I have owned my 2017 Ford Fusion for 5 years and I had no idea that I could remote-start the car. I don't even know how I got to this channel. Lol thanks alot
I’m a Ford Sales Consultant. Im not too sure how any of these features could be missed in a walk around, let alone a delivery.

@Mike Quick as a Ford salesman myself, we do walk around and explain the features on used and new. Even off brand vehicles.

I have a 2013 Fusion that I bought new and I love it. Sure, it's had some issues with the transmission and gas purge valve, but when I look at it, I can't help but smile. Beautiful design. Still looks classy after 9+ years.
Is the gas purge valve the thing that makes them hate new gas for a couple minutes? Lol. Only issue with mine (2014 2.0 Ecoboost) is 100% guaranteed at every fill up, it’ll kind of sputter about at low RPMs
And I heavily agree, it’s easily one of the best looking sedans to have ever been made. If I came into a ton of money, I’d happily pay to have it 5.0 swapped with the 10-speed transmission 🤤
@@ZephyrusBlue yeah, that's the issue my car had. You may be able to avoid the rough idle by not filling the tank all the way.

I'm on my second Ford Fusion, I had a Titanium in Brazil and now here in America I have a 2018 Energi Luxury Plug In and I always get compliments, looks like a 2022 car, amazing technology, super comfortable, unique design

I have a 2013 Fusion SE. The window trick didn't work until I went into the settings menu and had to check the Windows remote open and close boxes. Now it works perfectly.Thsnk You Miles for sharing.

When you are Rolling the windows up or down remotely if you press the button a third time you can stop the windows from rolling all the way up or down this is a good feature if you want to leave them cracked a little on a hot day. Also if you go into your settings menu you can set how long you want the remote start to run 5, 10, or 15 minutes. I'm not sure if these are available on your model I just have the SE, you should have these considering your model is a higher tier model 👍🏿
I've has my Fusion for over 4 years still rides like a new car ! I can't justify buying a new car yet this thing ticks all the boxes :)
My 2011 Ford fusion hybrid still runs like new, but I might need to see if I can add a tow hitch to pull a very small trailer.

Great video! I have a 2017 Ford Fusion Energi hybrid and I love all these things about my car. I love the window trick! I try it on all of my friends key fobs but a lot of other cars lack this neat feature.

I own a 2014 w ecoboost + 6 spd MANUAL, and LOVE this car from day one.......fun, great 38 MPG Hwy, smoothest + solid ride in any late model car driven, brakes are smoothly linear.........the best choice of a new car in now is my 16th car! Sorry to see it killed by FMC. Was designed in Europe to compete w Passats, Audi A4 so a true smooth, road handling vehicle w sharp looks with the optional black 18" on white platinum paint.
I have the 2013 Titanium and when I got it I thought it was at least 2018 omg the styling has aged gracefully especially with mine being Ruby Red 😍

Working in home health in Southern CA I use the windows up and down feature from the fob numerous times every day. So nice to flush the hot air before you even get to the car, and convenient to be able to not have to roll up windows before turning the car off. Love this car.

I have a ‘13 energi se, harmonic pulley tore the timing chain, fixed it, blew the engine months ago. Bought a ‘15 hybrid se, totaled it days ago. Now I’m looking for a titanium energi 😭

Go in the Settings and make sure the Auto Lock is enabled. Just get out and walk away. My 2020 Fusion Platinum has it. You explained the auto windows and remote start much better than my salesman. 🤘🏻

PS...tons of special/unique/upscale features on my SE model...a few - windshield wiper swipes one extra time after delay to clear fluid off -4 doors fully finished in wood grain accents + leather/not just fronts - best in class and above safety features in 2014 w same package - many more, just a terrific trouble free car with the unique 6 spd Manual! PS drove a Acura Integra, 2023, 6MT,and the ONLY feature I liked about it over my Fusion was it's awesome radio...hardly an upgrade/keeping my car for many more trouble free years!

It appears that Ford kept making improvements right up to model year 2020...depending on the specifications/model/trim level.
BTW, Ford has continued the Fusion/Mondeo in other markets with a new 2023 model with somewhat radical styling.

I've had my Ford Fusion for five years now ! It will be paid off in 2 months! It still rides good and starts up like new! I have 122,000 miles on it now.
The window trick also works on my 2016😁
You can open the door as well and the car will go into park as well
Had a fully loadef 2016 fusion with ecoboost awd for 6 yrs. Didnt like all the unecessary luxurious stuff because it was all slow or just didnt work right. The tires were absolute trash. Would explode on pebbles. But, the car was fast as hell and fun to drive when there were no issues. I miss it sometimes. Especially in the summer. Loved the sunroof. Now i have a 2018 f150xlt with the 3.5l ecoboost. Love everything about that pickup. Not one problem so far a year and a half in. Hitting 100k probably in 2 weeks. I miss the speediness and sharp turns of the fusion, but i wouldnt trade my truck for it. Fusions are great as long as you dont get the factory slims!

I have the 2018 Ford Fusion Platinum Hybrid. Black Exterior and White Interior. I absolutely love it! Did you get the Ford Sync app to remote start your car? It will start the car and depending on the weather will turn on the AC and Seat Coolers or Heat and Turn on the Heated seats.
Tks for sharing. I would like to add up, that just to make sure the remote start went through it will blink a GREEN light confirming that the car started. If blinks RED then it means the car didn't receive the command. I hope it helps.

