It comes with instructions but it’s essentially like you program the one that came with it the best I remember. It is way better than the one that came with it as far as range goes.

They're not bad but I prefer my ghost controls. I've installed both ad Ghost edges out the mule
They make a gate lock that’ll solve your problem and also lock your gate
I actually readjusted the limits and had it forced close and haven’t really had a problem since.
Maybe a small magnet on the gate stop could help as a latch.
I actually reset the limits and had it force itself into the stop more and that seems to have mostly remedied the issue.

Replace that battery with a car battery if you have cloudy weather for a few days it will die
So far it’s been ok but I’ll keep that in mind.
