He always says the right things but I hope you guys put him in a situation that he plays free and willing to wing it out there, regardless of outcome. Gotta play fearless or he won't excel.
Walked by Sam on sunday in St Paul. He was heading to the Noah Kahan concert im sure on Saturday. Anyways walked up to him after he crossed the street tapped him on the shoulder to ask if he was Sam Darnold. quick interaction, I said good luck on the season because i almost froze and we went on our way. He seems like a great dude. Hoping for the best with him and the team this year.
IDK I remember clear as day playin' against the panthers and thinking... Sam Darnold is underrated asf. He had insane pocket awareness .... and could rifle that ball over the middle. I'm glad he's getting this opportunity. You got this brother. Regardless of what people say below/above, I know you're a straight up baller!

The whole not succeeding in Carolina thing is overblown imo he was 8-9 in 17 starts for Carolina which says a lot cause Bryce young and Bakers combined record for the panthers is 3-20. Also technically he didn’t fail in SanFran he was brought there to be the backup and he beat out Trey Lance
I know eventually sam will be set aside for jj but i really hope he proves that he was a victim of inept teams and resurges. I doubt he will be in mn for long but i hope he goes somewhere special after proving himself.

He has a strong 💪 arm and he’s quite mobile, he can run if needed to. You give him a strong O-line and a receiver, he’s dangerous.
