    I don't understand all the disdain for certain Nissan products. This particular Pro-4X trim seems to fill most pickup owners needs.

    • @2BrokeJokes

      I own a 2020 Pro 4X, great truck. I came from a 2019 RST Silverado. The chevy had a number of issues for a new truck. Ive own Toyota, fords, chevy and GMC. I've also had a Nissan Xterra. The titan is a great truck!

      It’s actually more loaded than the top trim. It is also not ridiculously covered on chrome.

      I owned a Sentra before, a 370Z and 2 Titans and I’m telling you I’m done with Nissan. Their quality has decreased so bad is not even funny.

      That’s why I bought a 21 pro 4x

    • @willhutton1516

      @@TacoMonster4eva I’m guessing you’ve only bought the old ones. Mid-2000’s cars and trucks all had issues due to them still ironing kinks out of their first full-size truck ever. Toyota still has issues with their tundra and I don’t need to tell you about ford’s 5.4 3 valve. Nissans get a bad wrap cause if you’ve owned a jatco (Nissan brand) tranny, then you know they are utter crap. This Titan has a Toyota transmission (aisin). Know what goes wrong with a vehicle before you buy it. Old titans had tranny problems and VQ motors had a strawberry milkshake of death (tranny and coolant mixing) issue.

    The headlights on this truck outshine every competitor. They are so damn bright, the cut off is so crisp, and the high beams are like the sun ignites.

    We drove the 2020 Titan at a Nissan dealer two weeks ago. Kudos to Nissan for spending the engineering money to refine & fine-tune this underdog. The 400-hp V8 from the Armada/Patrol is ABSOLUTELY INTOXICATING!!! And the 9-speed pairs with it perfectly. The Titan feels light years better than the old dinosaur Tundra. Now that it beats the Tundra in the IIHS crash safety tests, the Titan is now a legitimate alternative for those looking beyond the top sellers in the full-size pick-up segment!!! The other underdog, the Dodge Ram, also impresses. Great job to both Nissan & Dodge for making formidable and well-thought-out non-mainstream full-sizers.

      @@jacobpoullath3478 I totally get that. Perhaps under Fiat/FCA's leadership/ownership, they can weed out the gremlins that plagued them under Daimler/Mercedes. Fiat/FCA seems to be doing a fantastic job with the rest of the Dodge/Jeep line-up.

    As a 2nd Gen Titan owner. The only thing inaccurate is the fuel economy. Mine is lifted 3" and on 35's and I average 15mpg. They didn't reset the trip after sticking there foot in it. Factory under normal driving on hwy I was seeing 21-22mpg. Note the 400+ hp is achievable only on 93 Octane. Highly recommend mod is a oil catch can to do away with intake valve deposit build up.

    The exterior, imo, looks better than its competitors particularly the Baja Storm color. But the interior is not bad at its price point. And vented seats should be standard, and reclining second row seats would be an awesome additional feature here as what RAM has for comfort to passengers during long drives.

    nice review. you guys are driving it like you stole it. takes a lot of gas to hear that grow. i have 2018 and get 13mpg in city. long trips at 75mph is around 17mpg. i have seen it do 20mpg in nice country roads, at 55mph limit without stop and go. it hates to be idle. like when warming up or you just sitting inside with the ac on. that kills the mpg. i love the 4proX. it is modern with a real do anything truck capability. mine has 30k, i use it everyday for work, and it looks and feel like the day i got it. had an issue with the back gate lock and a interior light. but nissan fix it, at one of my 10k service.

    • @averageeverydayfishermansh4501
      @averageeverydayfishermansh4501 4 года назад

      I have a 2019 F150 XLT Sport 4X4. It's going back in the shop at 14,000 miles because the cam phasers (which have been a problem for Ford since the early 2000's) were replaced at about 7,000 miles and now I have an oil leak (looks like the rear seal), a power steering fluid leak, and the transmission makes a horrible clunking noise in and out of fourth gear. I had an 06 F150 that almost made it to 200,000 miles so in 2019, when I was looking at trucks, I decided to stick with Ford (I also found a great deal on the truck). Unfortunately, here it goes back to the dealership. And why I am on line looking at reviews of other trucks. I see a Titan in my future because when I bought my truck I drove the Ram, the Tundra, the Chevy, and the GMC. None felt as good as the F150. I just wish I had considered a Titan at the time but it didn't cross my mind. Watch enough of these videos and go on the forums and you will see the MPG's are way better than this review and a couple of others. And you are not getting any of the tech that you get with the Titan from the others unless you get the top of the line or fully load it and then you are paying for it. Titan has such a small share that they discount everything extensively so you get a great deal. When I drop my truck off at the dealership, I am taking their loaner vehicle and stopping at the Nissan dealership on my way home. If you want a great deal on an F150 with less than 15,000 miles on it, let me know. :-)