When rolling the windows up/down with the key fob, hit the opposite button and the widows will stop. Works great when you forget to Crack them on hot days.

Also while remote starting if it actually starts, the light on the fob lights up green, if it’s out of range it lights up red!
Audio is great. I have 2016 with built in auto start with separate fob. How do i use that.
It will also put the transmission in park with the car on if you open your driver's door. I have a 2017 platinum i would think you should have that feature too.

I have a 2013 with a sunroof and when the windows go down the sunroof will crack. If you have the sunroof completly open and go to roll the windows up it will also close the sunroof
Mine now has a feature where I get the message “system off to save battery” which is really cool lemme tell ya. I replaced the battery and it worked good for awhile… got the same message again and now my car won’t start. Such a cool feature!

I hit an ice bank early morning going to work at 120 kmh roughly
Got some serious air and fractured my L1 disc (20% compression)
Car called 911 and reported my location
I’m doing well and making a fine recovery! Didn’t know there’s literally airbags everyyywhere lol
By your knees, windows, doors and I believe the seat buttons pack an airbag as well to protect your hip area.. an airbag deployed somewhere down there anyway!
So I just went and bought the exact same fusion again only white!! 😅 LOVE LOVE LOVE this car and I’ll never take it for granted again!!
OH I should mention both my fusions were 2019 titanium’s but I do believe they pack the same safety features

Hi,I loved the video,I have a couple of questions I have a Ford Fusion and I got it for a cheap because it’s been thru a lot,I was gonna ask if the window lock sensors came with the car when u received it and I’m interested in installing a V8 engine,if u have any tips for that I would appreciate it a lot!
Yea the window lock feature was something that came on the car as an option
I figured out lowering the windows with the key fob about two years into owning the car.

Another "secret": if you have a USB port in the front (in the hole below the infotainment screen) you can conect your phone and use some apps on that infotainment screen. I don't have Navigation but by connecting my phone that way I use Waze and Spotify on my car screen. Very cool feature

I have a 2018 Ford fusion hybrid SE. Does not have the thing where you can stick your hand on the door handle to unlock it nor does it have a remote start but it has all the other features and they are pretty cool.
if you have the ford app you can remote start from your phone without the key fob
@@areid3680 I have the Ford app there is simply no option on mine for remote start. Trust me, I have looked for it.

I knew the remote rolled it down but I didn't know it rolled it up. I have the 2019.
You Should do the my key feature to limit the speed for parental controls or just so you dont get a ticket lol

I just found out today I just got mine I left the gym an was like let me try it , I hit the lock button twice then the other one it didn’t do nothing but lock me outside lol then I tried hitting the lock 1 then the other twice an it started yaaaaaaaaa hell yeah that’s clean
The cool thing about the remote window open is that you can press the button once while they are rolling down to stop them where you want to. It’s nice when you just want to crack them

This is not true: Turning the 17 ford fusion off in drive sets a transmission code. I believe that means it's not great for the transmission motor circuit A. (I appologize for my error. This is a feature as well as a diagnostic test, and only sets a code if there is a problem with the GSM)
My 2020 fusion titanium only has the handle lock on the front doors. I just found out some have it on the back doors. That’s a bummer I don’t have that 😔
I have the British version, the Mondeo. 2016 2.0 auto. Mine has the traditional gear lever. Beautiful car. That remote window opening was great in last years heatwave!

My 2004 audi a4 rolled up the windows for me on the fob fords finally catching up
It won't go into gear either when the key fob is out

I miss my fusion. I had a 2019 titanium, but I wanted a bigger vehicle, so I moved to an suv.
I abandoned my 2017 titanium for an SUV as well after a 3 year lease and went back to an SUV. Sometimes I wonder if I should have bought my Fusion after the lease was up. It was a fantastic sedan.

My uncles Kia seltos shuts off after an hour with the remote start. My old 2012 Chrysler 200 shut off if it's been on for too long... never got the chance to measure it.
I have a 2013 Fusion, if I shut the ignition off with the gearbox in " D " there's a warning...beep(?) that sounds. Nowadays I would think it would be difficult to find a car with an automatic transmission that will roll away with the ignition off and the transmission in gear. Oddly, put it in NEUTRAL with the ignition off and it will probably roll away.
Knew about the windows down, remotely, didn't know/don't really care about the up feature, but now I know.
I could see the windows up feature coming in handy like if you have the windows down and it starts to downpour all of a sudden you could easily roll your windows up from inside the house
Fusions before the 17 refresh have a normal PRNDL shifter with cables going to the trans. They have nothing to allow it to put itself in park without human interaction. After 17 they incorporated a electric shift selector allowing this. Most cars work an electric shift selector will put itself in park upon turning the car off. My 08 Prius did it too.
Did you try your keypad?
The windows opening works on my 2011 Ford fusion hybrid as well and it lifts the moon roof glass in the back. It has a different remote than yours.
I have a 2013 Ford Fusion titanium and I can’t get it to crank sometimes it’s saying power active mode

My 2014 Fusion SE ecoboost with AWD is by far the best car I've owned.
