I think Minnesota most likely wins this game but Darnold throwing 6 TD’s on arguably the best defending trio in the league is over hyping Darnold. If the Jets get the run game going, it opens up the pass game significantly and AR will be able to pick apart the Minnesota defense and keep this game close. Minnesota has allowed 274.3/Passing ypg while NYJ have allowed only 128/passing YPG. Minnesota will be forced to run the ball more than they want to. Not to mention, the most points Minnesota has scored in any game is 34. So this 6 passing TD theory of yours is wishful thinking. This game will be a lot closer than people might think. If the Jets can keep Rodgers protected, it may be a long night for Minnesota.

This game will be closer than all these casuals think it will. Plus the most points the Vikings have put up this year is 34. I don’t see them putting up that many on the Jets.

They are in London (not Minnesota) And the Jets have not beaten the Vikings "three straight times". Vikings beat the Jets most recently in December of 2022. 22-27 was the final in Minnesota
Technically it's a home game for Minnesota. Plus the UK and Europe have A LOT of vikings fans. Im not 100 percent sure but I think out of states NFL fans has the Vikings listed number 1. But I could be wrong

Finally a fan who is realistic about things. All these casuals think Darnold will throw 6 TD passes against the 2nd best pass defense in the league. I’m not a fan of either team but I’m a fan of football and I try to be as realistic as possible. I’m happy that the Vikings are having success this season, they’ve made the NFC North arguably the best conference in the league. I’m a Lions fan and I want them to earn their success. I think Darnold is playing lights out but I can’t imagine a world where he has 6 TD passes against DJ Reed, Sauce Gardener and Michael Clark. Good Luck to you guys.

The Jets O won’t be able to put up more than 13 without assistance from multiple short fields.
If Minn plays standard non turnover ball, they win easily. But if Jets D gives Darnold issues, Rodgers will cash in on short fields.
the only reason the vikings defense wasn’t insane at the end of the game is because Love had a LOT of time really all game. with how bad the jets O-Line is, it’s gonna be a field day for flores
2 of Love's TDs came on drives less than 20 yards. Offense got complacent, but defense stayed pretty locked in all game
the Jets have a much improved O-line and had 1 bad game against one of the best defenses in the league...you're going to be let down

It’s possible that they sack him multiple times and get pressure on him at least half of the time. But, if the Jets O Line allows him 2 seconds to get the ball off, Minnesota is in trouble. The Vikings allow 274 pass yards a game. Rodgers will pick apart that type of pass defense. Not to mention, the Jets only allow 128 pass yards a game. This forces Minnesota to run the ball more than they’d like to. This game will be much closer than most of you think. Don’t let last weeks performance cause you to overreact. The Vikings know they are in for a tough matchup and the same goes for the Jets.

This is a game the Vikings should absolutely dominate, which are always the games we get destroyed. It happens at least once a year. This will be the real game to show whether this team is built different.

This will be a test for the Vikings defense. In their first four games they faced QB's who have much less experience than Rodgers and they might have been easier to confuse with the looks Flores' defense gave them. I hate that this London game counts as a Vikings home game. Facing the Jets in Minnesota would have been a huge advantage.

Keep in mind that a large amount of the passing yards GB got on us came after we started playing prevent defense, which was very dumb to do so early on, but Flo isn't going to make that mistake again. It'll be blitzes all day giving Rodgers flashbacks.

I think the Vikings will pull out the win most likely unless they allow the Jets to get the run game going or the short screen passes to Breece Hall, then I can see it going a different way. Should be a good game either way.
@@ghxstreborntrue that vikings allow the most pass yards, but they’re also tied for 1st in interceptions and lead the league in sacks, not to mention dominate the league in pressures (96, next closest team has around 85 and no one else is above 80). it’s a style of defense that’s fine giving up the big play a few times each drive as long as they put enough pressure on the qb to force them into a mistake. i am interested to see how a qb who has a lot more experience does against this defense though, because Rodgers will probably be less likely to make mistakes when under pressure as opposed to just taking the sack or throwing the ball away. i agree that it will be a huge test for darnold, but if our o-line holds up like it has been and gives him time to make plays, i think he should be up to the challenge

@@thqrfinn1820 it’s not a misleading stat, the Vikings allow only 75 rush yards a game. You play until the final whistle blows regardless of what the score says. They have won two games by 7 points or less. Those two games they allowed the most pass yards. They allowed 166 to the Giants and only 256 to the Texans and won those games by multiple scores. They allowed 294 to Purdy and 379 to Love. That tells me that when plying elite QB’s the Vikings pass defense is much weaker. The run defense has been much better. But when the Vikings play a rush first offense with a top O Line, they will have problems. I hope you guys do well honestly. But I know football and I see things that average fans don’t. Save this comment and comeback to it when you guys struggle against a good running team that causes the pass defense to open up even more and gives you that L you think the Vikings won’t take this season.

As a Vikings fan, i know better. On paper and what weve seen so far from both teams, yes it looks like Vikings should win this one pretty easily. But Vikings have been known to have let downs and lose to a team theyre favored to beat in the past when they've been getting praise from the media. I just hope Vikings are not underestimating the Jets at all (I don't think koc will allow that to happen, but who knows). Theres still too much talent on that Jets team to take them lightly.

The WR stats against the Vikings is deceiving. The Vikings played to bend not break in the second half and keep all the plays in front of them. Which in the end was the difference maker needed to win the clock management battle. The first half is what the Vikings defense is capable of. Completely blanketing and blanking an offense. It's early, Rodgers hadn't played in a year and a half, and his receivers are not yet on the same page as him -- it may take awhile but they'll be 100% better before long

I remember when the Vikes were in our 4th string QB last year and I was just grateful we had even a shot of making the playoffs going into week 16. Saleh is a very, very good coach and I think the Jets have a more talented roster than their record.

All due respect to the Jets’ defense, but they’ve only looked good against the Titans, Patriots, and Broncos. Not exactly 3 juggernaut offenses. The one good team they played (San Francisco) absolutely shredded them. This one shouldn’t be close. 28-10 Vikes.
This has trap game written all over. Sam began to struggle a bit when the Packers brought pressure late in the game last week.
The Vikes' showed they can blow out any team. If the D shows up like they did in the first half last week and the previous three games, then the Jets don't stand a chance. Rodgers is Rodgers but he ain't what he used to be.
