It's really nice to see him thriving. As fun as it was to meme on him, he really deserved better. Now that he's with the Vikings, he's finally having his Mayfield redemption arc. Both him and Mayfield are both thriving and I'm happy for them

more geno smith id say, Mayfield was good on the browns, Darnold never really was. Him and Geno both got ruined by the Jets and like 6 maybe a little more for Geno since getting drafted finally proved why they were drafted

Pleased to hear you raise Goff. Why do folks never include him in the conversation. I think he only won about 3 of his first 20 games as a Lion.
Also why do folks think Sam will turn into a pumpkin, when he is new in an offence and should only get better as the playbook gets more familiar and play calls get more instinctive, and he gets more practice time with his new playmakers? Isn't that the automatic assumption with Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams?
It's probably more realistic to view the first 4 weeks of the Vikings as their floor, and not their ceiling. Sam is new, he is still having mix ups with Aaron Jones, his new RB, Addison has missed multiple games and missed the last two weeks of training camp so they haven't had much recent work together, Hockenson is due back and they have never worked together, and that's just the offence.
There are 10-12 new players on the defensive starting rotation and they have never played with each other, or the Vikes incumbents and are also just learning the Flores scheme.
Whatever you think of the Vikes now, they will probably be a lot better by week 10 or 12.

I haven't watched a full game of Darnold yet, but what I have seen on Redzone, he appears to be very confident and it certainly helps when you have Justin Jefferson the human ball magnet, but not discrediting Sam at all, he's doing everything a QB should. I agree with you, they should only improve, of course this is the NFL and sometimes a team will lose a game or two to "lowly" opponents that they shouldn't and suddenly the team is set back, so things can happen. But fundamentally, the Vikings look like the real deal.

Sorry, one additional Note about the Seahawks game. The real praise should be placed upon Geno and their offense. They didn't have a defense to help them, Yet they Continued to fight back and make it a game. What that tells me about the lions is their defense has issues. I am not putting down Geno.
I am simply saying the Seahawks have an excuse as to why their defense had massive problems. What is the lions excuse???
Wait until the lions defense faces the vikings offense, OMG, they will get SMOKED!!! The lions only have Aidan applying pressure at this moment. IF that holds true against the vikings, they will be in DEEP TROUBLE when trying to stop the plethora of weapons that the vikings will throw at them.

Look what they did/are doing to three Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks: Brett Favre, Joe Flacco, and Aaron Rodgers. No one succeeds with the Jets. They’re a revolving door for quarterbacks. And they’re not one quarterback away. ADAM GASE never even played football! Maybe Aaron Rodgers will turn it around this week, but last year, tearing his Achilles four plays into the season is the most Jets thing ever, besides Sam getting mono.

To be fair, it doesn't work out for a lot of people in NY because it's a bad organization.
Sam and Gino both turned into fine quarterbacks. New York doesn't have patience, and it's a place devoid of rational thinking.
Rodgers isn't working out in NY either, lol. And if that isn't the biggest, "here's your sign" moment then brother, I don't know what else to tell ya.

Hello Rich, I believe that you are Neglecting to mention one Very Important aspect of Goff's performance and of the Accolades that you bestowed upon the Seahawks Defense - I got this from ESPN (and another network as well) that the Seahawks were missing their ENTIRE Starting Desfensive line.
IF this is correct (I have zero reason to believe it is not true), then your Praise for Goff is Very Much Overrated. Did Goff perform Well? Yes, he did. BUT, I do not care what team you play, IFFF they are missing their Entire defensive line it is going to be a ROUGH/DIFFICULT long night for your defense. Thus, the case with their game against Goff. Thus, the reason Goff was able to perform at such a high level with little to No resistance from the D Line.
Wait for the game against Minnesota and lets see how Goff performs then? Goff was basically cherry picking against the Seahawks.

Sam is new in the Vikes offence and should improve as he gets to know the scheme and players better, just like we expect of Caleb Williams, and Jayden Daniels. It's just lame group think of folks that haven't done their homework and can't think for themselves.

Nope, that time has past. What happened with Dobbs is he came in and played street ball bc he didn’t even know the playbook, and it worked. Then He couldn’t run the offense when he learned it. This is nothing like that.
Darnold has been there all offseason, and now balled out 4 straight games and knocked off 3 straight contenders. There is no reason to suggest it won’t continue.
