Hey Carlos, I believe you need the new focus motor to be able to use the range finder rs. I tried the old motor that came with the rs2 and it won’t talk with the range finder rs. The old motor connects the rs3pro and works manually using the focus dial but I can’t get it to work with range finder rs. As for the rest of the stuff in the combo, if you don’t need that stuff then yeah I’m sure it would work fine. I don’t know if they will let it work with the non pro rs3, might be a Firmware release once they’ve sold enough pro units would be my guess. The range finder rs doest work with rs2. I tried just for giggles and it doesn’t work.
@@videographerstuff539 I don’t have any of them, I’m buying an RS3 Pro, but I’m not sure if the extra accessories that comes with the “combo” would be absolutely needed in order to use de LiDAR range finder.
@@venacorchea do you have manual lenses? If your camera has good auto focus and you only have auto focus lenses then no need for the range finder or combo in my opinion.
@@venacorchea hey I dunno if you already bought it, but the pro combo has the new focus motor (2022), this is what you need to make your LiDAR work. but imo, buy the simple version of the DJI RS3 Pro and the Focus Motor (2022) separately!
