I am a 74 year old guy who is interested in buying an adventure bike (Honda CB 500 X) and I am finding your videos extremely helpful. I haven't ridden a bike since the early 70's, so I am way behind the curve on what's new in equipment. Thanks for all your help.

I like that you cover a wide budget range, and offer "real world" based opinion. Most top 5, 10, twenty lists, will always be opinion based. What works with your reviews, is you make no bones about them being your opinion. That and you keep it reasonably current to what's widely available here in Canada. For I guy like me getting back to motorcycling after years,(way Too Many years at that,) having lost touch with the trends and technologies. Your reviews have been invaluable, for giving me a base line of knowledge. Thanks

I love these videos Ryan, super honest and more common man stuff which relates to most of us regular motorcyclists. Keep up the great content !

I've put a few thousand miles on the fox bomber both on and offroad and it's a good warm weather glove. Taken a few low speed spills offroad too and its held up great, not rips or tears. The only two issues I've had is obviously it gets dirty very quick due to being white and also the grippy silicone on the lever fingers is almost completely gone on the clutch side. Well worth the money. I'd probably go with the S model next time due to being more of a street rider.

ive fallen in love with the ALPINESTARS Dual Vented Enduro Motorcycle Gloves, little less protection but for a sub$60 glove there really nice to ride with

As always Ryan, your take on these gloves are spot on. I think, except I haven't tried any of them. However, for some bizarre reason I would follow your recommendation anyways. Maybe it is the fellow Canadian thing, eh!

Need more updated videos like this, the more cinematic style is fine once in a while but this is your bread and butter, don't forget what got you where you are.

I've had the Klim Adventure gloves, for me just not comfortable. I'm now running the Held Sambia, which is a $120 U.S., but kangaroo hide palms and external stitching make it way more comfortable glove, and while the price is higher, so is the over all quality IMO. Thanks for the video.

Hey man, I really like your vids! Could be great if you had a section of reviews for non-leather gear as well...what I mean is like a review on the best armored, waterproof gloves, jackets, boots, pants, but with no natural leather in the construction. I've been looking on good gear without leather and it is kinda hard to get the same quality as the leather ones...
Keep up the awesome work! Ride safe!

I looked like the older kilm gloves that you had on had the ceramic thing over the wrist? But the new one doesn't, I'm trying to find one that does but no luck ,,help

Seen a few of your glove picks. Curious why no Held brand? I keep trying to find good gloves and time and again I come back to Held because of the features, fit, and quality. Hot weather gloves especially are tough to find. My current is the Sambia. Flow really well and has lots of crash protection. Not cheap, but hard to find good and cool.

Went with the Icon Patrol Waterproof gloves, and what a joke!... On me of course. Went for 2 weeks motorcycling in scotland, had a couple days of heavy rain and these gloves turned into micro lochs on my hands. They have the rain resistance of a biscuit. Additionally my husbands pair shredded at the seams. I do not recommend these for any situation where a waterproof glove is required. In regular weather, i.e. no moisture they keep your hands warm for the price, but if your thinking they will keep your hands dry... forget it. .. Ryan F9... you let me down on this review.

hey Ryan was wondering if you had any updates with the Bomber in 2019? How does this more budget glove compare to something like the Rev It Sand 3?

    • @32carus
      @32carus 4 года назад

In reality, get the Bomber if you have no problem with the clarino palm, if not Sand 3 is good, but I'd recommend the Striker 3, has a ventilated top half for summer with goatskin palm for abrasion needs and also cheaper.

@@32carus thanks for the reply, i ended up going with the Dirt 3 gloves instead haha.. thanks for your input though!

Ive been riding for 5 months now with the Fox Racing Bomber Gloves and the grippy finger tips are completely gone and worn through. The rest of the glove is still holding up. I ride a lot of offroad

Ryan, Love the videos. Ever thought about expanding out to non-motorcycle gear that can also work for budget minded riders ie, Mechanix Mpact gloves... but for all types of riding gear...

Home Depot has really good gloves for an ok price but Amazon will have them cheaper. Check them out first at the store though. Gloves need to fit 👍 right

Ryan...... why am I not impressed with your gloves here when I'm still using my all leather gauntlets that were issued to me in December 1975. To ride Harley's all winter long on the trees of Toronto? Wool inner mittens included. And they are in magnificent shape after 37 yrs on the job and 8 years retired. And yes I have a Harley, BMW K75 and version 1 Africa Twin..
