Thank you to all the workers who make these balls and all the ‘small’ things in life that make our world. Always a big shout out Steve Smith for being an awesome and entertaining person…and one of my favourite NFL players ever!
This was cool to see how they make the actual ball for the game! Steve should try cheerleading or Super Bowl halftime. He’s got some good episodes and always so kind to the staff who are behind the scenes with players and coaches
What better human to be in this facility than Steve Smith, Sr. As many balls he has handled...to see him go through the process of making them is absolutely iconic and necessary.
🎉Thanks for the tour and education #Steve and #Wilson. Believe it or not my favorite part was the “safety yellow and red” on those machines. I used to manufacture bowling balls 🎳 and there are a lot of similarities. Safety is always first! When the young lady said they manufacture 480 footballs 🏈 🏈🏈🏈 a day that’s how many bowling balls 🎳 we used to do as well.
The guy who has to turn all the balls rightside out has got to have the strongest hands in the world, I just hope he doesn't suffer later in life from carpel tunnel or arthritis. Also, this is hardly the end for these balls. When each team's equipment manager gets them, they still have to do a lot of prep to get them ready for a game. You can surely find a video on that on here as well.
Pay them employees more please that make millions off footballs the employees need parts of that to they make the balls 👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿🍑🤡🤡🍑🤮😁👺😊😁😊🤷🏽♂️🥶🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🥶🥶
@@TWP13 we don’t know that for sure. Most people who stay at a company (especially as a production worker) for 47 years have limited options elsewhere. I HOPE she has a great pension and retirement benefits. And as stated, if she’s happy and content, then I’m okay.
What happened to the gps and magnet that locks in on the receiver's hands to make those catches. Like the game is rigged conspiracy theorists always talk about?

You are doing a huge service to the hard working American class and the country. Keep doing your thing!!!!
I’ve a lot more respect for what goes into making these things. I really didn’t understand how much manual labor was still involved. Impressive work.
Thankyou Wilson for keeping production in America!
This video makes me appreciate every football I’ve ever thrown or played with more

Hall of famer in my book. And quality person.
Love that Wilson is employing people in the USA
Is going to the Riddell or Schut company to see how they make their helmets/pads next?
I love this series. It's so cool to see all the people who work so hard to make the game happen every Sunday.

Just read an article saying that episode will be uploaded on October 24th. I'm looking forward to it as well.
A great behind the scenes look at the process
Shoutout Ada, OH! Home of the NFL football and Ohio Northern University!
Get this man in hall of fame already
One of the few times I heard Steve Smith be this quiet lol. More Smitty!
Surprised how little of the football making process is done by some sort of machine assembly line. Interesting that so much is done by hand.
All NFL footballs are sewn by 2 women! I just happen to be 1 😍
@@cjdyer2096 Wow, incredible!
Love Steve Smith and Keep Pounding Panthers!
Love these.
I can never call it pigskin again. "Throw the ole cowhide around."
I'm not even a football fan and this is fascinating.
do a day in the life of a water boy next
They have a movie about that already.
Incredible process
Love the series! I think maybe a coach's POV for a team could be super cool. always wondered what they are up to behind the scenes and on gameday
He did one with ny giants about 2 years ago

The dude flipping the leather must have gotten deceptively strong doing this all day for years on end
Has no idea how footballs are made....so interesting!
I love Wilson football. 🏈
Thank you for trying Steve
Surprised anything is still made in america at this rate. Thought all warehouses were kaput.
Cool tour
Do a day of being an NFL baby momma next please!

Hey Steve Smith Sr!! Try working the pyro and or lights at a stadium
Gotta see the field painted!

Well, Amer Sports from Finland owns many brands, including Wilson.

And if a player decides to keep the ball or throw it into the stands, it costs them about $500 for each occurrence 😂😂😂
Go thru kickers practice routine 😂
There's a deflategate joke in here somewhere

You think her fingers were bandaged from the job?
It's to protect from calluses and cuts from the thick thread she pulls through the machine after each ball.
that womans fingers have been through it
The tape on her fingers is to protect from calluses and cuts from the thick thread she pulls through the machine after each ball.

Did that lady say she has worked there for 47 years! I feel sad for her but I guess as long as she’s content and happy.
47 years I bet she got a great pension and benefits.

he's the only black face in the place
Who cares? They make a great product. Also, it's the middle of nowhere Ohio, tf you expect? Quit race baiting
And?
There are 3 within the first 2 minutes of the video.. not that it's relevant, whatsoever.

All their hard work for a rigged league. That’s sad. *
Is there a single black person or ethnic person that actually works there?

The first person he worked with was a black woman so I’m quite sure that it’s more working there
It’s a small town in Ohio with a population of about 5000 and 96% of them are white
