    It works :) Just reminded me of something from years ago Blake. A farm had a track with 6 gates, that all had to be opened and closed manually. By the time they got out of the drive the pub was shut lol.

    My dad has a few of those out at his place. Feels like I'm replacing those damn receiver jobs at least once a year.

    Blake I'm thinkin Winter time snow blowing a drift into that gate and ya gotta get out and open gate anyway. Winter time tractor & lift a cattle guard into that area. Summer time set a rain guage on the post so you validate getting out of truck to check the rain guage and by the way open the gate while your there.

      The gate stays open mostly in the winter when storms are coming.

    Is that your gate opener Blake? Reminds me about your joke about the three cowboys in the truck, 🙂

    Looks like just opening the gate manually would be less work than fixing the gate opener.

      hehe, at work we had a supply room with oils and stuff like that, trucking company. something went missing and suddenly only the office staff had the keys to the room. but there was a garage door in the back where the keys to the building everybody has worked. so after office hours a i used that way in and wrote up the stuff i got like normal. worked like a charm for years until we got a new manager that used to drive the little company van inside to park in the warm. and the first thing that fat bastard did was getting a door opener installed se he would not need to get his fat arse out of the car and open it himself.

    Blake, did you add the auto opener for vehicles exiting? Curious how well that sensor works.

    • @GuyinWY
      @GuyinWY  6 лет назад +2

      No. You must use the push button to open it from either side, but it automatically closes after 30 seconds.

      I have the auto opener buried in the ground and it works great for cars exiting.

    Gates don't work great in drifted snow however.

    Is there any type of adjustment to speed up the actuator? That does look awfully slow

    • @GuyinWY
      @GuyinWY  6 лет назад

      I don’t think it can be adjusted to move much faster, might draw the batteries down too hard

    I purchased the estate deluxe version with two arms. Both of them were repaired twice (each) prior to the expiration of the warranty. The master arm has now stopped working. I paid over $1000 for the unit, have had it less than two years and now it does not function. I refuse to pay to have it fixed and Might Mule will not repair it because it is no longer under warranty. I wish I had never purchased this and cannot recommend this company to anyone. Hope your luck is better than mine.

    I need one to let the dog out many many times a day. Is that kind of a commercial grade unit? How long should it last? How expensive are they?

      This one was here before I was, but I think they’re a few hundred bucks.

    Can you push the gate open if you lose the remote?

    • @GuyinWY
      @GuyinWY  6 лет назад +1

      You can, but you have to unpin the opener from it.

  • @donald1056
    @donald1056 6 лет назад +2

    How much money was that though ?? $200.00??

    • @GuyinWY
      @GuyinWY  6 лет назад +1

      I’m not sure what the opener cost originally, but the repair parts were right around $100 all together. Shouldn’t be hard to beat that on Amazon.
