    The Fusion is Ford's answer to the midsize family sedan stalwarts like the Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, and the current segment leader known as the Toyota Camry.
    But Ford says the Fusion isn't worth another model year. Are they true? Or are they making a huge mistake axing the Fusion from their lineup? Find out in this review.

    I just happened to get a rental of one of these and it's a fantastic car. The version I had had everything. Too bad I can't afford one.

      They are actually pretty good cars, personally my favorite car in Ford's lineup (with the Mustang being the exception). Just wish Ford would bring another generation along. I'd like to see what they would do!

    The rear end looks much better with the bottom all blacked out. They finally figured out how to make the rear end look decent and wide.

    • @A8Reviews
      @A8Reviews  4 года назад

      I agree. I still think that personally the "angel wings" really just overdo the rear end. I prefer the much simpler strip across the rear like the 2017-18 Fusions had.

    You forgot to mention it doesn’t come with a spare tire. You get a can of fix a flat,and an air machine.(really nice air machine). Ford says it’s so you get better gas mileage (less weight). I would prefer a tire and a jack. I do have the 2020 titanium,Great car,I love it.

      They are. Really wish Ford kept the Fusion around, although I've been hearing a lot that it may become a wagon-like SUV like the Subaru Outback. Kinda neutral on that rumor. Congrats on your Fusion!!!

    I already purchased a Fushion before I saw this video. Why did I buy it? Our outfit bought the Fushion Hybrid Pursuit model, and it has been very dependable and trouble free. After I retired, I traded my Nissan Leaf in on one. The economy is excellent. Luggage capacity, not so much. As a hybrid, it beat the Prius on a mileage run out of Reno. Prius 74.6 mpg, Fushion 92.8 mpg.

    I traded a 2018 Accord for a 2019 Titanium because of how much better and cheaper the Titanium rental my wife had was. You also failed to mention why the Accord rear has more room is because your sitting on the floor. The Titanium is quieter and smoother riding than the Accord. The acceleration seems quicker in the Titanium, maybe because I'm not embarrassed to step down on it because it's not so loud. The Fusion also doesn't have any law suit pending over its driver Collison avoidance systems unlike the Hondas which is always slamming on brakes for no reason which was the main reason I got rid of the car. These are key factors to mention when comparing vehicles. The Fusion front seats sit higher than the Accords so I'm not sure why you said they sit low. My 86 year old mother had to be pulled out of the Accord but jumps right out of my Titanium with no help at all. Though she is elderly and doesn't drive she can also feel the difference in ride quality. I personally hate reviews that concentrate on the small things like tech when they fail to mention drivability. My Accord made me upset everytime I drove it and if you search online for complaints instead of reviews you will see that owners of the Accord are unhappy while there are no Fusion complaints only happy customers who are so glad they finally have a drivable car with so many brands making glitchy, hard riding, noisy, uncomfortable cars. What good is a lot of malfunctioning tech that most real drivers don't even want.

      Interesting point. I reviewed a Honda Accord (new) and I never experienced these issues. But good customer testimony! I wish you safe travels in your Fusion!

      @@A8Reviews I have a 2019 Titanium and I rented a Toyota Camry for a few weeks before getting it. I wish the Fusion seats were lower but they are pretty high. The Camry was really low to the ground.

    • @A8Reviews
      @A8Reviews  4 года назад +1

      @@kalel33 I much prefer the seats in the Fusion compared to the Camry. I don't like low-sitting seats, as they can make my legs feel uncomfortable, as most of my six-foot-two length comes from that area.

    • @jasperdilincoln2341
      @jasperdilincoln2341 4 года назад

      @@kalel33 I really think that's just the way the fusion is designed as well. I have a 2018 Camry that was in a accident. I am currently renting a 2019 Fusion titanium. I like it but I noticed like you I couldn't get the seat all the way down. I also think its just a Ford thing. My mother back in the day had bought a brand new 2000 Taurus when she let me drive it, I could never get the seat to sit low. I think the only Ford I rented where I could put the seat really low was when I rented a 2014 Mustang a few years ago. My 2010 Impala, 2014 Camry and 2018 Camry all in the past you could put your seats low. My mother's 2000 Taurus and even, my 2005 Taurus as well always sat higher than other cars I owned

    Just got a 2020 Titanium Fusion. Very, very disapointed, this thing is expensive but cheaply made, Ford cut a lot of corners making this car. Electronics work on and off (more off than on). You have to be extremely carefull with the adaptive cruise control (It is dangerous) It is a serious accident waiting to happen. The auto high beam controls have never worked and disapeared from the setup menu. I regret buying this piece of JUNK! No wonder Ford decided to quit making it.

      I have a 2019 Titanium and the adaptive cruise control works well. Maybe I have lesser expectations of it as I know it's not an alternative for full autonomous driving 🤷🏿‍♂️. I agree that Ford did cut some corners though. I feel like the hood is kinda flimsy. I also hate the placement of the paddle shifters. They are too close to the turn signal stalk IMO. If you don't mind me asking, what specific issues are you having with electronics?

      I have a 2020 Titanium AWD and have had zero issues with the adaptive cruise control or auto high beams. If anything, the auto high beams are *too* courteous. They shut off if they even think that they are picking up light from an oncoming vehicle, even if there isn't one. I have heard of electrical complaints on Fusions before, but have yet to experience any. I would even say it's the best sedan I've ever owned.
