All of my hard work is in vain, I have tried everything under the sun to program my new 371 remote and NOTHING!! Tried second new remote, again , WONT PROGRAM. Hold second button down, beeps let go, press remote down. Doesn’t work. Iam FURIOUS!! Glad yours is working.
@@REDNECKCHANNEL thanks for your response sir, the gate opens and closes to set limits with buttons, but I rewired everything, gate opens and closes perfectly, but I have tried all day , trying to program remotes, the simplest procedure of all. Trying for another hour or two, then tomorrow returning it to Tractor Supply for a refund. Opener two remotes and extended warranty cost me $500.00. Too expensive not to work. Thanks again Sir for your response. Happy for you that you are having good luck with your opener.
I did a complete reset, then programed the remote, then programe the gate limits for both open and close. After that my remote worked perfectly. I had this issue for two weeks and finally figured out why my remote didn't work. I had to program my gate limits and complete the programming for it to work.
IF YOU HAD ISSUES WITH YOUR REMOTE, I FIGURED IT OUT! I did a complete reset, then programed the remote, then programe the gate limits for both open and close. After that my remote worked perfectly. I had this issue for two weeks and finally figured out why my remote didn't work. I had to program my gate limits and complete the programming for it to work.
ok, so what you do is, hold the learn button down until the light comes on, (which is about 2 sec) then push the button on the remote, and the light on the remote will come on. The instructions say hold the learn button down for 6 sec. After a while do we need to cancel everything and start over?
I AM USING STALL FORCE SET AT MEDIUM. Dual Sense Stall Force Setting Do not use the Dual Sense Stall Force adjustment to compensate for a gate that is sticking or binding. Excessive Stall force may cause damage to the gate operator or gate system. The Stall Force adjustment controls the amount of force the opener will apply against an obstruction before it stops and reverses direction. The controller includes three Stall Force settings, and is preset from the factory to Low. If your operator stops and reverses during a normal cycle, follow the instructions below to change the Stall Force setting. Adjusting the Stall Force: 1. Press and hold the (UP Arrow) and (DOWN arrow) buttons until the buzzer sounds (approximately 2 seconds). Release. 2. Use the (UP arrow) or (DOWN arrow) to adjust the Stall Force setting. LED1, 2, & 3 are used to indicate the setting. LED3 ON indicates LOW, LED3 & 2 ON indicates MEDIUM, and LED1, 2 & 3 ON indicates HIGH. 3. Press and release the ( ) button to set the Stall Force setting.
ALSO consider this adjustment. it's next to the dip switches.. ● The auto close timer is set to OFF from the factory. ● To set an auto close timer, use a small flat head screw driver to turn the auto close potentiometer clockwise. ● The timer can be set from approximately 3 seconds to a maximum of 120 seconds.
I went on web site and ordered. Ticks me off. Should have came with unit. PULL TO OPEN ?? I've never seen one at anyone place that's installed with gate swinging towards me upon entry

Dang...I had to repeat the programming sequence several times to ge the remotes programmed...

I FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS. REPEAT PROGRAMMING IF NECESSARY..

I am having trouble with the open and close limits. I go through the directions, and when I test it out, it tries to open too far.
Try to repeat learning procedure until limit is correct. May have to do a few times..

Try a different button on the remote. I used 3rd button
Is the black plugin that comes with the 371 a trickle charger like what I use on my old 350, or do I need a new trickle charger??
I recommend using what came with the 371.

No. it's sold separately.
Do you have to add a battery or can i just plug in the wall?
You can just plug in, but if you have a power failure, you must physically disconnect opener to use gate.
