't look for excuses, gold making isn't just a sit back and relax hobby.
I make more than 1500g a month and most of it isn't the login rewards. The guides and tools are top notch and constantly improving.
@@Samajestay enjoying new world atm so not concerned about gw2 currency.
@@monalisa-bs4zsthen why come and comment negatively on a video? Your actions and words don't match.
@@Samajestay helps u out via RUclips algorithms and I get to share my perspective. The comment can also be considered positive but it’s fairly neutral tbh.
@@monalisa-bs4zs I took it as a jab at my brand which is a fair way to take it.
I have a kind and helpful approach and being told what I create means less is never neutral.
Where is the Link to your crafting video? I cant seem to find it and that would spark my interest way more than flipping :-D
Hey there! It is on the pinned comment :)
do you have discord & Kofi? ... for people who just passionately hate patreon but would be glad to support and want that magic excel sheet you've been talking about 😜
I have a discord, twitch and could make a Kofi if need be ^^ links in description!
Hello, does this guide still apply and is the sold and bought slots still inverted? Thanks for the info!
Guide remains relevant of course :)
Sooooo... where do we get the spreadsheet?
Discord server or on the patreon page :)
@@Samajestay Thanks for the reply! Where can I find the discord info?
@@iOakie should be in video description ;)
Umm sam. I think you are reading it wrongly.
Bought is how many buyers got their item
Sold is how many sellers sold their item.
The pinned comment smiles at you ;)
So, is Dragonite any good in pokemon?
Can be, but it gets clapped by faster mons and by fairy type :x
@@Samajestay what about gengar ^^ my fav
@@TheCikaBane Great for speed control and as a suicide attacker. Can't last long due to no bulk.
I really don't think this works at all, the amount of time it takes and the chances that the thing you listed just won't sell or will get undercut to shit, you'd get better gold per hour by walking out into the wild and killing random mobs for vendor trash and the occasional blood/fang
Don't think then, go and test it :)
I tried flipping today ever since I got my first thousand gold. Playing the economy is very enjoyable for me.
That said, how do you deal with people undercutting your sales? The orders are quite easy as you can just reorder without losing the tax money. However im having problems with my sales. Is it because I'm choosing the obvious items to sell, or do I just need to be patient?
Cheers!
I am glad you are having a good time! And yes it boils down to patience :)
@@Samajestay awesome thanks for replying. So what you're saying is even if I get undercut, I should just wait for the item to get sold? How long should I wait before reposting the item?
I hope you don't mind my additional questions.
@@AntondepaduaNo worries about your questions. I would leave it there for the time it takes for the usual volume to sell then move it out if need be. So if 100 sells a week and the market slowed to 50, I would wait 2 weeks. Is that understandable?
@@Samajestay yes I understand! But is there a particular reason why you are adjusting for the velocity like that? Must be some economic rule or something 😄
@@Samajestay I would imagine that it has something to do with temporary inflation or something like that, where in the price of something re-normalizes after bumping up cause of some hype.
waiting for a week isn't flipping, it becomes short term investing, lol.
Nah, it's still a flip, you aren't waiting for a faucet to phase out
I know you just like the technical aspect of flipping. But honestly for most other people it’s probably the most unfun way of playing this game.
It definitely can be, but i believe everybody has their fun and can go for it :)
Hey, so how to access this spreadsheet? Thnx
Once you've subbed to either patreon or twitch, it's available in the patreon channel of Discord :)
Great vid
